Escape to Tenggol Coral Beach Resort, a hidden paradise nestled on the untouched shores of Tenggol Island. Surrounded by emerald waters and vibrant coral reefs, this island escape is a diver’s paradise—famous for unforgettable encounters with majestic whale sharks🐋 However, me and my friends didn’t have luck to witness the whale shark during our fundive🥲 I’ve completed my advance open water license at tenggol coral beach resort within 3days. The resort also serves 4 times of buffet meals with different of dishes every day😋 We chose dorm as our hostel and it has toilet inside the room! Total 6 person shared a dorm which is considered spacious for us! Water heater and air conditioner are provided as well. When my travel agency @nais_travel proposed to me a few resorts to choose for my Semporna vacation, instantly I gravitate towards Singamata Reef Resort. With its beautiful decorative jetty full of bougainvillea (my favourite flower) and canopy above the sea overlooking the sky that is accessible anytime of the day, it was giving a healing resort vibe to me. Maybe the timing is aligned with the stars but when I visited there’s literally nobody on the resort that can fit up to 300 people at one time🥰 And it was the best healing vacation that I ever had in such a long time! The hotel location is close to IOI City Mall, if you drive or take a grab, it only takes about 7 minutes. The exterior of the hotel looks quite ordinary, with a white & gray theme. The hotel lobby looks a bit luxurious, with a modern concept with black, white and gray theme colors & using a lot of mirrors as decoration. There is a work space, some sofas to relax & also a place to sell snacks. The check-in process went smoothly, the front office staff here are very polite and friendly. Clear information is given about the hotel's facilities, operating hours & they have recommendations for buffet packages and interesting menus at the hotel's restaurant called RBG. The facilities of this hotel are swimming pools for adults & children, gym, ballroom & EV Charging Station. During my stay, I had booked Junior Suite Room and for sure booking through Trip.com roughly around RM348 per room per night inclusive with 2 Breakfast. You can refer to the amenites or service provided on aboved room layout picture. For Breakfast, they served Buffet Style with a variety of food. The food was so delicious and tasty. My experience at the newly opened Courtyard by Marriott was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. The lobby was spacious, modern and stylishly decorated, which set the tone for the rest of my stay. I stayed in a clean, spacious room 30 level 18 and in good condition. The amenities, such as the fitness center and pool, were top-notch and made for an enjoyable stay. The location was convenient and allowed me to easily explore the area. Breakfast spread was great. The selection of breakfast was good. They serve Malaysian, Chinese and western style of food. Nice infinity pool and well equipped gym on the 8th floor. A 4Star hotel located in Bukit Bintang was built in 2011. It is located on Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah, behind Berjaya Time Square and across from it is Bukit Bintang City Centre which houses the Lalaport shopping mall. Through the Trip.com I booked an executive room (Executive Room) priced at RM195.94 and this price is without breakfast. This hotel uses an online check-in process where visitors need to fill in their personal details and after that the hotel will send a barcode. This barcode will be used at the kiosk provided during the check-in process. I arrived at the hotel at about 1.15 pm and went straight to the kiosk located in the hotel lobby. This hotel provides 2 kiosks and the registration process is quite easy and fast. In addition to the kiosk and counter, there is a cafe in the hotel lobby as well as a Starbucks coffee machine. Upon receiving the access card, I went straight to my room which is located on the 13th floor. What caught my attention in the closet was an analog weight scale (as far as I remember this is the only hotel that does not provide a digital scale). The hotel's swimming pool is located on the 3rd floor and it is in the open area. The swimming pool is directly facing Lalaport and also Berjaya Time Square. This swimming pool operates from 7 am to 8 pm. In addition to the swimming pool, on the same floor there is also a gymnasium which operates from 6 am to 10 pm. In the room, this hotel provides free toileteries, free wifi. The hotel's TV broadcast is not in HD and there are not many broadcasts. We spent our days lounging by the infinity pool, enjoying beach walks, and taking in the sunset from our private balcony. 🚇 Transportation: We opted to drive to the resort, which made for a smooth and scenic road trip. It’s easily accessible from Kuala Lumpur, about an hour’s drive away. 📷 Photo Spots: Everywhere you turn at Avani Sepang offers a perfect photo opportunity. The sunset view from the overwater villas was especially breathtaking, with the golden rays reflecting off the water. The long wooden walkways over the sea also made for some stunning, Instagram-worthy shots. 🍜 Local Cuisine: Dining at the resort was a treat. We indulged in a variety of local and international dishes, but the standout was the Malaysian cuisine, which offered a true taste of the region. The seafood was especially fresh, and the flavors of the sambal and rendang dishes were authentic and mouthwatering. 💡 Tips:The resort provides buggy service to pick you up from your villa to anywhere around the property—very convenient, especially if you’re staying in the overwater villas that stretch out far. Dataran Ibu Pertiwi is the tallest flagpole in Southeast Asia, its 99 metres tall, and with a beautiful landscape and view of its surroundings. It's worth the visit here, if you are in Kuching this is the right place to visit. The best time to visit is during the early morning and late afternoon,as before and after noon will be very hot.
