I went with my family, and we had an absolutely fantastic day — laughing, screaming, and soaking wet for most of it! From the moment we walked in, the energy was buzzing. We started at the Water Park, and the kids couldn’t get enough of the slides — from the Little Zimbabwe zone to the crazy high Vuvuzela ride (I dared one round… and screamed like a kid). Then we floated together on the River of Life, which gave us a little break before moving on to the other zones. Next was Amusement Park and Extreme Park — where we rode the pirate ship, and my older kid even tried out the flying fox. Huge thumbs-up from them! The Wildlife Park surprised us — it was calm and educational, and we got to see tigers, sun bears, and even pet some animals. The kids loved it. But the highlight? The massive Surf Beach. The artificial waves were epic — perfect for pretending we were on a tropical island. We just sat back, soaked in the sun, and let the kids splash around for hours. I barely realized how time flew! Overall, it’s a place where kids and adults both get to be big kids. It’s chaotic in the best way, and one of those places where you leave tired but so happy. #timetotravel At Shatin Park in Shatin, along the Shing Mun River, New Town of Shatin, near New Town Plaza, Shatin Town Hall and Shatin Public Library, there is a big area as play ground in the North. It’s a great place for family and pet on weekends to share fun activities together. The man made hill side, with a lengthy slope going up, crawl under the cave through the other side and climbing the swirl stairs down from the Chinese pavilion. Or sliding at one of the huge equipped children playground. Also a big green lawn for mini rugby or other activities with fun for both adults and the young ones. #myhiddengems My day at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore was such a fun and memorable experience! 🦒 Located in Druid Hill Park, the zoo is one of the oldest in the country, and it has a great mix of classic charm and modern exhibits. The entrance fee was around $25 for adults, and I felt it was worth every penny. The zoo is well-maintained and beautifully landscaped, making it a pleasant place to explore. I started my visit with the African Journey, where I saw majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, and even rhinos. The way the habitats are designed makes you feel like you're right there on safari! 🐘 The Penguin Coast exhibit was another highlight—it's home to a large colony of African penguins, and you can get so close to them while they swim and play. Watching their cute little waddles was a delight! 🐧 The zoo also has a great Maryland Wilderness section with river otters, bobcats, and playful farm animals that kids will love. There are plenty of picnic areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings, and a few food stands offering snacks and drinks. After spending a few hours at the zoo, I took a walk around Druid Hill Park, which has lovely paths and a beautiful lake.
