The must-see attraction in Barcelona #Barcelona is definitely the #Sagrada Familia!
The life-long masterpiece of architect #Gaudí,
He once said that curves belong to God.

With colorful glass windows,
Besides stunning, only stunning🤩🤩🤩
The sculptures on the exterior wall are extremely detailed, no wonder it has not been completed yet!
🗓️Itinerary: Make an online reservation at least two weeks in advance!

Sagrada Família – “The Forest and the Symphony of Light Within the Basilica”
Have you ever been to a church like this? Take a look around you. Do you notice that there are no chapels along the aisles and very few statues inside the basilica?
The main feature here is the open space. The images of saints are placed outside and tell the story of the life of Jesus. The architect designed this interior as if it were a vast forest. Nature is a vital influence in Gaudí’s work.
Pay attention to the surrounding columns. They resemble giant trees, with their tops spreading out like branches and foliage, reaching toward the ceiling. This structure is not just aesthetic—those “branches” actually support the vaulted ceiling. This solution allows the building to reach impressive heights without the external buttresses typical of medieval cathedrals. The combination of beauty and function is a defining element in Gaudí’s work.
We could describe the basilica as a Bible written in stone.

🇪🇸The world's most beautiful building under construction is Barcelona's Sagrada Familia Cathedral🇪🇸
#AustraliaFlightEvent
Nth Spain Nth Barcelona trip, the place I always go to is the masterpiece of genius architect Gaudi, Sagrada Familia Cathedral✨ Construction began in the 1880s and is still underway, but it is beautiful despite its incompleteness and is a world-class building that many people love.
I was surprised every time I went there and felt like Gaudi's breath was alive in each piece. The exterior is amazing, but the interior is also really magnificent, so I definitely recommend going inside!! Korean audio guide is also a must🥺 It's more informative if you know the history.
Gaudi's architecture is all good, but... you absolutely have to go to Sagrada:)
✔️I recommend making a reservation in advance. When I tried to make a reservation the day before my visit, there were already no tickets. In that case, if you go to the website early in the morning, you can cancel and get a ticket, so please refer to it!
✔️If you go on a tour, the guide will explain, but if you buy a ticket on your own, make sure to bring earphones. You can listen to the audio guide through the official app.

📍 La Sagrada Familia – A Breathtaking Masterpiece in Barcelona ⛪️
If there’s one place in Barcelona you cannot miss, it’s La Sagrada Familia! From the moment I arrived, I was mesmerized by its grand, intricate architecture—a true work of genius by Gaudí.
🌿 Nature-Inspired Design – Walking inside feels like stepping into a majestic forest. Towering columns branch out like trees, supporting the 172.5m-high ceiling. The fusion of natural elements, religious symbolism, and detailed craftsmanship makes this church unlike any other in the world.
🌈 A Symphony of Light & Colors – The sunlight filtering through the stained-glass windows creates a mesmerizing play of colors, filling the space with warmth and divine beauty. It’s awe-inspiring, emotional, and unforgettable.
📸 A Place to Experience, Not Just Capture – At first, I couldn’t stop taking photos, trying to preserve every detail. But I soon realized that no picture can truly capture its magic. So, I put my phone away and simply absorbed the beauty with my own eyes.
💡 Gaudí’s Vision, Centuries Ahead – Designed in the 19th century, yet so futuristic that even today’s technology struggles to complete it. It’s no surprise that La Sagrada Familia became a UNESCO World Heritage Site even before completion.
🔖 Final Verdict: A must-visit masterpiece that will leave you speechless! Whether you love architecture, art, or history, this place will expand your imagination and touch your soul. Add it to your Barcelona bucket list!

[Barcelona] The charm of Sagrada Familia✨
#OverseasTravelRecord
When you think of Spain, many people will think of [Sagrada Familia] 🥹
In this post, I will introduce the charms and points to note of Sagrada Familia, one of the charming Gaudi architectures ✨
It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance! When I visited previously, I tried to make a reservation about three days in advance, but all tickets were sold out online 💦 It is possible to get a ticket on the day, but if you want to enter for sure, you should make a reservation several weeks in advance ⚠️
Also, on my last trip, the tickets with the tower were sold out on the day, so I couldn't go up the tower 😭 On this trip, I went up the tower as revenge. To go up, take the elevator to the top in one go!! On the way back, I went down the spiral staircase like the one in the photo!
For larger luggage such as backpacks, the staff will ask you to leave them in the lockers before getting on the elevator. 🧳
You can just look at the exterior, enjoy the stained glass inside the cathedral, or climb the tower to see the exterior of Barcelona and even the detailed sculptures. There are so many ways to enjoy the Sagrada Familia, so be sure to visit. ✨

Sagrada Família, known as an unfinished World Heritage Site✨
It's one of the must-visit tourist spots when you go to Barcelona, but if you think that just seeing the exterior is enough, you definitely shouldn't🙅🏼♀️
If you don't see the inside, half of the charm is lost.
When you think of churches, you think of stained glass, but the stained glass here is truly beautiful🥹
It is the colorful stained glass that creates the mysterious scenery inside the cathedral‼︎
In ordinary churches, the stained glass is a mixture of red and blue in one stained glass, but in Sagrada Família, the red and blue are clearly separated.
According to word of mouth, if you go around evening, you can enjoy even more beautiful stained glass as the setting sun shines in! I went in first thing in the morning, but...
It was more than beautiful enough 🥹🥹❤️❤️
The floor was shining through the stained glass lit up by the sunlight, and it was mesmerizing.
Be sure to check it out from all angles 🫶🏽

Highlight of Barcelona
The Sagrada Família, Antoni Gaudí’s most iconic work, is not just a basilica. it’s an architectural marvel that mirrors the organic beauty of nature, particularly a forest. Gaudí, inspired by the #barcelona #historicallandmarks natural world, envisioned a space where visitors would feel as though they were walking through a forest of towering trees. The basilica’s columns are designed like tree trunks, branching out as they rise, supporting the ceiling much like a canopy of leaves. This effect creates a feeling of openness and light, with sunlight streaming through the stained-glass windows, casting vibrant colors across the interior, similar to the dappled light in a forest. #sagradafamilia

Day trip to Barcelona 🇪🇸

Just got back from a day trip to Barcelona, and I’m still buzzing from the experience! 🏙️🌞 This city has so much to offer, and one day just doesn’t feel like enough. I started my day at the iconic Sagrada Familia; the entrance fee was around €26, but seeing Gaudí’s masterpiece up close was worth every cent. The stained glass windows inside are absolutely mesmerizing. Next, I headed to Park Güell (entrance fee about €10) to take in the colorful mosaics and get some great views of the city. After a delicious tapas lunch in the Gothic Quarter, I wandered down La Rambla, soaking in the lively street performances and local art. The day wouldn’t have been complete without a quick stop at the beach to dip my toes in the Mediterranean. Barcelona is truly a vibrant mix of culture, art, and sunshine! #trip #Barcelona #SagradaFamilia #Gaudí #TravelSpain #MediterraneanVibes

La Sagrada Familia 🇪🇸 Barcelona Spain
Take in Gaudi's architectural vision at one of Barcelona's most incredible destinations. Must book online ticket in advance to enter😊
Definitely a must see while in Barcelona, Spain. I’d recommend doing a bit of research on the history of this Roman Catholic Church before visiting so you can grasp exactly what you are seeing and experiencing.
Allow at least two or three hours to explore. Expect lots and lots of people, the crowd can be overwhelming especially on a hot day. The views of the city from the top are breathtaking.
The Basilica is gorgeous and so beautiful you don’t even know where to look because your eyes will be darting from here to there and everywhere. Photos are nice to look at but it doesn’t compare to being inside and seeing for yourself. A truly amazing experience!
*I heard that every sunday before 8am entrance is FREE, perhaps you can try to ask the staff there if you 're staying nearby to save a bit of cost🤗

The architecture that blows your mind 🤩
Celebrating anniversary in Barcelona and the first stop is Sahara Familia. We couldn’t get inside on the first day because there were no tickets so advance reservation is highly recommended! Come by the time stated in your ticket but it will take longer time that expected to enter because of the security checks. And the.. you are inside and it’s fantastic, especially when it’s sunny outside and the sunbeams penetrate through the colorful windows. The architecture is so unique that you can stand looking at the details for unlimited amount of time. Highly recommended!
