Varanasi is the holy city where the soul of India lives!
Varanasi is said to be a special place where you can experience the heart of India itself. . .
This holy city with over 3,000 years of history spreads along the banks of the Ganges River, and is filled with a mystical atmosphere and energy that flows ceaselessly from morning to night.
If you go to the ghats (stepped banks) at sunrise, you will see people bathing in the river and monks praying, and you will be captivated by the moment when tranquility and vitality intersect.
At night, the city is enveloped in divine light and music during the puja (prayer ceremony) held at Dashashwamedh Ghat, and a magnificent experience awaits.
You can experience sights that we Japanese people rarely experience.
The streets of Varanasi are like a maze, and even three girls were scared to walk around. 😭
The narrow alleys are filled with colorful general stores,
spice-scented food stalls,
traditional textile workshops.
The sight of cows, rickshaws, and local people passing by is a unique charm of Varanasi that you can't experience anywhere else.
There's no way to be careful of 💩, so I washed my shoes at the hotel on my last day in Varanasi.
This city is not just a place to sightsee,
it's a place where you can feel the depth of life and culture.
You can take a journey to reexamine yourself in a spiritual space that transcends time.
I don't think I'll ever go again, beyond reexamining myself. . . It's also a country that divides people into likes and dislikes.

The old town of Varanasi in India is like a maze, but it's worth seeing and fun😆
There are small shops and cows suddenly appear🐂! lol
Personally, I recommend walking around looking at the wall art🎨

[Varanasi] Bathing in the Ganges (see people doing it! LOL)
10 things to do when you go to India 🇮🇳 Part 2
Watch people bathing in the Ganges! Lol
I went to Varanasi's famous ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat, around 6am before sunrise and took a stroll.
It was interesting to see people bathing, some praying individually, some having fun, some performing rituals in groups, and some washing their clothes.🙏
It seems that you can also watch the sunrise and bathing from the river on a small boat.
I didn't go into the river because I was worried about hygiene, but I still enjoyed it.

A Solo Woman's Journey to the Chaotic City of Varanasi
Varanasi is a city that almost every travel YouTuber visits.
My impression? It was worth it!!!!!!
I'm so glad I mustered the courage to go!!!!!!!
I was too scared to walk alone, so I had a guide show me around for a day.
During the dry season, you can walk along the ghats, but in the rainy season, you have to navigate the maze-like streets of the city.
Moreover, the city is full of stray dogs, cows, bikes, and people.
Thanks to the guide, I was able to see the city efficiently and safely without getting lost.
Every sight was fresh and shocking!
If you visit India, Varanasi is a must-see place.
A city that defies common sense, Varanasi.
I definitely want to go again.
However, while there are many good people, be cautious of persistent touts and unsolicited guides.
Indian Gourmet Summary 📍INDIA
Indian food was 100 times more delicious than I imagined (^^)💓
I'm afraid to eat food from street stalls, but there were many dishes that Japanese people like☺️
(And in Varanasi, I only went to Japanese restaurants☺️lol)
📍 Varanasi
📸2,
🔸 BABA LASSI
I think of lassi as a drink, but the lassi sold in Varanasi was like yogurt in a bowl☺️It was delicious☺️
Pomegranates are also famous in India, so I had pomegranate lassi.
It was delicious, but a local Indian acquaintance of mine told me that even Indians would get an upset stomach if they ate lassi from a city like that. lol
📸
🔸 Sushi Cafe And Continental Restaurant
Varanasi is a compact city and a super tourist destination, so there were many Japanese and Korean restaurants.
It was delicious, but the gyoza tasted rotten. That night, Mana's condition worsened.
📍New Delhi
📸
🔸AMA CAFE
A cafe famous for its breakfast.
It's a cafe in a Tibetan settlement, but it's super stylish.
And it's super delicious. It might be expensive by Indian standards, but we added two drinks to the BREAKFAST (with drink) for 1800 yen for two people. Super cheap. Super tasty. The best.
📸
🔸Waho Tenzin Hotel
This is also a curry restaurant in a Tibetan settlement.
The curry here was the best meal I've had in India!
The butter naan is also great. I want to come back and eat it again!
Address: Outer Ring Rd, New Aruna Colony, Dekhang, Timarpur, New Delhi, Delhi, 110054 India
📸
🔸Market stall
Extra edition. My friend, sister in law, was eating it so I took a photo 🥺
Is it delicious? I wonder...? Apparently it's really spicy.

Bathing in the Ganges
The Ganges is a sacred river that symbolizes India, and the river itself is deified and worshipped. Hundreds of cremations take place along the Ganges in Varanasi every day, and many travelers from all over the world visit the area to see India's view of life and death.
There is a crematorium nearby. I was called out to and followed. It was the first time I had ever thought so much about death.
At the end, I was told that it would cost a lot of money for the firewood, so I was told that it was okay to refuse, even though it might be painful.
I paid it. I thought it was a good tip. I don't know if the person would pay for the firewood properly, though.

Even if you don't bathe there, you can feel something there.
I thought there were many things you wouldn't understand unless you went there.

[Varanasi] Popular lassi shop 🥛Baba Lassi
Introducing a popular lassi shop in Varanasi 🥛
《Baba Lassi》
A famous lassi shop in the old city 🫙
💞Reasons for recommendation:
It's topped with plenty of fruit, so it looks great and of course tastes delicious 😋
In India, hygiene is a concern, but I ate it with a friend and we both had no problems 🎵
You can choose from a variety of toppings, and we chose pomegranate and coconut. 100 rupees
It's not like you can drink it, it's more like yogurt. You eat it with a spoon 🥄
The staff's smiles were also wonderful 🤩
📍Location: D 21/27, Bangali Tola Rd, near Sushi Cafe, Munshi Ghat, Bangali Tola, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh 221001, India
🕰️Business hours 9:00-
*It seems to end as soon as the lassi of the day runs out.
I recommend going early.

A sacred ritual that colors the Varanasi night. Puja experience!
The atmosphere of the "Puja (Aarti)" held on the Ganges River in Varanasi is truly divine and overwhelming. The moment when the flames sway with the flow of the Ganges River, the sound of bells and mantras resound, is a spiritual experience unique to India. The road to Dashashwamedh Ghat is also full of energy, and the chaotic atmosphere of food stalls, pilgrims, and cows is also one of the attractions. The Puja itself is a ritual to offer gratitude and prayers to the Hindu gods, but the nice thing about it is that tourists can easily watch it! If you participate, it is recommended to go early and secure a place at the front where you can see it! There were also paid seats for about 500 yen. It is also fantastic to ride a boat and view it from the river, and you can enjoy it from a different angle. If you are planning to go to Varanasi, this is a spot you should definitely not miss. #Varanasi #IndiaTrip #VaranasiTrip #Spring0YenTrip Opening hours: After sunset (around 7pm in summer, around 6pm in winter)
A land of possibilities [India]
#0yentravelJanuary 2025I went to Agra, a city where you can see the evidence of the love between the emperor and his queen who spent so much money that it toppled the country, New Delhi, where you can see the history of British rule, and Varanasi, the land of the sacred river for Hindus.
I felt the passion of the people and the smell of the land with my whole body, which cannot be conveyed by photos alone! ! #TajMahal #GangesRiver #StepWell #Agra #NewDelhi #Varanasi #Jaipur

[Varanasi] Yogi Soul Guest House
Here are the hotels I stayed at in Varanasi♪
《Yogi Soul Guest House & Rooftop》
💞Reasons for recommendation:
•Great location for walking around the old town, and easy access to the Ganges River (Dashashwamedh Ghat)
•Breakfast included, choose from about 4 types! I had it twice, and both were delicious😋
•The shower room and the water area were clean and spacious
⚠️There are times when cows are fighting on the street in front of the inn! Lol (5th photo)

[Varanasi] Bright red Hindu temples
Bright red temple 《Shree Durga Mata Mandir Durgakund Varanasi Durga Temple》
This is a Hindu temple in Varanasi 🍀
There is a pond next to the temple, so you can take a beautiful photo of the temple reflected in the pond from the opposite side ✨
I got the painting on my forehead and the bracelet-like thing on my arm in the sixth photo here 🙏
💰Admission fee: Free
There are several places to pray in the temple, and the locals (?) gave me something like an offering, so I gave them a small amount as well.
*When I received the bracelet or when I had it painted.
However, some people asked for tips from Japanese people, saying things like, "I'll show you inside too." Please be careful🙏
