Wheh you book the Club Room at PARKROYAL on Beach Road, it comes with the club benefits and one of the benefits is access to the lounge. It’s hard to find Halal lounge in Singapore and I’m glad that the food served here is from the Ginger restaurant which is Halal certified so our Muslim friends can eat it. However, do note that they served alcoholic in the evening. As the club does not allow kids, you can take away the food from the lounge and eat it at the comfort of your room. If you’re early, get a seat near the window and you can enjoy the sunset! If you’re a light eater, this could even be your dinner! PARKROYAL on Beach Road 7500 Beach Road Singapore 199591 I love staying at PARKROYAL on Beach Road. Located just a few steps away from Kampung Glam and Arab Street, you will be surrounded with Halal food and need not to worry about feeling hungry. Other than food, there are a variety of activities too. Other than the awesome location, the room is really spacious. There is a balcony as well as a seating area where you can have your lunch or dinner without having to dirty the bed. As for the toilet, there is a bathtub and a showering area. Quite spacious too! Just got back from this great stay. We were lucky to see the sunset right at front of the hotel beach. The infinity pool was amazing, u get to see the planes taking off and landing. For those with young children the playroom is wonderful. They have a full kiddo gym! When we saw a deal for two nights in an Urban room with Collection Club privileges at @parkroyalcollectionmarinabay, we literally pounced on it. The 3D2N stay cost us $500 nett and I suspect we may never see the likes of this kinda deal for PRMB in a long while. (*this deal is long over now but if I ever see it again, I will share it! The Collection Lounge here is a must try! ) For our package we got the Urban room which is between 31-33sqm, and you get a choice of king sized or twin beds. Our room also came with a balcony, but please take care if you’re staying with kids because it doesn’t seem too child friendly. The view is nice enough from behind the full length windows! This is the most basic room category at PRMB, so there’s no Nespresso. For that, you’ll have to go up to a Collection room category, but our stay comes with club lounge benefits so no way will I be drinking the instant coffee here! The rooms have been recently refurbished after it came under the Pan Pacific Group, and got rebranded to Parkroyal Marina Bay, so the room looks fresh and airy. There’s a lot of empty space to walk about, and a long table in front of the tv if you need to do some work. It’ll be better if they provided a proper adjustable working chair. The urban room feels basic but all is good considering the price we’re paying to be in the Marina Bay area. The bed is comfy, pillows aren’t the super soft kind, and I got two good nights of sleep here. But the similarity of both hotels are targeting towards and eco friendly and arts kind of genre as you can see with the decorations of the hotels internal and externally especially the lobby areas. But waiting time estimated around 7-10 mins due to heavy traffic in this area. Public bus. There is a bustop just in front of the hotel Room 9.5/10 ⭐️ Got the room at 27th floor and the view was amazing 😍 The room just like a normal studio suite but the cleanliness is 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Facilities 9/10 ⭐️ Swimming pool Having 2 swimming pools level 1 and level 31 open from 8am to 10pm. No life guard on duty, so swim at your own risk. Level 31 pool can see Menara KL 😍 Self service laundry located at level 1 but never try since no laundry at that time. Others facilities didnt use since more time we spent outside 😂 but the wifi is super-duper fast 👍👍 Restaurant and lounge 8/10 ⭐️ Restaurant located at the lobby area and the lounge need access from inside the restaurant at level 1. Restaurant only open for breakfast. The breakfast just simple but enough for you to start the day 😉 (No picture since we rushing to another place) Nearby Attraction 10/10 ⭐️ Restaurant, food, bar and convenience store all walking distance. Same building of the hotel got 7-eleven next door of the lobby. Turn right you will see bar and club. 5 mins walking distance to Jalan Alor food street 😍 A place that you need to go with different types of food also from different country such as vietnam and thai food 😋 Along the road, massage and spa almost everywhere. 10 mins walking to Bukit Bintang where you can find a lot of Shopping Malls. Overall 8.5/10 ⭐️ Nice place, good food and amazing view. Getting There - Chinatown Mrt, Clarke Quay Mrt Attractions - Singapore River Hotels - Park Royal collection pickering Food & Restaurants - lime restaurant, Genki sushi, Song fa ba ku teh, Starbucks, coffee bean Shopping - Chinatown Point, Clarke Quay Central ( Don Don Donki) Check in took at least half an hour, we were the only one in line. Even the entry for breakfast buffet took awhile. Couldn't utilise fully the timing, we came on time but most of it was spent on waiting. Several of the items ordered wasn't served. Had to reorder again which was frustrating cause that means more waiting. Not a very good experience. Food was decent, ordered fries for room service. Room was amazing. We visited tipo Hotels - Pan pacific serviced suite Food & Restaurants - pasta at tipo, grab food delivery senor taco Shopping - Duo galleria Free upgrade of the room but downside no bath tub. The television will automatically turn on by itself in the middle of the night. Scare the shit out of us. Hot water take at least 30 minutes to start. Calls to the reception mostly got hang up but still we managed to order room service twice. Familiar with park Royal room service. Their fries are good, not their breakfast. ParkRoyal Collection at Marina Bay is one of the well known five star hotel in Singapore with good reputation. Stayed at this hotel during my birthday . It was one of my best and relaxing hotel stay . Upon check in, the room I got was exactly what I wanted . Room was super clean with amazing view overlooking the city. Bed was very comfortable and amenities provided was more than enough.Ordered the in room dining , the food was nice and generous. Everything can be done conveniently by scanning the QR code to order in room dining , booking of gym or swimming pool. Tv has various channels to watch. Hotel lobby looks very grand. I received a St. Gregory Spa Voucher for Christmas so it gave me an excuse to schedule a spacation at Parkroyal Collection Pickering 😉 (Because, when I schedule my treatments - usually in the late afternoon - I just sleep afterwards and do nothing! Haha!) I booked a month ago and availed of the following services: (1) 90-min Festive Glow (voucher not allowed; on promotion at SGD 198) (2) 75-min Thalion Facial (SGD 260, voucher allowed) There were two beds in the room (as you can see from my photos). The first one, where I had my body scrub. The second one, where I had my massage and facial. There was a cabinet where you can place your things and a drawer with lock to keep your valuables. There was also a closed shower area and a jacuzzi/whirlpool bathtub. No sauna in the spa though. Yvette (if I remember her name correctly), was my very good masseuse. Jasmine, did my facial. Kudos to these ladies, I got my much needed stress-reliever. My last massage was last quarter of last year so she really had to knead through those knots! haha. Both worked together when I was positioned face up so it’s like getting four hands massage. (Note: If you haven’t tried a four hands massage, please do!!!! It feels wonderful!!) I was asleep (again) before my facial was finished. Something lacking in this spa though - hot towels after the treatment (although my skin didn’t feel too oily after the massage) and offering of tea before or after the treatment. I think this is not usual for St. Gregory’s coz I tried the one at Parkroyal Beach Road and I don’t recall them offering me tea and hot towel as well. Either that, or I was just unfortunate not to be offered those. We stayed here in Penang to relax and chill out. The Ressort #parkroyal is directly located on the beach with a pool area, restaurant and bar area. The access to the privat beach with available sports activity during the day gives you all you need to enjoy the day. If you fancy something outside, there are lots of restaurants and bars around, you can walk there within a few minutes. All in all, pleasant stay for a few days to calm done a bit.
