Our trip to Tokyo Disneyland was nothing short of magical. What started as a dream destination for the kids turned into a heartwarming and unforgettable experience for us adults too. From the moment we entered, it was clear that Disneyland really knows how to bring stories to life—for all ages. We visited on a Saturday, and as expected, the crowd was overwhelming. However, with younger kids in tow, we were able to enjoy shorter queues for many of the simpler rides—thankfully avoiding the long wait times for popular attractions like Space Mountain. We spent the entire day there and stayed right up to the closing fireworks show, which was especially memorable—it was actually my first time catching the fireworks despite this being my third visit to Disneyland. The nighttime atmosphere with the lights and music was truly magical. As for food, we were pleasantly surprised. Every eatery we tried served up good food, and we made sure to try the churros, a fan favorite. We also spotted curry popcorn, though we didn’t get to try it this time. When it was time to leave, the souvenir shops were packed—so much so that we could barely move around, but that’s all part of the experience. If you’re in Tokyo with family (or even without), Tokyo Disneyland is a must-visit. My trip to Japan was not complete without visiting Tokyo Disneyland! BEFORE YOU VISIT: 🔸 Buy a ticket online or using the official Tokyo Disneyland app. On here you can also book fast passes and reserve dining experiences. 🔸 Arrive early ～ I experienced first hand just how crowded the park can get. There can be very long queues to enter the park and for the attractions inside. 🔸 Wear comfortable shoes! It’s going to be a long day of standing and walking around! 🚂 Disney in Harmony in Color! Parade ～ watching this parade was so magical and I was especially impressed with the organisation and respect of all guests! Everyone sits along the street to watch so not to block the view for anyone! The atmosphere is amazing, everyone waving and cheering for the characters as they pass by! 🐭 Meet all your favourite characters! I made time to go and meet Donald Duck and Daisy but I wish I went to find other characters! 🌟 Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade ～ This might be one of my favourite parades I’ve watched at a disney park. The happiest place on Earth? It is definitely one of the places to visit! We took a break in between as it starts ro pour but once we came back, the queue got ALOT shorter and we realized that if you want to avoid the crowd, come when its about to close! Prepare to wear proper footwear and bring a poncho along as there’s alot of walking and waiting and the poncho is for those wet rides (if its not raining). I went to Tokyo Disneysea in end October for their Halloween Trick or Trick event.. Why do I choose Disneysea over Disneyland? Well, cos of this - they had a special that adults were also allowed to dress up as characters or princesses for Halloween! So I thought ... why not? I've known that Japanese love their disney resorts alot and with this exception of being able to dress up, it would definitely be a feat. Plus yes everyone knows that Disney always go big on their decors... True to behold, it was truly a magnificent crowd at its entrance at 9am. Many adults came dressed up as their fav characters and princesses as well as some in Anime characters. And their Halloween special parade boat and the Trick or treat dance. Woah! I could totally feel the energy of the Disney crews as they tried to hype the crowd up with the dance. Now tha Disneysea Halloween event is over. Fret not, there is still the Tokyo Disney 40th Anniversary themed event and parade ongoing which will equally keep you in awe as well. Especially the show at 730pm at Mediterranean Harbour. Please please please by all means and ways make it there by 6.30pm -7pm to have a good seating/ standing spot. The charades of boats, the lightshow projected and the characters --- only 1 word : MAGNIFIQUE IT IS DEFINITELY WELL WORTH SPENDING 30MINS of your time watching it.
