A Town Framed in Gold: Richmond’s Timeless Allure
#summervacay #July2025 #foodie #aussie
Wandering through Richmond, Tasmania feels like opening a perfectly aged novel—full of detail, silence, and soft air. This small Georgian-era town invites you to slow down and notice everything.
Start your stroll at the iconic Estella Church, where simple lines and weathered stone echo the quiet strength of its past. Just nearby, Ashmore on Bridge Street offers a different kind of charm—part boutique, part curiosity cabinet, with antiques and wares that feel handpicked for story lovers.
The streets are lined with colonial cottages, ivy-draped fences, and shaded trees that filter golden sunlight onto sandstone footpaths. Time moves differently here—not slower, just more deliberately.
Brew, Bite & Browse: The Perfect Morning at South Melbourne Market
#summervacay #July2025 #australiatrip #aussie
If Melbourne mornings had a scent, it would start at Padre Coffee. Bold, balanced, and roasted to perfection, this beloved café is a first-stop ritual for locals and market regulars. The line moves quickly, the service is sharp, and the reward is always in that first sip.
Next? A detour to Tea Drop. Elegant, aromatic blends await—perfect for slowing down the pace with a floral or spiced brew. It’s a quieter contrast to Padre’s rush, but no less refined.
Then follow your nose to the donut stand—where warm, sugar-dusted rings fly off trays and into eager hands. It’s impossible to stop at one.
With limited seating and high foot traffic, this isn’t a place to linger—it’s a place to roam, graze, and discover.
THE SECRET BEACH 🌊
This iconic beachside neighbourhood in Sydney’s east is a dynamic pocket of sun and sand, with a bustling social scene and top-notch restaurants and cafés.
This is Bondi Beach!!!
Bondi is one of Sydney’s most iconic beach suburbs – and for good reason. Even to locals, the golden sands of Bondi Beach are a slice of heaven, and its proximity to the city makes it easily accessible. Each day the sunrise brings early-morning surfers, swims in ocean pools and a local ritual of delicious coffee. As the sun sets, beachside bars come to life and shoppers browse designer boutiques. From morning to night, Bondi has it all.#historicallandmarks #australiatrip #sydney #travel #pool #sealife #oz #aussie
A Journey from Flinders Street to Hidden Gems: Melbourne City Walk
#favouriteitinerary #myitinerary #aussie #citywalk
It all began at Flinders Street Railway Station, that iconic yellow facade buzzing with the rhythm of Melbourne’s heartbeat. From there, my city walk unfolded like a love letter to urban charm. First stop: Hosier Lane, where vibrant street art turned every corner into a masterpiece. Pro tip: visit early to capture the art without the crowds.
Next, I wandered to St Kilda Road Bridge, where the Yarra River mirrored the city’s skyline, creating a picture-perfect moment. But the real magic happened at Degraves Street, Melbourne’s most famous laneway. Cobblestones underfoot, the hum of coffee machines, and the scent of freshly baked pastries—it’s a sensory delight. I sipped a flat white at Degraves Espresso Bar, watching the world go by.
This itinerary is perfect for those who crave art, coffee, and a dash of Melbourne’s unique energy. Start at Flinders Street, and let the city guide you. Every step tells a story.
A Weekend Escape to St Paul's Cathedral: Where History Meets Serenity
#favouriteitinerary #aussie #thingstodo
There’s something magical about stepping into a place where time seems to stand still. My weekend getaway to St Paul’s Cathedral in Melbourne was exactly that—a perfect blend of history, architecture, and quiet reflection. Nestled in the heart of the city, this Gothic Revival masterpiece is a must-visit for anyone craving a mix of culture and calm.
I started my day early, arriving just as the morning light streamed through the stunning stained-glass windows. Pro tip: visit during weekdays or early mornings to avoid crowds. Don’t miss the intricate wood carvings and the grand organ—it’s a feast for the eyes and soul.
Whether you’re a history buff, architecture lover, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, St Paul’s Cathedral is a gem in Melbourne’s bustling landscape.
Best of the Best
Bali, better known as Bolly by the kangaroos is undoubtedly an island paradise. Very few places on the planet have a culture as beautiful as Bali. This is the reason why it attracts millions of tourists every year. That and cheap flights from Australia.
Yoga, spirituality, nature as strong themes in Bali. For a Hindu island on the world's most populous Muslim country. The survival and existence of Bali is already a reason good enough to appreciate the strong spirit and rich cultural history of this place. An absolute favourite.#bali #aussie #beautiful #exotic #holiday #cherryblossom2024 #paradise
Melbourne Ozzie tour for passenger princesses
Philips island tour
Booked a tour on klook for my friends and i as we could not drive. The tour did not disappoint and we had tons of fun.
The order of the locations are in order of the tour.
1. Brighton Bathing Boxes
Address - Brighton beach, Victoria, Australia
Highlights - Famous brighton beach houses that locals own to keep surf items. The houses were really pretty but overall abit underwhelming.
Rating - 2/5
ps:
Its worth visiting for a photo but it is not a priority as all we saw were decorative surf houses and nothing more. This place is just photography spot.
2. Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park
Address - 550 Tyabb-Tooradin Rd, Pearcedale VIC 3912, Australia
Highlights - The kolas were amazingly cute. Got a really cute selfie with the kolas and also saw a variety of native animals.
The best part of this sanctuary is that you get to feed kangaroos and wallabies along a path.
Rating - 4.5/5
ps: i paid $25 for the kola selfie and also $$ for the food to feed the animals.
3. Nobbies center
Address:
Highlights: The view is amazing. Like actually amazing. You also get to see little penguins in the burrows and also wallabies and kangaroos along the way if you are lucky enough.
4. Philips island penguin parade
Address - 1019 Ventnor Rd, Summerlands VIC 3922, Australia
Highlights - Watching the little penguins emerge from the water, waddle their way up the slope and back to their homes was the best thing ever.
ps:
(1) The rules at the penguin parade has changed. No flash photography or photos as it has been acknowledged and scientifically proven that these actions has significantly affected the penguins. Australia has really strict animal conservation laws and the rangers are also really strict and would remove you from your seat if they catch you taking photos.
(2) Dont waste money buying expensive penguin tickets. The general tickets are enough as the penguins would walk jnto their burrows which are along the broad walk so you can see them up close.
Rating- 4/5
Overall i love the tour. The tour guide and tour company is really good, they pick you up from your selected hotel in Melbourne’s CBD and drop u off at the same location after.
the page on klook is : philips island day tour :)

Ringo the Chonkster (the highlight)
Address - 1-5 Wheat Rd, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Ambiance/Facilities - The zoo houses alot of native australian animals especially kolas, kangaroos, wombats and tasmanian devils etc.
I love the talk shows. My friends and i went to every single talk show and the trainers who gave the talk were so passionate about wild life rehabilitation. They educated us on how these animals came into their car and how we can do our part to ensure they are not endangered in the wild.
The entire zoo is located in the CBD and is also pretty small. Going during autumn or winter would be ideal so it would feel cool (the zoo is also air conditioned).
Ps: you can book on klook and visit the sea life next door and madame tussauds
Highlights - The chonky wombat was sooo adorable. My friends and i stood there for 30 mins just admiring him.
Avg. Price per Person - 45
Rating - 7.5/10

OHMYGAD KAREN
#melbournefood #foodies #aussie #karensdiner
Tried the trending restaurant from tiktok.
Got to say it was really an experience you should try. The staffs were really in character and i just started giggling along with my friends.
The restaurant had rules set so theres a line both customers and staff cant cross which (i initially did not know, and knowing put me at ease).
I played the whipped cream game and won a free shot of alcohol (all for the lols).
Honestly worth to try, the food is surprisingly super good. The burgers were so juicy and i love love the sweet potato fries.
Address - 398-400 Lygon St, Carlton VIC 3053, Australia [various outlet across all states in aussie]
Highlights - Experience getting the rudest service ever while eating delicious food. The staffs will play games with you and give sarcastic remarks along the way (all part of the act/experience)
Recommend if you can take a joke and enjoy sarcasm.
Avg. Price per Person - $20-40 (Aud)
Rating - 10/10
ps: my experience may differ from yours
The Saturday Parap Village Market - Darwin
#2023travelwish #australia #farmersmarket #weekend #foodie #aussie #weekendmarket #darwin

Marine Wildlife - Penguin Island, Perth
Nature at it’s best. Get close to marine wildlife with a trip to Penguin Island. Ferry transfer to Penguin Island before boarding the Dolphin Penguin Sea Lion Cruise. On this cruise with a guide, we were able to see many dolphins in Shoalwater bay but we might be lucky as these are dolphins swimming in the wild. Cruise also went near Seal Island so that we can spot the sea lions.
There is a feeding show at Penguin Island and you can explore the breathtaking scenery at the island before you catch the last ferry back to mainland. You can spot many silver gulls, take a leisurely walk at the beach, explore the trails and go to the highest point of the Penguin Island for the scenery.
Getting There - Ferry, Dolphin Penguin Sea Lion Cruise (Optional but highly recommended)
Attractions - Penguin, dolphin, sea lion, silver gull, scenery at Penguin island
Food & Restaurants - Pengos cafe next to Wildlife Encounters before taking ferry

Famous surf spot
Shipstern bluff is a world famous surf spot. There were many international surf competitions held there. I was hoping to spot some pro surfers during my hike but unfortunately there was none. I was told that it was low tide then, which made it unsuitable for surfing. Still, the waves were huge and came crashing onto the rocks during my time there. The views were majestic!
There are a few hiking trails there and they all start near the car park. The hike took about 3.5 hours, with some elevation and steps. Saw some furry friends and a beautiful rainbow along the way.

Exploring Melbourne's Heartbeat: A Day at Queen Victoria Market
#favouriteitinerary #thingstodo #aussie
If you're looking to immerse yourself in Melbourne's vibrant culture, Queen Victoria Market is where your adventure begins. A bustling marketplace by day, it's a treasure trove of fresh produce, gourmet treats, and unique finds. I spent the morning wandering through its historic stalls, where the air was filled with the scent of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling street food.
Don’t miss the deli section for artisan cheeses and cured meats. If you’re a foodie, grab some fresh ingredients and head to one of the nearby parks for a picnic.
Also, be sure to explore the quirky street art along the edges of the market—Melbourne’s creative spirit is everywhere.
For those wanting a slice of local life, this is the perfect spot to unwind, eat, and shop. Trust me, Queen Vic Market will steal your heart.
My day out in the Gardens
Today visited the gardens the weather was lovely, nice hot and also clear blue sky’s. The garden is very clean with art work I have never seen before in an outdoor space. I love how people in Australia take care of their country to and how polite and friendly people are. If you are in town it’s definitely worth a visit. The garden is huge you will have a good day exploring. #travel #aussie

Adelaide for Holiday? Why not?
Yes ! That was the reaction that I got before I arrive in Adelaide. Even the locals kinda suprise I am coming to Adelaide for Holiday. Usually people will choose other big cities in Australia for holiday such as Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast etc. In fact I was in Melbourne and Perth earlier and Adelaide was my last stop for this trip to Australia. I had big crush on Adelaide and I have to say I fall in LOVE ❤️ with ADELAIDE.
I dont know why maybe just my preferences but I have to say Adelaide had just right amount of attraction and fun at the same time perfect for those who love city life but not to hectic. I felt relax, transportation was superb. Easy and comprehensive especially the tram works in a single line not too much interchange so easy to understand. Payment also easy can use metro card or even bank card.
During our visit there was Fringe Festival happening throughout the month but we didnt got a chance to attend it. I love love love the Central Market, clean, many interesting items and I dont know I feel really relax being there. I had coffee and tried my first halal paella at a stall called Le Souk. The owner was really friendly and helped to explain about his famous paella.
We took a day off from the city and head to Glenelg beach by tram. Glenelg is the last station of the tram and really convenient for us because the tram station is just right beside our hotel (Grosvenor Hotel). Glenelg is really amazing beach. Beautiful and have many things to do. Many shops, restaurants, hotels and most imporrtantly stunning sunset.
If i were given a chance to choose where I would like to retire I will be happy to choose Adelaide. Very laid back peaceful city, clean, just right amount of entertainment, very convenient in term of transportation and definitely NOT BORING AT ALL !!! 🥰🥰🥰

Fitzroy Street, St Kilda.
Fitzroy is one of the main streets of the suburb of St Kilda, in this street you can appreciate a lot of commercial movement and especially the climate of the place.##InMelburnian #aussie #australia

For sunset lovers
I love sunsets so much i spent most of my time in singapore chasing them when im out (best sunsets at kallang btw). I was in sydney for holiday, and because of how clear the skies were, the sunsets were incredible. The colours were insane, like a painting right in-front of your eyes and everyday would be a different kind of painting.
Hands down the best sunsets i’ve witness is in Sydney.
