A Day Trip to the Romantic Town of Cotswolds from London
Cotswolds, the town where most Brits dream of retiring!
After visiting, I totally understand why people want to live here. It's a beautiful, tranquil, and romantic town.
📍The Chip Shed
Grab some fish and chips, lay out a mat, and enjoy the romance. It's not frozen fish, so it's delicious! I recommend the cod.
📍Bakery on the Water
This is the most famous cafe in Cotswolds. The terrace seats inside are great for photos and the atmosphere is lovely. I recommend the scones.
Don't look at the map, just wander around. I met some beautiful horses thanks to this. Cotswolds is full of hidden gems to explore.🍀
I considered staying overnight, but a day trip is more than enough. There are many bridges in Cotswolds, so take a photo on one that you like.❤️
Cotswolds, a trip near London🏠
#For those traveling to London, I sincerely‼️ highly recommend the #Cotswolds as a travel destination near London‼️
There are many famous places near London, such as the Cotswolds, Oxford, and Bicester Village.
Since it is difficult to get to the nearby areas by public transportation, I recommend taking a tour to go to the places you want to go!
The Cotswolds is famous as a popular place for British people to retire and live in the countryside, so if you are planning a trip to London, I highly recommend visiting this rural village with a warm landscape.

📍Huffkins Burford
98 High St, Burford OX18 4QF UK
Daily 9am - 4pm (4:30pm on Saturdays only)
I heard that this is the bakery with the longest history in Coach World, the bakery I visited when I visited Cotswolds, UK. The interior was really cute and had a classic design, and they sold a lot of delicious bakery products. They also sold coffee, but we only bought bread. The bread was really delicious. In addition to bread, they also sell cute souvenirs like eco bags, so I think it would be good to stop by once when you go to Coach World. #Cotswolds #UKTravel
If you want to visit a village from a British fairy tale, this is the place.
I heard that this place, the Cotswolds, is the number one neighborhood that British people want to retire to. It's about a two-hour drive from London? You can meet this place, which was just like a fairy tale itself. It feels less like a city and more like a quaint and peaceful village from a fairy tale 🩷 When you come here, you must have afternoon tea. I enjoyed it too. I think it's worth taking the time to come from London 🥰

Stow-on-the-Wold
Rather than a trip where you have to see everything here,
I walked wherever my feet took me, felt the atmosphere of the town, took pictures of pretty places along the way,
and went in to eat somewhere that looked delicious.
The red public telephone booth that you can't miss in England, this color is so representative of England that it makes for good pictures.
The town was quiet and peaceful everywhere.
There seemed to be almost no tourists.
Bourton-on-the-Water
When you think of 'Cotswolds', the town that comes to mind is 'Bourton-on-the-Water'.
This town, also called the Venice of the Cotswolds, is quite popular with Koreans.
It's a beautiful town with a stream (Windrush River) running through the middle of the town and pretty trees and bridges around it.
It only takes 1~2 hours to walk around this town.
I think the true charm of 'Burton on the Water' is to look around the town and enjoy the endless peaceful atmosphere in this stream.
Perhaps because I saw Burton on the Water, Northrich was the most ordinary town among the three.
There was nothing memorable about the town, but walking around the unfamiliar and exotic town with my parents was healing and happy in itself.
I don't recommend Northrich as a travel course in England.
[How to get to Burton on the Water from London]
- Take the GWR (Rail) from London Paddington Station to Moreton-in-Marsh
- Take the 801 Pulhams Coaches (the bus I took) and get off at The Cotswold Academy
(It takes about 3 hours from London)
🇬🇧 How is your home a World Heritage Site?🙊 Travel to the Cotswolds in England✨
May in England, hotter than now (🤔)
I rented a car and went on a trip to the Cotswolds!
The Cotswolds are not just one village, but several villages near Oxford that are collectively called the Cotswolds :)
It's easier to understand if you think about it by region!
🩵The first village was Bourton-on-the-water
There is a green lawn along the artificial stream,
so it's perfect for a picnic while sunbathing🤍
🩵The second was Moreton-in-Marsh
I got a menu recommendation from a place where locals were lining up long,
and ordered fish and chips, beef pie, and sausages!
The customers waiting for their turn kindly explained everything to me,
and when I left the store for takeaway, they held it up to my nose so I could smell it ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ🤣
🩵The last one was Bibury! The houses in the photo - the houses with the terraced houses
All of that road and the houses are part of the National Trust
Since they are actually houses where residents live
It's good to look around while being polite!
Just don't make too much noise in front of the house or look inside the house,
and don't do things that would make you feel bad if they happened to you at my house😉
If you are staying in London for several days, I recommend going on a trip near London, and I strongly recommend the Cotswolds!!!💜

Venice of the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water
Bourton on the Water is called the Venice of the Cotswolds because there is a river in the middle of the town🏞 People look so relaxed that just looking at them heals me🙂
There is a scone restaurant called Bakery on the Water in Bourton on the Water‼️ It is so delicious that even locals visitㅎㅎ Be sure to visit Bourton on the Water with its beautiful nature🌿

Bibury, Cotswolds, a fairytale
Bibury, Cotswolds, located near London, is a peaceful place that British people want to retire and live in🙌🏻 It is said that the chairman of Chrysler wanted to take the house in the third picture because it was so pretty..ㅎㅎ It is even printed on the British passport👍🏻🤭 I used the 55.9 pound tour departing from London‼️
I happened to see a swan that day and it was so pretty🤩 I think I kept pressing the shutter while following the swanㅎㅎ That is how the first picture was born‼️This is my favorite pictureㅎㅎ Cotswolds Bibury is so pretty and beautiful that it is one of the top 2 places to travel in Europe. You should definitely visit🥰

🍃Cotswolds
- Bibury
- Bourton on the Water
- Burford
The Cotswolds are located in the south-central part of England. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours from London, and it's great to visit them together with Oxford.🤍 Cotswolds means "hill of sheep," and as you drive through the villages, you can easily see Shaun the Sheep, the sheep friends you only see in cartoons, in the wide fields next to you.🐏
It's mainly comprised of historical villages, stone villages, and gardens, and the natural scenery is also excellent, so many tourists from London visit on a nearby tour. The villages that tourists mainly tour in the Cotswolds are Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Burford. The most popular one and the one that I liked the most was Bourton-on-the-Water💙 Personally, the best moment during my trip to London was when I was on a tour of the Cotswolds. I like the leisurely natural scenery of the countryside, and the Cotswolds were just like that, and I really wanted to come here with my parents. As expected, the Cotswolds are said to be the village where the British want to live the most after retirement. Maybe that's why the house prices here are really crazy🤣 Anyway, there are quite a few places to go near London, but I personally recommend the Cotswolds!! 👍🏻

Did you know that the Cotswolds in England was voted the #1 place to live after retirement in England? As soon as I set foot in the Cotswolds, I realized why.
The beautiful and peaceful scenery that seemed like it came out of a cartoon
And the people enjoying the scenery
I felt like everyone living here was living happily without stress🌳
Everyone was friendly, not impatient, and full of laughter~~
Can I be like that too?
I sat on the riverside in the middle of the Cotswolds, spread out a mat, and ate kimbap!
I went on a Cotswolds tour, so the tour company made kimbap for me~👍👍Wow!!🍙
When my friends say they're going to England, the Cotswolds is a place I always recommend. Even if you can't go anywhere else, I tell you to definitely go to Cotswolds~ My friends who have actually been there also gave it great praise~
It's such a peaceful and beautiful place!
But I know it's very expensive to live here ㅠㅠ
I heard that many people who used to live here come to Cotswolds to live a peaceful life after retirement~ I have one more reason to succeed ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I'm running for Cotswolds!!!!🖤🖤

The prettiest place in the Cotswolds is #Burton-on-the-Water💕💕💕
The sounds of birds, water, and people talking
were so so harmonious!
I recommend spending time lying down or sitting on the lawn😉

📍Cotswolds
When I went to London, I visited Coach World, a village where British people want to live after retirement. Coach World was a really quiet and natural village with a lot of culture. Honestly, I like quiet villages like this more than the noisy 2 o'clock, so it was great for taking pictures and I could just enjoy the trip itself. #Cotswolds
