🏰 Time travel from Buyeo and Iksan, Baekje Historic Sites! ⏳✨
#Domestic travel
A place where you can experience the ancient culture of Baekje firsthand, the Baekje Historic Sites in Buyeo and Iksan! 📜 This is an important historic site where you can see the splendid history and culture of Baekje at a glance, and it was a special place where you could experience the lives and art of the people at that time up close.
From Gungnamji and Jeongnimsaji in Buyeo to Mireuksaji in Iksan, I was able to learn deeply about the ancient civilization of Baekje by visiting various historic sites. In particular, Mireuksaji is a representative Buddhist historic site in Baekje, and I couldn't help but be amazed by its magnificent appearance. 🏯 The historical value and Baekje spirit that can be felt here were truly special and profound.
In addition, the historic sites were filled with exhibits and relics, so I could learn how the Baekje people lived and what technologies and arts they developed. It was a time to think about the wisdom and lifestyle of the people of that time while looking at the ancient buildings and tombs. 🌳
The natural scenery around these historic sites is also really beautiful! It was a really satisfying trip because I could take a walk in a quiet atmosphere and heal by following historical sites. 🌸 It's a perfect place to leave memories because there are many great photo spots! 📸
Experience a special trip where you can feel the breath of Baekje in Buyeo and Iksan and reminisce about its splendid culture and history. I highly recommend visiting this place where you can meet history and nature at the same time! 😊

Recommended cafes to visit when traveling to Buyeo✨
This cafe with its high ceiling and large windows is my favorite cafe in Buyeo! The interior is a picture-framed landscape through the large windows, and the outside is a green yard that's great for taking a walk☺️
There are outdoor seats in the 200-pyeong yard, and the fact that the inside is also a large 130-pyeong cafe🫢
You can bring your dog to the outdoor terrace, so it would be nice for dog lovers to visit
There's also a large 600-pyeong parking lot, so you don't have to worry about parking!

Miamsa Rice Rock and the World's Largest Reclining Buddha
Miamsa. Reclining Buddha. Rice Rock.
Address: 128 Miam-gil, Seongchung-ro, Naesan-myeon, Buyeo, Chungnam.
Inquiries: 041 832 1188.
At the entrance of Miamsa, the world's largest reclining Buddha and other statues are lined up along the path. If you climb a slight slope, you will find Rice Rock next to the Daeungjeon Hall of Miamsa. According to legend, Rice Rock is a large flint rock shaped like a person. During the reign of King Mu of Baekje, an old woman named Yushi was praying for 100 days when Avalokitesvara appeared in her dream, took three grains of rice from a gourd, threw them into a crack in the rock, and ascended to the sky. From the next day, enough rice to eat for a day came out of the crack, allowing the old woman to live a peaceful life. However, one day, greed overtook her, and she poked the crack with a stick. The rice stopped coming out, and instead, dark red blood flowed. Since then, no more rice came out. People named the rock 'Rice Rock' to warn against greed and built a temple at the place where the old woman prayed, calling it Miamsa.
The 1,500-year-old Ginkgo Tree in Buyeo
Buyeo Juaam-ri Ginkgo Tree
Address: 148-1, 4 Pil, Juaam-ri, Naesan-myeon, Buyeo-gun, Chungnam
Designated as Natural Monument No. 320 in 1982. Height: 23m, Circumference: 9m.
According to legend, it was planted by Lord Maeng around 538 AD when the capital was moved to Sabi. The tree is estimated to be about 1,500 years old.
Villagers consider the tree sacred as it is believed to have protected the village from epidemics.
Whenever the Baekje, Silla, and Goryeo kingdoms fell, the tree was said to be entwined with kudzu vines, signaling the downfall. During the Goryeo period, it is said that the abbot of Seunggaksa Temple tried to use the tree's branches for the temple's main beam but died on the spot, and the temple fell into ruin.
Every January, villagers hold a ritual in front of the tree, praying for a bountiful harvest and blessings.
Next to the ginkgo tree is a 45-year-old descendant tree, planted out of concern that the old tree might die.

Chungnam Buyeo Food Tour Nationwide Makguksu Restaurant🔥
#DomesticTravel #BuyeoTravel
I really like Makguksu, so when there is a Makguksu restaurant that is famous nationwide, I usually visit it while traveling, but here,
it wasn't until the 7th and 8th time, but after 5 or 6 times, I finally succeeded🔥
Every time I went, it was closed on holidays and the business hours were short,
so I came to Buyeo on the last day or on a holiday, even on Chuseok,
but I couldn't eat it then either..😂
Anyway, this time, I came back to Buyeo from Cheongyang because of Makguksu
I even endured the inconvenience of going back to Cheongyang
The result is that it is worth trying at least once💛
The Makguksu is not that great, but the boiled pork is really amazing!
I like Chungnam cuisine, so it suits our taste well
But when I wrapped the boiled pork in Makguksu, it was really!! So I recommend this Makguksu restaurant that you should visit at least once💛

Domestic travel destinations where you can feel the leisurely river water
In Buyeo, Chungnam, the region of Baekje culture, there is a travel destination called ✨Gudreunaru Pier✨ where you can walk along the gently flowing Geumgang River and take a boat. 🥰
They say that during the Baekje period, this was an international port where ships traveling between China and Japan came and went.
Now, it is an interesting historical space as well as a place to enjoy healing and leisure! If you go to Buyeo, visit!

Jeongnimsa Temple site becomes richer with the Daebaekje Festival event✨️
Jeongnimsaji is one of the most important relics representing Baekje temples, and is said to be the central temple site of the Sabi period when Baekje moved to Buyeo. I thought about it because it had this kind of meaning, but it was a little messy because they were preparing for a performance as part of the Daebaekjejeon event.
Still, I was moved to see the Jeongnimsaji 5-story stone pagoda, which I had heard of many times. 💛
If you go into the tiled building behind the stone pagoda, you can see the Jeongnimsaji stone Buddha statue. It was a huge and wonderful Buddha statue that was well preserved, although it was partially damaged!
The museum is also free, but I have to go see the Busosanseong media art, so I'll pass! Gungnamji, Busosanseong, Buyeo Museum
All 5-10 minutes away, so it was great to go on a Buyeo cultural tour

Buyeo National Museum, a must-visit on your Buyeo travel itinerary🩵
As soon as I entered the museum, they were showing a video in the central hall. The videos were shown at different times, and luckily, the timing was right, so I got hooked for a moment and watched the video!
It was a much more wonderful screening than I thought, so I was amazed for a long time. I thought, ‘Is Baekje = Gilt-bronze Incense Burner?’💛
Before I came to Buyeo, there were a lot of stories about the Gilt-bronze Incense Burner at the Iksan Museum. I’ve been going on museum tours a lot lately, and I thought it was more meaningful than I thought. If you visit the same area two or three times, I highly recommend visiting all the museums there at least once.💛

National Buyeo Museum where you can see the authentic Baekje Gilt-bronze Incense Burner✨️
This was my second visit to Buyeo, and the first time I went to tourist sites that were good for taking pictures, so this time I wanted to properly explore Buyeo's Baekje culture, so I went to the Buyeo National Museum🩵
It's free to the public, but the quality is this good! I thought that the national museum was different, and I looked around every nook and cranny.
The Baekje Gilt-bronze Incense Burner was being exhibited at the special exhibition hall to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its discovery, so I was able to see the real Baekje Gilt-bronze Incense Burner in person. The Baekje Gilt-bronze Incense Burner, a representative cultural heritage,
I could see this everywhere I went,
but the real thing was truly a wonder! How could they make such elaborately carved and crafted incense burners back then? It's scheduled to be exhibited until February next year, so if you're traveling to Buyeo, you should definitely visit it.🩵

The common lotus has already fallen, but the Victoria lotus, called the Queen of the Night, is blooming so beautifully that it is amazing and perfectly comforts the regret of Gungnamji without lotus flowers! Especially this year, the blooming condition is so good that it is said to be popular as a photo spot.

but that somehow gave it a certain atmosphere!
It's a great place to take a walk in the fall,

Enjoy the Buyeo Cultural Heritage Festival, which is also beautiful during the day! Enjoy Busosanseong Fortress💚
About an hour before the media art performance that starts at 7 PM,
arrive at a nearby restaurant, enjoy the sunset,
and capture the atmosphere before the sun sets.
I recommend Busosanseong as a travel course. 🧡
It looks like this when it's bright, but when the night falls and the event starts,
you can see how the media art space changes,
so I definitely recommend going when it's bright and taking a walk around the area and seeing the main exhibition! If you want to see the whole thing, the course is a bit long and wide, so you should wear comfortable shoes.
Still, it's an exhibition that will leave an unforgettable impression,
so wait until night and make sure to see the main performance. 🧡

Buyeo is famous for its Baekje cultural heritage,
but every moment recreated with media art is amazing
itself! During the day, I visited the museum, Gungnamji, Jeongnimsaji, etc.
There were many parts that touched me even more🩷

goblins descend from the lobby of the National Buyeo Museum
and have fun traveling across the eight provinces and mountains.
