Just when you think you’ve seen everything London has to offer, something new pops up! If you love street art and graffiti this is for you, head on down to the south bank tunnels part of the new waterloo regeneration project. The tunnels feature floor to ceiling street art and graffiti and cover everything from the all seeing eye to SpongeBob SquarePants! It’s really impressive and the added UV lights really elevate the experience. There’s also some cool bars and restaurants including a Nando’s and a brew dog if you want to make a meal out of it. It’s a great place to walk around and is a lot quieter than the landmarks nearby so a good time to recharge your batteries . Even though the island is small, there can never be a shortage of arts in Singapore. I love how the country is dedicated to showcasing and developing their arts scene. One of my goals while staying in Singapore is to see all the murals all over the island. Depending on the area, the murals have varied themes. Gelam Gallery is an outdoor gallery showcasing murals and graffiti from local and international artists located at the back of shop houses in Muscat Street. The theme varies from cultural heritage to modern themes. This area is perfect for photos and the best thing is this is free. The fact that these are all painted at the back of shop houses adds more charm to the neighbourhood.
