Trip Moments Recommendations
3 days in San Francisco: Day 1
Recently spent 3 days in SF and have been here many times growing up, so decided to share what I personally think are the “must visits” as a tourist in the Bay to make your trip worth it!
1. Ferry Building ⛴️
Let’s start here!
There are usually flea/farmers markets on the outside! Great for getting gifts or the usual San Francisco t-shirts. There used to be wayyyy more shops inside :( but theres like a store selling local art/creations, good if you love to support the local art scene! There’s also blue bottle coffee within the building for all you coffee lovers to sip on that hot latte and enjoy the breeze while watching the ferry boats ☕️🫶🏼
2. Pier 39 / Fisherman’s Warf 🦭
After visiting the ferry building and taking photos of it’s beautiful scenery of the sea outside, you can walk down the piers from ferry boat building or take the Muni bus (8-12min ride) to Pier 39 / Fisherman’s Warf! Here you can see the sea lions sun bathing & Alcatraz prison (the inspiration for Azkaban in HP) 🧙🏼
You can then walk down even more to just enjoy the scenery and breeze, go to the mini shops and carousel, or have a bowl of clam chowder! My favourite is Boudin’s clam chowder in sourdough bread bowl 🫶🏼
3. SF Cable Car Ride 🚠
A few more piers down til the end (about Pier 45) you can walk to the cable car terminal and ride it along SF!
It stops at places like Chinatown or other touristy spots as well! You can also drop at the very last stop for some shopping at Union Square.. If the shops are even still open (they close at like 6) 🤭
That’s all for a chill day in the Bay, stay tuned for 2 and 3!

Heineken experience in Amsterdam
A must-visit experience when you visit Amsterdam because Heineken is founded in Amsterdam! 😍 You get to see how they make their beer, learn their history too! Not only that, each person will be given 2 token for you to enjoy different Heineken beer! There’s the 0%, gold & silver! I personally prefer the gold beer, it’s thinner, smoother than the silver one! 🤣 Whole experience will take about 1.5hr.

Visit the capital of the Philippines.MANILA
🇵🇭✴️In modern times, the name " is commonly used to refer to the whole metropolitan area, the greater metropolitan area🌆, and the city proper. Metro Manila, the officially defined metropolitan area🌆, is the capital region of the Philippines🇵🇭 and includes the much larger Quezon City and Makati Central Business District. Metro Manila is big, dense, and crazy. Just when you have just started exploring, you get lost in the crowd🤯, choke on the pollution, or drown in her nagging. But, there is so much to see in many of its corners. 👀Many of these can be explored on your own.🛵🚋🚌👣
1. If Manila had a soul, you’d find it hiding inside any ancient structure in INTRAMUROS.🧱
2. every major city in the world has a Chinatown. In Manila it is BINONDO.🇨🇳
3. Ayala Museum 🔝
4.RIZAL PARK ✅
5. Explore the National Museum

A Short Weekend Get Away To KL
Thinking of a short weekend Getaway trip to KL.
Let me teach you how to,
1. Leave SINGAPORE on a 7pm/8pm coach which most likely will reach KL about 1am/2am.
2. Make sure your hotels are booked near the location of your bus drop off point in KL. I recommend Berjaya Time Square dropp off.
3. We stayed at JW Marriot since everything is walking distance from the hotel, and this includes also the bus drop off point. So that you won't need to take a taxi or get haggled by these drivers.
4. We had good seafood which includes a whole steam fish, fried mantis prawns, clams, vegetables and their very popular crab curry with Mantou at Restaurant New Kai Eng Seafood, Jalan Kenanga, 50, Jalan Merlimau, Pudu, and all these only cost less than $85Sgd!
5. For breakfast on Sunday we had a local dimsum popular among the locals only at Restoran Tuck Cheong located at 29, jalan kancil pudu. It is a corner shop with a few tables, you will be able to find it by looking at several locals gathering outside the shops.
6. Head back to Singapore on Sunday by 2/3pm to avoid the jam back at the custom, be it by coach or private car.

Best Sashimi in town 😝
#travelanywhere if you have glanced through its review, you will realized that it is one of the recommended Japanese restaurant in Kunming and it has lived up to its name. I had one of the freshest sashimi and they have mini rice don where you can finish in one mouth. It’s really good for people who just want to taste different varieties of dishes that the restaurant may offer. It is hidden at the back of the shopping mall so it might be quite hard to find. Our damage for it is around rmb205 for this meal 😋😋😋 #whattodo
Legendary 滇池 hotspot
#travelanywhere Dianchi Lake is often called the “Pearl of the Plateau” due to its stunning natural beauty. Surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery, the lake offers picturesque views and a serene environment. The lake is famous for its wintering population of black-headed gulls, which migrate from Siberia. Tourists can enjoy close-up encounters with these beautiful birds, especially during feeding times, making it a popular spot for bird watchers. You can even rent escooter to ride along the lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery 😍 #whattodo
Cafe at 4100 altitude 🥳
#travelanywhere Chilling at 云端4100咖啡 (Yunduan 4100 Café) offers a unique and enjoyable experience for its location at a high altitude, the café provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery. During peak season, you can even enjoy the falling snow while grabbing a good cup of coffee. The café’s serene and tranquil environment makes it an ideal spot for unwinding, reading, or having a quiet conversation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. 📖 #whattodo
First inTrain food services 😍
#travelanywhere Given that we choose to board an early high speed train and the ride from Shangri-La to Kunming is approximately 6 hours and hence we just order food from the food push cart and they do offer a few type of food where I get soya bean and some milk biscuit. It certainly doesn’t fill my stomach and hence I order some form of chicken rice and it doesn’t taste good at all 🙈 the train attendant also sells some local snacks on board so if you keen to try on board, you can grab some back home 👍🏻 #whattodo
Comfort stay in Kunming
#travelanywhere Hilton hotel, living up by its name, provides high-quality rooms and suites with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay. They do offer non smoking and smoking rooms. However, when we want to book, all the non smoking rooms are full and hence we need to stay in one of the smoking rooms. But to my surprise, I didn’t smell any smoky smell in the room and hence we had a pleasant stay. The location is near city centre and it offers easy access to major attractions, shopping districts, and business centers, making it convenient for both leisure and business travelers. 😍 #whattodo
Biggest Night market in Kunming
#travelanywhere The night market offers an authentic glimpse into local life and culture. Visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere, interacting with locals and experiencing their daily routines. We have some snacks along the way which cost around rmb10-20 depending on the items you ordered. It is a haven for food lovers, offering a wide range of local Yunnan cuisine, including specialty snacks, barbecues, and traditional dishes. It’s an excellent place to try new and unique flavors. #Chinatrip #whattodo

🇲🇽Merida is such a place to visit!🇲🇽
📍 The downtown area is full of charm, with its colors and beautiful historic architecture. We had the fortune of being, during a festival night and got to see traditional Mayan games, which was an incredibly special and captivating experience.
🍝Merida's food scene was also a delight; we enjoyed delicious Yucatecan cuisine at the local restaurants.
🌟🌟Overall, Merida exceeded our expectations with its rich culture, friendly locals, and memorable attractions. I can't wait to return and explore even more of this beautiful city!
