Looking for a budget hotel in Sapporo during the peak winter season?
#OverseasHotel #SapporoTravel #SapporoCostEffectiveHotel
I stayed at Tokyu Stay Sapporo Odori during my winter trip to Sapporo. Even though it was peak season, the price was pretty reasonable, so I was very satisfied!!
It was close to Odori Station and Tanukikoji Shopping Street, so the location was good, and most tourist attractions were within walking distance?!?!
Above all, the fact that there was a washing machine in the room was the best!!
It was so convenient to be able to wash my clothes right away after walking around in the snow~!!
The room was warm and clean, and basic amenities like a microwave and air purifier were well-equipped!!
Overall, it was a cost-effective accommodation with a good balance of price, location, and facilities, and I would definitely stay there again next time I go to Sapporo!

No matter what anyone says, Sapporo is best enjoyed in the snowy winter!!!
As the weather gets warmer and spring comes...
The winter that I hated so much because it was so cold is now missed like a tree frog.
I miss those days when I walked around in the snow of Sapporo.
▪︎Susukino Main Street where the Nika statue was hung large...
▪︎Odori Park where the illuminations unfolded and the Christmas market was held...
▪︎Romantic Otaru where I could become the main character of a winter fairy tale...
▪︎Noboribetsu Jigokudani boiling even in the cold winter...
▪︎Old Hokkaido capital where snow fell heavily...
▪︎And Lake Toya, Sairo Observatory, Buddha's Hill...
There is no place I can leave out.
Even if it is not a special place, the scenery of the snow-covered streets and alleys, or the sight of a tram running on the snow, becomes a page of memory like a postcard and never disappears.
The flowers are pretty and the lake is pretty, but Sapporo is best enjoyed in the cold winter. It's a place where you blow on your cold hands but have a smile on your face, a place where you shiver all over but take a sip of hot ramen soup or a glass of sake, wow~ It's the happiest place in the world... It's Sapporo in winter.

Sapporo Free Travel Itinerary Recommendation~
Hokkaido Government Office (Former Hokkaido Government Office Building) in Sapporo is a famous historical landmark known for its red brick building. Built in 1888, this building is a representative example of Western-style architecture from the Meiji era, designed based on American Neo-Baroque style. It was used as the administrative center of Hokkaido at the time and is now operated as a museum that showcases the history and culture of Hokkaido.
This building is also known by the nickname 'Red Brick Government Building' and symbolizes the pioneering history of Hokkaido. As Hokkaido has a different pioneering history from mainland Japan, the Hokkaido Government Office is one of the important buildings established by the Japanese government to develop Hokkaido. Inside, there are exhibits showing the development process of Hokkaido and the lifestyle during the pioneering period, including maps, documents, and artifacts from that time.
The area around the Hokkaido Government Office offers beautiful scenery in every season. Especially in spring, cherry blossoms, in summer, lush greenery, in autumn, colorful foliage, and in winter, snowy landscapes make it a famous photo spot. Behind the building, there is a symbolic pond and garden of the former Hokkaido Government Office, making it a great place to take a leisurely stroll.
Currently, the main Hokkaido Government Office has moved to a modern building near Sapporo Station, but the Red Brick Government Building remains a cultural heritage that preserves the history of Hokkaido. For tourists visiting Sapporo, visiting the Hokkaido Government Office to experience the pioneering history and unique cultural background of Hokkaido firsthand would be a great experience.

Must-take photo spots during your winter Hokkaido trip, Part 1
Nikasan - In front of Susukino McDonald's
ㄴ The number one photo spot in Sapporo that lives up to its reputation ✨ There are a lot of people, but everyone takes pictures in a hurry, so it doesn't take as long as you think / I also took a lot of pictures on the 2nd floor of McDonald's (I couldn't go because it was past business hours 🥹🥹)
ㄴ Take pictures of Nikasan that changes colors from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple! Take pictures when the train passes by!
Nikasan - Susukino cocono 2nd floor outdoor terrace
ㄴ There were no people last year! These days, there are a few people! Specially ~ Take a picture with Nikasan! You can also take a mirror shot!
Clock tower - Outdoor on the 2nd floor of the MN building across the street 🕰️
ㄴ No one takes pictures here,, but you should definitely take a picture! It's hard to take pretty pictures at the clock tower, but they come out well here!! / Or across the street
Sapporo TV Tower (Odori Park) 🗼
ㄴ TV Tower is also a Sapporo photo spot! It's pretty even if you take a picture with the Sapporo letters! (Be careful because there are a lot of people) There are a lot of Koreans taking pictures! / Be careful not to slip~
Ferris wheel shot (Noria Ferris Wheel) 🎡
ㄴ Who rides a Ferris wheel in Sapporo?! I said that's me...! But you can see TV Tower! You can see Nika statue! It was fun! (The price is a bit expensive no matter how you think about it..)

Biei Tour Travel Destination | Reasons to go to Biei Tour even in summer
#Travel itinerary
The weather is much better than other cities in Japan because it is located at a higher latitude, and above all, you can see the green and colorful nature of Biei🌸🌷🪻🌼 Sapporo, which is like a snowy winter wonderland, and Christmas trees are nice,,, but the fact is that you can only see pretty flowers and emerald lakes during the warm season before they freeze🙄

The best izakaya in Sapporo to feel Japan

The best Sapporo izakaya to feel Japan🍻🍺
This is a robatayaki-style izakaya, and it's great because you can enjoy watching and eating various foods being grilled right in front of the customers!🫶🏻
There are theories that robatayaki originated in Sendai and theories that it originated in Kushiro, but in Hokkaido, it is said to have started in Kushiro and spread there. (I thought maybe it was named after that(?!!??..?! Does anyone know(?)!!!)
Anyway, a place where you can experience the original taste of robatayaki
It's friendly (the best place I've been to) and the taste + atmosphere are so good, I'll definitely visit again for my winter trip to Sapporo✔️

Do you know about Otaru's small late-night food stalls?
#Overseas travel
A small late-night pub in Otaru, a shop where you can eat skewered meat
A place where you can enjoy delicious skewers at a low price
The owner is also cheerful, and a place where locals come and go to drink
A space where we make memories while having small talk
A place I want to go again..💛
