I went to Mui Ne on a day tour from Nha Trang, and I really wanted to see the desert.
The first place we arrived at was .
If you go up the shallow stream for about 20 minutes, you will come across the Fairy Spring photo spot. The overall sandy bottom is soft, but there are rough and slightly painful parts here and there, and there are also some deep parts, so be careful.
There is also a swing on the way... Anyway, after passing the scenery centered around the bushes, limestone cliffs start to come into view at some point. The limestone cliffs and red dirt tombs that were eroded by weathering, and the primeval forest on the other side... They call this a small Grand Canyon, but that's a bit over the top... It's Grand, but it's small? ㅋㅋㅋ
You will definitely get pretty pictures if you go on a clear day, but if you go on a day like that, your feet will be cool and your back will sweat. But it was still worth seeing...
We also stopped by a fishing village called ... It was like... 'Oh~ people here fish on boats like that.' ㅋ
If you drive a jeep for a while, you will see countless identical scenes. Dozens of colorful jeeps are lined up against the backdrop of a long coastal road, and dozens more people are posing in front of or on top of the jeeps, and the jeep drivers are taking pictures of the people posing with their phones or cameras. The same breathtaking scenery. Hahaha I want to call this place .
Anyway, since we went there anyway, I have nothing to say. All I can do is close my eyes and pretend to be the main character...
: Finally, we arrived at the desert, or rather, the dunes. You have to pay, but you have to ride the ATV. It's too hard to walk around that desert. I recommend riding the ATV to each viewpoint. It was much steeper than the jeep you can see in the uploaded photo, and it went down the almost 90-degree sand dune quickly... If you're scared, you might get a little tired ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, it was really fun because it was fast and bumpy^^
It was a pleasant experience to step on the soft sand, and it was also a rare experience to see the exotic scenery like an oasis at the end of the desert dune.
The next stop was , but while we were moving to , it started to rain heavily... and it even got into the car... ㅠㅠ In the end, we gave up. We just went to eat.
The last stop was , which is famous for its delicious food in Mui Ne. The Southeast Asian (Vietnamese) style interior and colors are nice. When we went inside, the air conditioner was cool and comfortable, and the bathroom we went to wash our hands in was also clean and nice.
We ordered "Bruschetta with Grilled Mozzarella Cheese", "Beef Kebab", and "Chicken Kebab". I was surprised by how big it was. Compare it to the water bottle in the picture to get an idea of the size... For reference, we ate the regular size. They said that the large size is hard to hold and eat with one hand. It has a lot of meat and vegetables, so it's really good.
The kebabs are the same except for the type of meat. The outside is really crispy, but the inside is soft. The fresh vegetables and sweet sauce go well together. The 'bruschetta', which is topped with tomatoes on crispy bread and topped with melted mozzarella cheese, was also good. The salty and rich flavor of the cheese adds to the richness of the flavor, but please note that it feels a little bland.
After eating, we returned to Nha Trang. It took 7~8 hours round trip. Still, it was a trip worth investing at least one day for!!! I recommend it, Mui Ne!!! (The fact that it's a bit closer if you go from Ho Chi Minh~)
