Tara Town is a small fishing village in the southern part of Saga Prefecture. On the coast of Tara, there is a "underwater torii gate" that is said to have been built about 300 years ago by the residents of the town, when an evil magistrate was imprisoned on "Okinoshima Island" off the coast of the Ariake Sea, as a sign of gratitude for being saved by the dragon god. The three-pronged vermilion torii gate is at the forefront, and a smaller torii gate is built in a straight line toward Okinoshima. At low tide, you can get close to the torii gate, but at high tide, part of the torii gate is submerged, and it is truly mystical as it is bathed in the morning and evening sun. By the way, Mini Tara Town has a catchphrase "The town where you can see the gravity of the moon" and has been certified as one of the proud heritage sites of Saga Prefecture. Then, on the land side of the torii gate, there is Oouo Shrine, which is dedicated to prayers for safe voyages and good catches. Okinotori - Oouo Shrine - Mt. When I visited Saga in the summer, I tried it for the first time and was shocked by how delicious it was, so I went back again to share this deliciousness. lol Onsen yudofu was also eaten by travelers passing through the Nagasaki Kaido during the Edo period. When boiled in Ureshino's hot spring water, which has special properties, the tofu melts and becomes fluffy and has a texture like light snow. It's a new sensation that is different from oboro tofu 🥺✨ The gentle taste that makes you feel the sweetness of soybeans is a deliciousness unique to Saga The water for the yudofu, which was transparent, gradually becomes cloudy, almost like soy milk. At the end, they add rice to make porridge, which is thick and delicious, almost like risotto.... Suyama Shrine in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture⛩ I didn't notice it when I looked up from below, but when I went up the stairs, there was a torii gate made of pottery😲!!! The lion statues were also made of pottery, and there was pottery everywhere. It's a town of pottery, as you would expect. When I went there, the leaves were falling, so the contrast between red and blue was also good✨ I bet the snow scenery in winter is also beautiful♩ And it's a mysterious shrine where the train comes in right next to it. There are no barriers, and the train goes right in front of you, really in front of you, which is a little scary🥶💦 You can also take pictures of the train tracks, which you would never be able to take pictures of normally. This guesthouse is located near Imari Station. It's about a 2-minute walk from the station. It's a dormitory, so there were only two people there on the weekday I stayed. The bed was fluffier than a hotel bed, and the futon was very warm, so I was able to sleep comfortably. One thing to note is that there is a curfew from 11pm.
