During my trip to Gangneung, I took a walk around Gyeongpo Lake and Gyeongpo Beach. The path leading from the lake to the sea was absolutely stunning. The gentle sound of the waves and the breeze naturally calmed my mind. The scenery kept changing as I walked, so there was never a dull moment. The path to the beach was lively with many people walking, creating a pleasant atmosphere. There were benches scattered along the way, perfect for taking a break and enjoying the view. At sunset, the lake and sky turned a beautiful shade of red, which was truly moving. As night fell, the area lit up, revealing an entirely different landscape. The small accessory shops near the beach looked especially charming under the lights. These cozy shops added a lot of fun to the stroll. Walking in the cool night air was the perfect way to end the day. Gangneung's nighttime scenery was far more romantic and serene than I had expected. Gyeongpo Lake and Beach are undoubtedly the best walking courses, worth exploring all day long.

I planned a relaxing 2-night, 3-day stay at the hotel, focusing on enjoying breakfast and taking it easy. Although the breakfast wasn't served on the 20th floor like before, which was a bit disappointing, I still had a leisurely dining experience thanks to the breakfast open-run system. I would like to introduce Little Diner, a handmade burger shop that my friend who lives in Gangneung introduced to me while I was traveling in Gangneung ◡̈ This place sells really unique menus! They are waffle burgers and pancake burgers! 📍Yumemori Resort Yumemori, newly built in Gangneung in 24 years, is a resort with a Japanese ryokan feel. There is a small jacuzzi in the room, and there is a foot bath outdoors, so you can relax in the warm water. There are also various programs such as a kimono experience and a tea ceremony experience. In the outdoor sculpture park, you can appreciate sculptures of various themes, and in the indoor art gallery, you can see modern art pieces. #Travel itinerary For those of you looking for a place to travel domestically this coming spring, I recommend Gangneung, which is good enough for 1 night and 2 days. If you take the KTX from Seoul Station to Gangneung, you can get there in 1 hour and 30 minutes. There are many beaches in Gangneung, but I recommend Sagunjin Beach, Gyeongpo Beach, and Anmok Beach. Sagunjin Beach is famous for its rainbow terraport photo zone. Gyeongpo Beach has Sky Bay Hotel, a 5-star ocean view hotel that is great for a comfortable stay. Gyeongpodae is right in front of Sky Bay Hotel, and it takes about 10 minutes by car to Anmok Beach. Anmok Beach has a cafe street, so you can see the ocean no matter where you go. Gangneung is famous for seafood and soft tofu.
