As an animal-lover, I had been waiting in anticipation for Bird Paradise to open. I visited it during its soft opening and it definitely exceeded my expectations! A place that families can consider for this June holidays! 🦅 what's new? The birds (and other animals) are housed together in 9 aviaries, which were perfectly designed to resemble the birds' area of origin - Asia, Africa, Australia and more! 🚶🏻‍♀️ You'll walk seamlessly through the aviaries through the walkways, spotting birds and interacting with the environment around you! Most importantly, you get an up-close view of the birds, just remember not to touch them or use flash photography. 🥵 Worried about the heat? One of the best attractions in KL. I brought my niece during her school holiday. Spend only Rm15 for a family of 5. The entrance has an aquarium tunnel and small nemo aquarium. Serian is the southern Sarawak gateway to everywhere. As you come up from Kuching, the first sense of Serian is a giant roundabout adorned with a giant durian. This is the compass, heading to the Indonesian border at Tebedu in one direction and then the interior in another, up past Balai Ringin and on to Sri Aman, Betong, Sibu, and the rest of the state. Serian town is set to be a stop off on the Pan-Borneo Highway, still being carved out across the length of Sarawak in a frenzy of roadworks, but when it is done, it will be a straight shot at speed up into central Sarawak. Serian has always been a rest stop, the last place to get a cold drink before the expanse of the Ulu yawned ahead or the first stop in so-called ‘civilisation’ after several days in the interior. Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort is a place that I love to go repeatedly for quick vacation because its 1-hour drive from my home, the scenery is beautiful, the room is huge and comfortable for small family of four like us and not to forget the breakfast provided is variety and scrumptious too. Back in the year 2020, when our world hit by a pandemic..all industries can't fully operated and every hotel in Malaysia make an initiative to promote with voucher selling. My siblings and I grab the voucher without any hesitation because it's totally cheap and worth buying it. RM100 per room per night.
