Paris - must visit locations Part 3
Paris is France’s capital. It is a major city and is a centre for art, gastronomy, fashion and incredible landmarks. Walking through Paris feels like walking through a fairytale with every corner being picture perfect.
🗼Espl. du Trocadéro (📍Espl. du Trocadéro, 75116
Páris, France) - an iconic location to go to and see the magical Eiffel Tower. It has great vantage points and is extra magical during sunrise. Make sure to get there early as it fills up very quickly. (Top tip: keep an eye on your pockets as this spot is known for its pick pockets).
💃 Moulin Rouge (📍82 Bd de Clichy, 75018 Paris, France) - the famous 19 century cabaret. It features Bella Epoch decor. You can not only watch the cabaret, but also dine while you are enjoying the show. Don’t forget to take a snap with this iconic location. It really is picture perfect. The photo I shared was taken with my iPhone 10 at the time and I think still looks great. ☺️
💒 Sacré-Cœur (📍5 Rue du Cardinal Dubois, 75
018 Paris, France) - completed in 1914 this white domed church sits atop a hill in Paris and has some magical views over the city. Make sure to go inside and head to the top for some seriously amazing panoramic views of the city. Oh and do you spy with your eye something beginning with the letter “E”.

A special night out 🇫🇷

My visit to the Moulin Rouge in Paris was nothing short of magical! 🌟💃 Located in the lively Montmartre district, this iconic cabaret is a must-see for anyone looking to experience the glitz and glamour of Parisian nightlife. I bought my ticket in advance for around €120, which included the show and a glass of champagne. It might sound pricey, but trust me, it’s worth every penny! 🍾🥂 From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the luxurious red velvet décor, sparkling chandeliers, and buzzing atmosphere.
The show itself, “Féerie,” was a dazzling display of talent and creativity. The dancers, dressed in vibrant costumes with feathers and sequins, performed the famous can-can with such energy and precision—it was impossible not to be mesmerized! 💃✨ The choreography was spectacular, and the music had everyone clapping along. There were also incredible acrobatic acts and a jaw-dropping ventriloquist that added variety to the performance. By the end of the night, I was on my feet applauding with the rest of the audience.
After the show, I strolled around the charming Montmartre neighborhood, taking in the views of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and stopping at a nearby café for a late-night snack. 🥖☕️ The Moulin Rouge is more than just a show; it’s an experience that captures the spirit of Paris. If you’re in the city, don’t miss the chance to see this world-famous cabaret! #trip #MoulinRouge #ParisNightlife #CabaretMagic #MontmartreVibes #ParisExperience
Discovering Paris by foot
There is no greater way to see Paris by foot. On this particular day, we started at Abbesses Metro station, discovered the beautiful streets as we made our way up to Montmarte for the great biew over Paris. Then we walked back towards the city and stopped by Moulin Rouge and the red light district. From there we continued down towards Eiffel Tower and then through to Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. When you need a break, stop past a coffee shop for great coffee and a little snack

A Day In Montmartre - Food, Music, Views
Me & my mother took a walking tour around Montmartre & we have no regrets. This charming little area will have a hold on your heart for a lifetime!
We started the walk from Moulin Rouge before proceeding to Van Gogh’s brother’s home, where Van Gogh spent a few years in Paris to pursue art. Learning the history of these places were nicely accompanied by the amazing architecture of these buildings - there were so many photo opportunities as well because of how symmetrical the streets were, how the cobblestone ground complimented the contrast of the skies.
There’s also a Le Petit Train service, which i believe is 8 Euros, but I would recommend discovering this place by foot as the views were more aesthetic that way.
There’s a market area for caricatures, paintings and food that tourists adore. Boulangeries are also common around this area, selling gelatos and pastries, even crepes!
Sacre-Cour was the end point of the walking tour, and the views across from it were unbelievably beautiful. There are a lot of people selling ‘illegally’ here though, so watch out for pickpockets/scams! Do not buy the water, it’s dirty!
Walking around Montmartre, you can also stumble upon La Maison Rose, which was seen in Emily In Paris as well! This is a common photo spot that tourists adore. #emilyinparis #lamaisonrose
