Looking for great and free Barcelona views? I got you covered😎🌇
We didn’t go inside the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, and honestly? We didn’t have to — the outside is already an experience in itself ✨
The grand staircases, fountains, and palace-like façade set the mood, but the real 💎gem💎 is behind the museum. There, you’ll find a massive open terrace overlooking all of Barcelona. No people, open space — all belongs to you!
And yes — you can clearly see the Sagrada Família, the rooftops of the old town, and even all the way out to the sea 🌆⛪🌊
It’s the kind of view that makes you stop, breathe, and say: “Wow... this is Barcelona.”
Fewer crowds, golden hour light, and a full cityscape — no ticket required. Just bring comfy shoes and your camera 📷💛

A perfect blend of comfort and convenience — made our Venice trip truly memorable!
We stayed at Hampton by Hilton Venice for 2 nights as a couple and had a wonderful experience. Everything about our stay was smooth and hassle-free — from check-in to check-out. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring Venice.
The breakfast was also a highlight — fresh, delicious, and with a good variety. The hotel’s location is convenient, especially if you’re arriving or departing via the airport or train, and the shuttle service makes it even more accessible.
Highly recommend this hotel for a stress-free and comfortable stay near Venice!

🌊 Sarıyer: Where Istanbul Breathes in Blue 🌿
#summervacay
Far from the city’s usual chaos, Sarıyer whispers a different Istanbul — slower, softer, deeply serene. Tucked along the northern Bosphorus, this coastal district isn’t made for rushing; it’s made for pausing. Here, the sea isn’t just a view, it’s a companion. Locals sip tea by the shore, fishermen cast lines in silence, and seagulls drift through the salted air. The rhythm is unhurried, the beauty effortless. Wander through seaside promenades, past Ottoman mansions and quiet cafes shaded by plane trees. In Sarıyer, Istanbul exhales — and invites you to do the same. Sometimes, gazing at the water is all you need.✨

✨ I mean... isn’t it the most beautiful city of Europe?!🇨🇿💫
Two dreamy days in Prague, and we’re still not over it. Gothic towers, cobbled streets, riverside views, castles, and that sweet scent of trdelník around every corner? Yes, please. 😍
📍 Day 1 – Old Town Charm & Riverside Romance
Old Town Square ⏳
Kicked off in the heart of Prague, where the Astronomical Clock puts on a magical hourly show. We grabbed fresh trdelník and admired the fairy-tale spires of Týn Church.
Charles Bridge 🌉
Walking across this 14th-century masterpiece with street musicians and golden hour light? Unreal.
Kampa Island 🐹
A peaceful park escape — and guess what? We met the cutest nutria animals by the riverbank! Check out the last photo!
Dancing House 🕺
A modern twist in a historic city. We sipped coffee from the rooftop and watched the Vltava flow beneath us.
Dinner & Czech Beer 🍽️🍺
Ended the day with classic svíčková (beef in creamy sauce), dumplings, and crisp Czech Pilsner — it really does hit different here.
📍 Day 2 – Castle Dreams & Storybook Streets
Prague Castle & St. Vitus Cathedral 🏰
One of the biggest castle complexes in the world, with jaw-dropping views and the gothic grandeur of St. Vitus — wow! It reminds me of Cologne Cathedral - this is a cannon miss place in Prague!
🏞Perfect time to go and chill out on the Vltava River with your lads on private pedal boats. Make sure to grab some drinks🥂
Malá Strana 🏘️
Our favorite neighborhood — lanterns, narrow lanes, and total peace. You feel like you stepped back in time. A less-touristy spot😉
Wenceslas Square 🛍️
Ended our trip where history meets modern life. Great spot for a quick snack and final souvenir browsing.
🍴 Must-Try:
Trdelník – crispy, sweet chimney cake
Svíčková – creamy Czech classic
Goulash & dumplings – comfort in a bowl
Czech beer – honestly, the best in Europe 🍻

Inside or outside? Sagrada Família makes it impossible to choose
If you're in Barcelona, Sagrada Família is an absolute must—and I finally got to explore it inside and out!
📍 Outside: The basilica's intricate facades will leave you in awe. Each side tells a story—don’t miss the Nativity and Passion facades. The level of detail is insane! 📸
🌿 Inside: Step in, and you’re instantly wrapped in a forest of light. The stained glass windows create a rainbow effect across the white stone—pure magic. I literally couldn't believe my eyes how beautiful it is🌈🕊️
🌙 Night view: Make sure to swing by again after sunset and take some pics of Sagrada at night!✨📷
> It’s honestly hard to say what’s more beautiful — the outside carved in stone or the inside bathed in color. But please, don't skip visiting it inside - so mind-blowing🤯
🎟️ Tips:
➡️Buy tickets online in advance—they do sell out, especially the tower access ones!
➡️Pick the “Sagrada Família with audio guide” option for the best experience.
➡️The official audio guide app works right on your phone—just bring earbuds! 🎧📲
⏰ I recommend visiting in the morning or in the afternoon for the best sunlight through the windows.

Oslo’s Munch museum. A fitting home for Norway’s artistic genius
After arriving at Oslo's central station, I took a short 10-minute walk to the Munch museum, a treasure trove of artistic genius. Edvard Munch, one of Norway's most iconic artists, was raised in Oslo, and this city has been proudly showcasing his works since 1963. The current museum building, opened in 2021, is a stunning architectural marvel that houses an incredible collection of over 28,000 works across 13 floors. Munch's life was marked by tragedy, losing his mother and older sister by the time he was just 13. His art is a powerful reflection of his emotional and psychological state, a testament to his struggles with depression and bereavement. Let's dive in and explore the fascinating world of Munch's art.
Of course, the real draw here is The Scream. So famous, that it’s one of only two paintings to have its own emoji. There are three versions of this artwork on display - a painting, a drawing and a print. But due to the fragility of the art, they’re never all on display at the same time. You can find The Scream on the 4th floor of the museum with the different versions being shown roughly every 30 minutes.

Exploring Greece’s second city - Thessaloniki!
Not many people have Thessaloniki on their list of places to visit when travelling to Greece. But I found myself in Greece’s second city when travelling for a wedding. And I was pleasantly surprised at what there was to see and visit here!
Dating back a couple of millennia, this city was key in Roman and Byzantine times; with it being a major city in the founding of Christianity.
So much of this history is on show in the city. In fact, there’s that much ancient history here that you can blink and miss some of it!
One of the main tourist attractions is the White Tower along Thessaloniki’s sea front. This Byzantine fortification has become the de facto symbol of the city and it’s well worth a visit.
Other key areas to visit include the Arch of Galerius and Heptapyrgion. It’s a cultural wonder, and you’ll enjoy a few days stopping over in this metropolis.

Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife’s first holiday resort!
Puerto de la Cruz is the original holiday resort on the island of Tenerife. For that reason, this city really has something that caters to everyone and to all budgets. From the colonial architecture in the Old Town, to the sprawling and expansive coast line, there is something for everyone here. And a stones throw away from Puerto de la Cruz are also some stunning destinations that are waiting to be uncovered. So come with me as I show you the best places to visit whilst touring around this picture perfect town, and let me highlight some of the best tourist attractions that you must include in your itinerary whilst staying in this part of Tenerife.
One of your first stops in the city has to be to the Centro Histórico de Puerto de La Cruz or the Old Town. It’s a fantastic place to wander around and admire the colourful colonial architecture and wall art on display. Intertwined with boutique shops and eateries, this has the ultimate laid back vibe.
A good vantage point of the city can be had at La Batería de Santa Barbara. Built in the 18th century to protect against pirate attacks, this area is now a fascinating historical monument complete with ancient cannons on display.
Further along the waterfront is Costa Martianez. This leisure complex consists of seven seawater pools surrounded by sunbathing areas as well as bars and restaurants. There’s a fee to enter, but it’s a great place to unwind, especially if the surrounding sea waters are a bit choppy on the day you’re visiting.
Further along the coast, you’ll find Playa de la Barranquera. A small, black sand beach which is a popular spot for surfers.
Starting to head out of town, you’ll find the Agatha Christie Painted steps. Agatha Christie spent some time in Puerto de La Cruz in 1927, and to honour this, the town has painted these 47 steps with titles of Christie’s books emblazoned on them.
After a short hike, and just minutes away from the Agatha Christie steps is Mirador de la Paz - a viewpoint with vistas stretching across the whole city and the ocean below. It’s a great place to soak in the vibes of Puerto de la Cruz and to really see why this is such a popular tourist destination.

Conwy, a town straight out of a fairytale!
When many people think of towns in the United Kingdom, perhaps the first thing that comes to mind are quaint little villages, hundreds of years old, that look like they’ve come right out of a fairytale.
There’s not many places like that in the United Kingdom - but they can still be found. Here is one example - Conwy in North Wales.
With an exquisitely restored castle, this town is almost something out of a fantasy novel. Make sure you wander around the castle walls and ponder on what life would have been like here in medieval times.
Then make sure you walk around the town itself. The beautifully quaint buildings and cottages will leave you captivated. And to top it off, the harbour area is so calm and relaxing. You won’t be forgetting your visit to this town in a hurry!

The Beautiful & Unique Arcades Of Cardiff, Like Travelling Back In Time
Cardiff is a magical city with so much history at its centre, the castle is a very well known landmark - but a hidden gem
Of Cardiff is its range of Victorian arcades. Cardiff has seen a lot of development over the last few years but it still has some very unique features with an old world charm.
The arcades are beautifully restored and have lots of original Victorian features, some even have their upper balconies restored too. They feature lots of cafes, restaurants and independent stores - and on the upper levels have dentists, massage parlours and some offices too.
The castle quarter arcades and the high street arcade offer the most stores, and barkers tea house in the castle arcade is KT favourite daytime spot. Across the arcade is their gin bar which is an amazing place to start your night in Cardiff.
Usually used to cut through between St Mary’s and Queen street these arcades don’t get enough attention for the architectural wonders that they are! Check them out

Run with history at the Panathenaic Stadium
Steeped in history, Athens is a cultural masterpiece. And one place to be toured is the fascinating panathenaic stadium, located on the site of an Ancient Greek stadium.
The original was built in 330 BC with the second being built in 144 CE. This second structure was excavated in 1869, and it is this that forms the basis of the modern structure in place today.
To say it’s nothing short of fascinating is an understatement. The marble stones used in its construction is beautiful by nature. This stadium was the trailblazer for many of the stadia constructed in the western world throughout the early 20th Century.
The real draw here though, is to be able to walk - or run, as the case may be - in the footsteps of our ancestors. The track is open for walking and wandering around. You can’t help but go for a jog, run or sprint here.
And if you’re feeling particularly victorious, make sure you hop on the podium to show to the world the result of your endeavours!

Kravica Waterfalls: Beautiful Natural Gem 💎
#postandearn
Kravica Waterfalls, located on the Trebižat River in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is one of the most popular day trips from Dubrovnik, Split, and Mostar. It looks like something out of a Lord of the Rings novel, or a place where fairies could easily live.
🐾To get to the falls you need to hike down 426 feet (130 m) over 0.25 miles, and the rocks can be quite slick if it rains, so make sure you have good shoes. The trail is paved with stairs, and is quite gradual decline in with several shaded places to stop and some switchbacks.
🌞It is one of the most popular spots in Bosnia & Hertz, especially during the hot summer months. Because the waterfalls are fed by the Trezibit River/Spring so the water is a cool 68 F (20 C) year round.
🚩How to get there: the easiest way to visit the Kravica waterfalls is to take an organised tour from Dubrovnik or from Mostar.

Summer weekend in Seville🧡
#summervacay
After centuries of Moorish rule, Seville became the starting point of Spain’s grand maritime adventures. From Columbus to generations of explorers, dreams set sail from this very city. Strolling through its grand cathedrals and palaces, you can still feel echoes of that golden age.
🗺 My 2-Day Itinerary:
Day 1:
• Morning: Bus from Granada to Seville
• Seville Cathedral — Climb the tower, admire its grandeur, visit Columbus’ tomb
• Teatro Flamenco Sevilla — Intense, soulful Flamenco performance
• Plaza de España at Sunset — The golden light makes this iconic square glow
Day 2:
• Royal Alcázar of Seville — Stunning blend of Moorish and Spanish design
• Iglesia del Divino Salvador — Another beautiful church worth seeing
• Torre del Oro (Golden Tower) — Riverside landmark
• Metropol Parasol (Las Setas) — Unique modern structure with panoramic views
• Afternoon: Bus to Portimão
💡 Practical Tips:
✔ Most sights are walkable in the city center
✔ Seville Cathedral: €12 (€6 student), book tickets in advance
✔ Flamenco Show: Small theater, €25 (€18 student), 60 mins — raw, emotional, unforgettable!
✔ Plaza de España: Best at sunset around 7 PM in summer
✔ Royal Alcázar: €14.5 (€7 student), tickets sell out fast — book 1 month early
🌅 My Impression:
The combination of grand architecture, rich history, and passionate Flamenco makes Seville unforgettable. The Royal Alcázar feels like stepping into a fairytale, though I still think the Alhambra is more impressive. Watching Flamenco live left me speechless — it’s intense, raw, and filled with emotion.
A perfect summer stop for history lovers and sunset chasers!

The Acropolis is truly an Ancient wonder to be discovered!
A Greek odyssey, Athens is straight out of a book of history. Tales of myths and legends abound, this city transports you straight back to the classical period. And then some.
The centrepiece of the city is the acropolis. Basically, the whole city has been built around this historic masterpiece. No matter where you look in the city, you’re treating to views on this ancient wonder.
Wandering around this site, I couldn’t help but marvel in the significance of the history and the culture on show here. Thousands of years of history, with stories of people’s lives intertwined and contained within the palaces and edifices that remain. Many of their stories may be long forgotten but the walls that remain are the only witness to the scandals, the loves and losses that have taken place here over the millennia of activity within this incredible citadel.
It’s not just during the day time that this place will leave you in a sense of wonder and awe. Make sure you head to one of the many vantage points in the city to catch a sunset, such as Mount Lycabettus like I did. And stay for golden hour. To see Athens and the Acropolis is now a core memory that I’m sure I’ll never forget.
Athens is an ancient wonder of the world that must be discovered in a thoroughly modern world.

Visiting a typical Dutch city without the manic buzz of Amsterdam!
Do you fancy visiting The Netherlands, but want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam?
Then Haarlem may be the place for you! I took a day trip to this city from Amsterdam - the journey takes less than half an hour on the train!
In this city, you’re rewarded with a smaller version of Amsterdam. You’ve still got the canals and the beautiful Dutch architecture. But you don’t have the crowds, and it makes for a much more laid back experience whilst wandering around.
It’s also in this city that you can see some of the windmills that The Netherlands is so famous for. It’s quintessentially Dutch but without the mania that can sometimes accompany Amsterdam.

A beautiful city break in Amsterdam
Amsterdam. The Capital of The Netherlands. And very much, a worthy city break destination.
This city, filled with canals and dominated by bicycles, is easy on the eye, with attractive streets and waterways aplenty. The buildings have their own charm and it’s a pleasant experience admiring them.
Amsterdam also has a lot of culture on display. Home to many museums, two in particular that stand out are the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum.
The Van Gogh museum in particular is such a brilliantly curated gallery, it really brings the artwork to life in a way that I didn’t think possible. I felt like I was able to get a glimpse into the mind of the tortured artist and I came away with a greater appreciation of his masterful works.
So don’t cast Amsterdam to one side. There will be something there for you to discover and uncover!

Positano. Living la dolce vita on the Amalfi Coast
Located on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Positano has gone viral in recent years. And it’s easy to see why!
This town, located on the cliff side, is absolutely beautiful.
Taking a wander through this town, I couldn’t help admiring the old buildings poking through the skyline. Quaint alleyways and restaurants abound, and it’s so easy to spend a day here just admiring the beauty in these tiny streets.
The real beauty, however, is to be had at the waterfront. Taking a boat trip from Positano, you can see the real beauty. It almost looks like something out of a fairy tale, a city frozen in time from a bygone area. It may be crowded, but it will charm you. And that charm will leave you wanting to come back for more!

[Cape Roca] The westernmost point of the Eurasian continent! [Portugal]
Today we will be introducing Cabo da Roca, located on Portugal's Atlantic coast!
As it is the westernmost point of the Eurasian continent, many people come here to sightsee.
It is also known as a scenic spot with a lighthouse standing on a cliff and the endless blue sea and sky.
There is a stone monument engraved with the words of the poet Camões, "Onde a terra acaba e o mar começa (Here the land ends, the sea begins)."
About 500 to 600 years ago, it was feared that beyond this vast ocean was the end of the world, a flowing river.
It is said that sailors set out in caraveras to reach the end of this unknown sea.
This was the Age of Discovery.
It is a very romantic place!
📍Location: Estrada do Cabo da Roca s/n, 2705-001 Colares, Portugal
🚌Access from Lisbon
(Need to transfer)
Lisbon, Rossio Station → Sintra Station, about 40 minutes by train
Sintra Station to Cabo da Roca (1253, 1624), about 45 minutes by bus
(If you are also going to Sintra, we recommend purchasing a train bus ticket (Bilhete Train&Bus) (14€) at Rossio Station.

Tips💡
🌟The wind is very strong, so it's a good idea to bring warm clothes.
(I visited in the morning at the end of May, but it was windy and too cold with a thin jacket 🥶)
🌟If you want to avoid the crowds, I recommend going on a weekday morning.
(I arrived at 8:45 on a weekday. I was the first one there lol
Tourists started to arrive around 9:00)
🌟It seems that visiting in the evening is popular because the sunset scenery is very beautiful.
🌟You can purchase a certificate of reaching the westernmost point of the Eurasian continent at the tourist information center! (2 types, 11€/each)

Magical Malaga, An Underrated Gem Of Southern Spain. Everything You Need In A Holiday.
Southern Spain is a tourist Mecca and it’s famous for its beaches and big cities such as Seville, Granada - however my favourite place is Malaga! Malaga has such a unique charm and it has everything you could possibly want - beautiful beaches, amazing food and a relaxed vibe that really helps you unwind.
The city has a huge airport with flights all over Europe, this with a range of hotels makes it a very budget friendly option. The city also has a cheap and efficient railway line that takes you to the cities of Benelmadena, Torremolinos and Fuenguirola - offering a really diverse range of sites.
Malaga itself has stunning churches, old shopping streets and a beautiful beach front - even though it’s seen a lot of development it’s managed to keep its unique old world charm.
Food highlights are in the central market, pass through the stain glass windows and you are overwhelmed by the scents of the options. The seafood and baked goods are a must do!
At night head to the main shopping street as it’s beautifully illuminated and shops open late. The side streets that wind off the main drag have the best options for food and drink
