Although Xiamen beaches aren’t as lush as those in Hainan, you can still have a great holiday here! 🌊 Find the hidden beach by entering 黄厝海滨 Huángcuò Hâibīn, a popular scenic spot in the southern district of Siming district. I stayed at the Atour hotel and rode a shared bike here. It’s about a 15 minute ride. You can also take a DiDi or walk along the paved rode next to the beach. 🚲 This area can get pretty crowded on weekends and holidays so head further south past the Asian Gulf Hotel, and walk towards the pedestrian bridge. You’ll see large boulders that appear as if this area is blocked off, but it isn’t! 😃 Look for a cozy nook between the rocks and enjoy. Bring your towel, snacks, Bluetooth speaker, and a great book and spend the day.
