It is said that this telephone booth is a popular tourist attraction regardless of nationality. If you want to take a photo, please see the map in Figure 5! Everyone was very disciplined and stood in line at the booth. I can only say that the pressure of taking pictures was really huge. I was afraid of making others wait too long, and I was also worried that we would not be satisfied with the photos! [Wednesday, July 31, 2024 ~ Saturday, August 3, 2024] These are photos from my summer trip to London. The people were friendly, and the Buckingham Palace guard changing ceremony, various markets (Camden Market and Borough Market were especially large and delicious), London Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the London Eye, London The Lookout observation deck, Sky Garden (reservations are available every Monday at 11:00 local time, and even on the day of my visit, it was crowded and I had to wait more than 30 minutes, and the terrace closes 30 minutes before closing time), London streets, and locals were all great. The weather was cloudy and there was a brief shower, but it was rather charming and cool. I booked a place that was cheap compared to the expensive London prices, a 5-minute walk from Paddington Station, and to save on accommodation costs, I arrived at Heathrow Airport early in the morning and took a flight back home late at night, so I had a busy and fulfilling trip. There are many free places to visit and so much to see, so I think it would be better to spend 6~7 days leisurely rather than a tight 3 nights and 4 days. I want to go later in the winter when the Christmas market opens. 😆 It's a shame that I can only upload 20 photos. During my trip to the UK, I ate a lot of Western food and got tired of it, so I decided to change my itinerary and eat Chinese food~🤪 PEACOCK (Riverside Feast) is located near London Eye and Big Ben. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Waterloo Station or Westminster Station to the restaurant☺️ The biggest selling point of the restaurant must be that the seats by the window have a view of Big Ben, which is perfect for checking in! ! 😍 We came at 1pm on a weekday, there were not too many people, and the window seats were not full, but it is recommended to book in advance to ensure that you can sit in a window seat ~ 😏 As soon as I arrived at the restaurant, I felt very friendly. It was spectacular and magnificent~🫣 (there were also a lot of people😂) When taking photos with Big Ben, a red bus would pass by from time to time behind us, so we took photos of the red bus together to make it look good❤️ Next to it is the Thames River and London Eye, so of course we had to check in🤍😌 Some people here would hold red balloons as props for tourists and help them take photos. The Big Ben is undoubtedly the most famous clock tower in the world. It is 96 meters tall and is actually called Elizabeth tower to honor Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee. Big Ben reopens this year (2023) and is now accommodating visitors from all over the world. It is free however you need a reservation to go inside. We didn't go inside as we had a tight schedule so we just admired its facade outside. Withouting knowing what exactly London looks like or even what makes London so popular, London becomes one of the most mentioned cities by the people around me. After twenties years of living, I finally had a chance to visit London. I would say, that is London! London is more like a city, mixing the moederen with histories. On either side of the river, there are always ancient architecture blended with the moederen ones, especially when you see how many skyscrapers are still under construction. People across the street also lives their ways. You can see any kinds of people on the street, showing their truthiness to the public and live the way they like. Many tourists come to witness Ben during the daytime and it gets really crowded. I suggest coming at sunrise and having this area to yourself. Watch as the sun peeps past Big Ben and listen to the clock chimes every fifteen minutes. It’s a classic. London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom, is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. Westminster Bridge is one of the two most iconic London bridges in my opinion. The views across to Big Ben and parliament are stunning as you head north across the bridge. There are also fabulous views of London both sides of the bridge and a lovely view of the London Eye too as you cross the bridge to the south-side.
