🧆《Kitano Hakubaicho, Kyoto》 A corner of a house at the back of an alley. There's a sign that reminds me of a rice scoop in Miyajima☺️ There was a customer just entering the shop, so I was able to find it without getting lost😂 The interior of the shop is spacious, with a Japanese and slightly exotic atmosphere✨ For lunch, we had Chinese food made by the French owner🤤🥙✨ It seems to change every day, so it's fun to see what comes out🥰 The soup of the day was onion, fennel, and celery soup🥣✨ The plate had a variety of deli dishes made with vegetables and herbs😍 I thought there might be some flavors I didn't like, but they weren't too strong and were all delicious! But maybe want some nature with less people. or maybe want to drive in Japan too? Go to Miyama in Kyoto! it's 1-2hrs drive from the city center. Such a healing road trip. Local market Michi no Eki to get some local snacks and veggies. You can enjoy camping, hot springs, maybe swimming in the river in a month. Small rivers everywhere and Water is super clear. Also visit “kayabuki no Sato”. A small village of traditional houses with Kayabuki roof, which is special traditional technique to protect the house using straws. Interesting to see how ppl still actually living there. It’s same as Shirakawa go in Gifu prefecture (?) or Nagano prefecture(?) I forgot. I’ve wanted to visit the Shirahige Shrine every time I visited Kyoto and this time I finally did it! I was just as impressed as I expected to be. Despite it being quite a trek out of the city it is definitely worth it! I was surprised at how little people were there. 🍵《Kyoto/Kiyomizu Gojo》It's so wonderful that I don't want it to become popular, but I would like to recommend it from the bottom of my heart. It's a half-pond room on the banks of the Kamo River. It's dignified, but not stuffy. The unique atmosphere and space make you exclaim, "Wow..." when you enter the store. On the day I went, there were only people there alone, reading books or looking outside. The only sounds of the water boiling and the tea being brewed echoed, and it was a calm and luxurious time☺️ There are many types of tea, including green tea, white tea, and black tea. I chose the recommended 40-year-old tea, Tieguanyin. The first cup was brewed by the staff, and the second cup was brewed by myself. The work of brewing tea using the wonderful tea utensils was also fun, and I feel like I'll buy all the tea utensils one day... lol. I thought the taste would be a bit peculiar, but it was refreshing and very easy to drink. The refreshing morning scenery was lovely, but I think the view from the window at dusk would also be lovely, so I'd like to come in the evening next time. 3 Best Views of Japan: Amanohashidate (Amanohashidate Sand Dunes) For those who plan to visit Kyoto for 1 day, I recommend Amanohashidate. It's a bit far from Kyoto city, but the view is very beautiful. It's worth it!🧡 ⛰️There are 2 sides to go up to see the view.⛰️ The one we went to was Amanohashidate Viewland. We had to do the pose of 股のぞき (which is the pose where you look between your legs). We will see that it looks like a dragon is flying in the sky!
