The village seats on the bank of the Dordogne River which makes this a picturesque picture in every scenario. Head to the top of the village and you will be greeted with amazing views from above, looking down into the Dordogne valley. This is also a relatively quiet town with only less than 500 people in this town alone.

There is so much to see and do and we just scratched the surface. We did a lot of walking but also used taxis and metro and took a trolley tour. The list is endless that we fitted in to such a short space of time - tour of US Capitol, Washington Monument (buy tickets ahead of time on the National Park's Website), Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, White House, Ford's Theatre (enjoyed A Christmas Carol in this quaint theatre), Union Station, National Cathedral,and endless Museums. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this fabulous city for anyone looking for a long weekend or week away - plenty to see, do and just enjoy the whole atmosphere of this capital city. Having never been to Washington D.C. I did not know what to expect. The City is beautiful, with wonderful architecture, museums and great restaurants. We stayed at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel; centrally located and we could walk to the White House. The hotel was beautiful and the service was great; better than I could have hoped for. Stayed seven nights and still did not see everything. Rode the Metro the whole time were there and it was very simple to figure out. Taiwan is a place filled not only with amazing food and Chinese desserts but also an outdoor enthusiasts destination due to the many hiking areas around taiwan. One place is called the Bojinjiashan located east of Taichung City which is approx an hour plus drive. But a warning, this hike is not going to be an easy hike as it takes approx 6-7 hours hike in total to hike up and down. Its tedious due to the constant incline up the peak, making this one hike that you have to be prepared. So there are 2 popular mountains that many tourists will visit, one is the Jungfraujoch which is the tallest mountain in Europe and another is the matterhorn where the top of the mountain has a horned shaped look. Also, there are 2 locations to view the mighty gorgeously beautiful matterhorn, where I believe the best view point is from Gornergrat itself as this place has an unobstructed view of the peak from afar. If you ask me which part of Switzerland I love, I can outright say not Zurich for sure but its either interlaken or luzern. Interlaken is more towards the nature settings with glorious mountain backdrops. Luzern city itself is filled with many historical attractions with stories too! 1 of which is the Chapel Bridge, where the bridge had a major restoration due to a big fire in 1993 which is also written as part of the story in the Chapel bridge information. Not too far off there is also the lion monument where this is a carved stone dying lion to attribute the 1792 tuileries war. There are a few popular arches where you will see many tourists and do require abit of walking and climbing, but isn't something too difficult. Rocky National Park has alot of scenic and beautiful lake with simple hikes. One of the breathtaking ones is the Sprague Lake in Colorado Rocky National Park. This place is located on the south side of Glacier Creek, about two miles south of the Hollowell turnoff. The half-mile walk around the lake is wheelchair accessible and features boardwalks and bridges with views of Flattop Mountain, hallet peak, otis peak, taylor peak and thatchtop mountain. If you are lucky, and a cloud passes by the peaks, you can snap a photo like how the photos are. The hikes here are relatively simple(30 min walk) which not much of a gradient although its surface elevation is already about 2,000m. This is simply because Colorado is a place high up in the mountains. Sprague Lake is also a very popular destination if you love fishing, there are brook, brown and rainbow trout here for fishing avids. Just tao take note, Sprague lake is open all year round and you DO NEED a pass to enter since this is under the rocky mountain national park. One of the most popular most visited attraction in the arches national park is the delicate arch. Although there are 2000 stone arches in this park, but this particular arch has become a widely recognized symbol of the state of utah and one of the most famous geologic features in the world. Many tourists will flock here during the sunset to see the colour changing rocks due to the reflection of the sun. To reach to the delicate arch is it a 4.8km round trip hike with moderately difficulty simple beacause there will be a steep incline about 800m one way up and after the hike is generally easy and rewarding. This hike is not shaded at all and can get really hot. Do some rock scrambling and get the perfect spot for the sunset. Don't be surprise, the photos attached shows many tourists during sundown. After sundown the national park gets really really dark really fast, do remember to bring your torchlight to guide you back down the arches and down to the carpark. One trip is NEVER complete if you do not visit the golden gate bridge in San Francisco. This is the most iconic, tourist attraction, being completed in 1937 for the tallest and longest suspension bridge in the world. This is named one of the 7th wonders of the world and it took 4 years to complete and ialso the most photographed bridge in the world. You have to go there on both day and night to catch the different views of the golden gate bridge. And we were just lucky to also catch a rainbow just after a short passing shower making it extra spectacular in the day. This is definitely not photoshopped! The 2 point where i took a photo was at the golden gate view point and the golden gate beach parking lot at Marine Drive. The golden gate beach parking lot at marine drive has a nice view from afar of the entire bridge, there is also a nice little park for a nice run towards another attraction at the wave organ. This running route is only about 3.8-4km long, with the view infront of you i bet it is gonna be an easy run. At the golden gate bridge there are also free walking tours twice weekly but be sure to check for more information and schedule of the walks. There is also an equator coffee at the round house with onsite exhibits about the history, science and engineering behind the bridge's construction. Denver Colorado is located at already above 10,000feet above sea level. Air can be really thin up here, so be slow and steady on the things you want to do. The view everywhere is magnificent and breathtaking, and of course really chilly as well. Mount Evans is one of the popular mountains to catch the beautiful sunset of colorado. Mount Evans is always happens to be one of the highest paved road in North America and the view with alpine lakes, massive granite walls and strands of twisted, ancient bristlecone pine takes your breath totally. If you are lucky you will also be able to spot mountain goats and bighorn sheep in the mountains. Driving on Mt evans, has to be extra cautious as the road do not have any barricade and it will be a long drop down below if not careful. Most of the scenic points here are wheel chair friendly but there are a few trials for the adventurous. Loveland Pass or some call it the continental divide is a high mountain pass in north-central Colorado, at an elevation of 11,990 feet above sea level in the Rocky Mountains of the Western United States. Many tourists stops here for the amazing and breathtaking view. There are ample amount of parking here. For people who love trekking/hiking this is also a great place to do some walk, but requires some sort of fitness. This isn't wheelchair friendly as there are steep slopes and stairs to reach up to the top of the mountain. Do take note that in winter, the road can be dangerous and scary. The twisty road is considered to be especially treacherous during the cold winter months and might be closed due to the slippery icy conditions. The most Iconic landmark, also a symbolic structure in seattle, 605-ft.-tall spire at the Seattle Center, with an observation deck & a rotating restaurant. Do make sure you plan your activities at the space needle as there are several things to do. From photo-taking, skyhigh selfie, lounge or even walk the skyrisers. Entrance fee to the space needle cost from 25USD to 38USD depending on the day and time you go. As this is a popular attraction, there might be a long queue at times, especially closer to sunset. Part of the space needle floor is made up of tilting glass benches leaning out to the city and also a glass floor for you daring people to step on it and look all the way down to the bottom. As the space needle was built in 1961, there is a long history of the tower, where it was once a radio tower, it also withstand an earthquake of 9.2 magnitude, it was also once a restaurant. The space needle has stopped rotating since the earthquake, i believe a safety concern. BUt there is much to see and do up the space needle. Spend sometime up there, get a coffee, have some food and absorb the view from the above. You can see the entire 360 of Seattle up from the tower. Snoqualmie Falls is a 268-foot waterfall in the northwest United States, located east of Seattle on the Snoqualmie River between Snoqualmie and Fall City, WA. It is one of Washington's most popular scenic attractions and is known internationally for its appearance in the cult television series Twin Peaks. This is one of the most popular scenic attractions that can receive 1.5m visitors especially in summer and spring. But winter, it feels that you are almost alone at times. The falls has 2 lookout point, 1 right at the top and the bottom closer to the falls. As this was taken during winter, the lower lookout to the falls is currently closed due to it's really icy and slippery path. This is also a very popular hiking trail with a 2.5km hike return. It is a generally easy route for many and it takes approx 45mins - 60mins to complete, it is so popular especially during summer that you will often see hikers. Coming to Snoqualmie Falls in winter feels like a winter wonderland, the view is astonishing. Alki Beach is a popular place for couples or visitors to catch the entire downtown seattle. Be it in daylight or sunset or even the night lights. Beautiful long stretch beaches with parks and running treks for people who wants to end their evening with a nice run or stroll. Alki Beach stretches for approx 4km which definitely will get you an awesome skyline view of seattle. Location(getting there): West seattle juts out into Elliot Bay directly West of downtown Seattle. This can be easily reached by car via the West Seattle Bridge. From Downtown Seattle, follow the signs and find your way to I5 South and take the exit for West Seattle. Once across the bridge, turn right onto Harbor Ave SQ and this will lead you around the tip of Duwamish Head and onto Alki Point. There are also alot of cafe's by Alki beach which is just across the road overlooking the view of Seattle Skyline. And there is also a replica of the statue of liberty which reminds people that it was once called New York - Alki. Most people like myself, get takeouts and seat by the carpark and just absorb the views, letting the sunset slowly set and the Space Needle and skyline slowly lights up. Glenelg is located in adelaode and is one of the most visited beach in adelaide. - Glenelg Breach Broadwalk - Hallet Cove - Sugar Loaf Trial Oaks Glenelg plaza pier suites is located right smack in the marina. That was where we had a nice stay overlooking the ocean with magnificent sunset view. Male sure you get the room with the ocean view. We did 2 walks which is a short drive no more than 30mins from glenrlg. Hallet Cove where its popular among locals for wedding shots due to the backdrop of stones and the colour change in the midst of sunset making it a very romantic. There are also several trial walks there and 1 specifically was the sugarloaf. It is a simple broadwalk with steps and gradual upslope with an approx route of 1.6-1.8km return. You will be able to see the unique formation of the rocks which resembles hills of sugar around the broadwalk. Oh yes ants is abundance there but it isn't sugar of course! Lastly at the lookout area at the top of thr hill, you could head down and climb onto the unique looking shape and coloured rocks for a quick photo. - South Melbourne Market - St Kilda Beach - Mt Danedong @skyhigh Restaurant A weekend well spent in melbourne. Started the day early by heading to South melbourne Market. Filled with local arts and crafts, groceries loke fresh fruits, seafood and premium meat cuts, bakeries, coffee rosters and loads of food! Be sure to to there on an empty stomach because there is so much food there that you won't be able to try esch and every stall there. Thereafter we head to St Kilda beach for the Sunday esplanade Market where there are also local arts and crafts and a slow walk by the beach enjoy the breeze. Several cafes there with great lookout into the ocean. Lastly we ended our day with a quick drive up Mt danedong to catch the sunset. Do make sure you route to sky-high and not bourke lookout. When reaching sky-high restaurant, each car is required to pay 8AUD eventhough the attractions in Mt danedong is closed and only there for the sunset. It is now privately owned. If you do want to save cost you could park down below which takes about a good 10/15min walk up.
