Hong Kong Disneyland! It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from the hotel adjacent to the airport. Tickets were purchased in advance at a discount on Trip.com. You can enter by showing the QR code at the entrance. This day was a weekday, Thursday. I had seen reviews saying it was quite empty, but when I arrived around 11 am, there were quite a few people near the entrance, which was surprising. However, once inside, the attractions were quite empty. The longest wait was 30 minutes for the Frozen area. It was displayed as 50 minutes, but in reality, we only waited about 30 minutes. It seemed that everyone was lining up for the greetings, which was displayed as a 180-minute wait. For someone like me who wants to ride attractions but dislikes the long lines at Disney in Japan, it was really perfect♡ Overall, the attractions were quite intense!! By the way, drinks and food are quite expensive. Since I wanted to have dinner in the city, I left the park around 6 pm, but I was very satisfied as I was able to ride everything I wanted without needing a paid pass! I went to see Santa Mickey! Unlike last year, this year's greeting was at Fantasy Garden (FG) instead of the Annex. It was quite different from last year in that it was a semi-outdoor greeting and the greeting started in the afternoon instead of the morning. And this year's winter in Hong Kong is cold!! Last year I was able to get by with short sleeves, but this year I couldn't 😂 I'm sensitive to the cold, so even heat tech and Supaja were not enough for me 🥶 I didn't expect to enjoy a hot coffee at Starbucks in Hong Kong. Also, this year's Christmas greeting was very crowded 💦 FG is divided into two parts, the first half and the second half, but it's normal to wait for 2 hours for both, and for the second half, there are many people who wait 30 to 60 minutes after the first half's line is cut, so I think the wait time was even longer. However, the good thing about this year is that it was easy to predict which characters would be greeting! Last year's Santa Greetings were really random and unpredictable, so it was hard to predict 😓 FG also had Santa and the costumes that were in Enchantment (abbreviated as EG) last year, so I think there were more chances to see Christmas costumes than last year. FG's Santa Mickey, Goofy, and Gazebo Mickey and Minnie alternated, so it was easy to predict who would be there on the day of our stay and plan our schedule accordingly. First of all, as mentioned above, it is extremely empty. Basically, you wait 5 to 20 minutes. Even for popular attractions, the wait rarely exceeds an hour! It opened about 30 minutes earlier than the entrance time. Even this time, the line was not as long as in Tokyo. As soon as you enter the park, Mickey and Minnie will greet you from above!! This is the best production. The attractions are something like Big Thunder Mountain, but it is faster than Tokyo and very fun.
