After a few busy days in Yiwu, I just wanted a quiet spot — no markets, no noise. I ended up at Xiuhu Park (绣湖公园) early in the morning, and it was exactly what I needed. The park is right in the city center — near Chengzhong North Road, just a short walk from the Yiwu Museum. The lake was calm, with trees reflecting on the water like a painting. Locals were doing tai chi, feeding ducks, or just walking slowly. Everything felt peaceful, simple, and real. I sat by the water for a while, listening to a man playing a flute nearby. We didn’t speak the same language, but we shared a nod and a smile — enough to feel welcome. If you’re in Yiwu and want a break from the busy streets, Xiuhu Park is the place to pause, breathe, and enjoy a quiet moment. Jimingshan Park in Yiwu , is a place to be at night. This tourist attraction has incredible night views (comes with a lot of walking , so be prepared to walk a km up hill). it is accessible, just punch in the location on your didi app and before you know it you’ll be dropped off at the location.📍 It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes 👟, and to get there before 22:30 (before closing time ). You can see a lot of lanterns🏮everywhere during Spring festival all over China. This time I traveled to Yiwu and took these pictures at Luzhai Residence which is located in Dongyang district. As spring festival is all about being with family a lot of my friends went to their hometown to be with their family. So I decided to visit Yiwu before coming back to Shanghai to be with the rest of my friends staying in Shanghai. Walk through the night markets in Yiwu and you will discover endless stalls of street foods to satisfy your taste bud. In one of the night, we decided to sit and relaxly dine in the local way. We walked through this section of BBQ and Grilled Meats area. There are so many to choose from with some even offering some yummilicious seafood dishes. Their seating arrangement is kinda unique, all chairs and tables are in low setting, we find it quite interesting. After we have chosen the meats, veges and seafoods that we want, the boss light up the charcoal for the hotplate. There's no time limit, you can eat for as much and as long as you want. We eat, drink and chit chat while watching the crowd at the market. Just like that, time passed by so fast by the time we realised it was near midnight. #CherryBlossom2024 When we planned our trip to Yiwu in March, it was only trade centres and warehouses in our mind. But when we arrived Yiwu, it was such an unexpected surprise. The streets were full with blooming flowers that were so vibrant and beautiful. With the perfect spring weather ard 14-17 degree celcius, you feel almost nothing walking 4-5km a day! It was even a bonus with the beautiful spring flowers around you. Visiting Yiwu during spring season has an advantage, that is it helps to balance your mind between work and leisure. We went to Yiwu to try new Arabic food ,there were lots of options that we got confused but we decided to try something simple and tasty that's why we've chosen to try the Shawarma at Lamar restaurant (拉麻餐馆) , it's not very big but it's cozy and really tasty .. the service was good and fast, they served free lentil soup with some fried bread and a slice of lemon ,that was because of Ramadan I guess .. the food wasn't as expensive as other places ,it was actually very acceptable , shawarma sandwich price started from 25¥ and the rice meal with half chicken was about 68¥ , we'll try it again for sure if we travelled again to Yiwu .#lamar拉麻 #yiwu

I went to yiwu international trade market. It consists of 5 districts. 1 district consists of several floors and is interconnected from 1 building to another. 1 floor is only very spacious. Several times I got lost. Various kinds of goods are sold there, ranging from toys, bags, dolls, kitchen utensils and cutlery, accessories, household tools, woodworking tools, spare parts, hangers, hats, leggings, under wear, bedding, thumblers, stationery, cosmetic, nail art and much more. This amazing waterfall is located in Yiwu, China. 🇨🇳 - There is however, a few places to swim. The hike to the waterfall is about 30-40 minutes (depending on how fast you walk) but it wasn’t too steep or difficult. Best time to visit: I would suggest going early in the morning. Getting There - Take a didi/taxi to this address: 画坞坑村 Food: Pack some snacks and find a comfortable spot to enjoy breakfast/lunch.
