Yinghanling hiking trail
#GetDiscountWithoutLuck
I wanted to see my friend's roof in Danshui, so I walked the Yinghanling hiking trail up to Guanyin Mountain. Just seeing the stairs made me feel discouraged. There was a four-legged dog sitting to welcome me. ☺️☺️ My husband tried to encourage me. "You just keep walking comfortably." Halfway through, I found a stone pillar with a message that said something like "Check-in point for losers." 😆😆 How could a brave Thai girl lose to the aunties, grandmas, and grandpas around there? Let's keep going to the top of the mountain. When I reached the top, I felt no more tired. The view was beautiful and the sky was clear. I could see Danshui, Taipei, and Linkou. It was worth the climb.
✅️It took me 2.30 hours to climb (up and down). People who are physically fitter than me would probably take less time.
✅️From the entrance to the top, I found a total of 4 AEDs. The trail is an uphill and downhill route. There are some flat roads, but very few.
✅️There are rest stops along the way and some have restrooms.
Anyone who is a trail lover, come and try climbing.

🍀For travel 🍀

Cijin Island Kaohsiung
#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
Qijin Island is a small island that is like a resort island for relaxing from the big city. It is only 11 kilometers long. 🌊
In one day, you can travel around the island. A popular activity is to rent a bicycle or scooter to travel around the island. There will be a shortcut along the beach.
To see various landmarks such as
- Kaohsiung (Cihou) Lighthouse, a lighthouse on the top of the mountain, over 100 years old, has a beautiful photo corner. From above, you can see the sea, buildings, and the air is very good. There is a coffee shop for us to sit and enjoy the view.
- Qijin Beach, a wide beach, the sand here is fine and black. The sea breeze + evening atmosphere is the best.
- Cijin Tunnel
- Coral Reef Cliff
In fact, there are windmills, giant clams, and many more on the island. I recommend coming in the afternoon and staying until the evening to get a full view of all the landmarks. As for us, we only got to see some of them. We will have to go back again because the atmosphere is very good.
How to get there 🏝️
Ⓜ️MRT Orange Line Cianjin Station, get off at Hamasen Station, Exit 1, and walk to the pier. To take the ferry to Cijin Island
There will be a ferry from 05:00-02:00. The frequency of departures varies depending on the time. The ferry fare is 30 TWD and it takes about 5-10 minutes.
🚲 Traveling on the island For convenience, it is recommended to rent an electric bicycle, which is an electric 4-wheeled bicycle that can seat 4 people for 600 TWD per hour. It is easy to drive, but you have to be careful.

SOMA, a milk tea shop with a wide selection of teas in Taipei
#VisaFreeTravel SOMA, a milk tea shop that we passed by Zhongshan at night, was not a shop that we planned at all, but we saw that there were a lot of people queuing up and it looked interesting. The front of the shop is like a glass room that we have to climb a few stairs to get to, which makes it look more interesting. We can go to the counter inside 1-2 people at a time. That is where we order what menu we want to eat. There are a lot of teas for us to choose from, whether we want clear tea or milk tea (or if you can't think of anything, just look at the menu).
After paying, we walked along the shop to wait in line for drinks. It took about 10 minutes. There are no screens or numbers for us to see the queue. We have to listen carefully to the staff say the queue number or remember the person who ordered before us because they will speak Chinese. Anyone who is going to this shop can practice memorizing simple Chinese numbers. It worked for us. 😂 The milk tea tastes good. The tea is fragrant. Each glass is 100-120 baht, if I remember correctly.

Xing Fu Tang, a must-try check-in spot in the heart of Ximending
#VisaFreeTravel Let's go to Taiwan with Xin Fu Tang, a popular milk tea shop at Ximending Night Market. It's easy to see because it's located at the intersection in the middle of the road. It's located on the corner, opposite POPMART. It stands out with bright lights, a red logo, and the smell of brown sugar wafting from afar. The highlight menu is bubble milk tea topped with sugar and chewy pearls. There are also xiao long bao to eat with it, making it a great light meal while walking around. Each costs 120 TWD.

Sisinan Village, an old military village in the shadow of Building 101
Sisinan Village Museum, also known as “Sisinan Village” (四四南村), is a cultural attraction located in Taipei’s Xinyi District, near Taipei 101, and is just a 5-minute walk from MRT Taipei 101/World Trade Center Exit 2.
Museum Highlights
• History of the Military Village: Sisinan Village was the first military village built in Taipei in 1948 to house soldiers and their families who had migrated from mainland China after the civil war. It has now been preserved and renovated into a museum that showcases the life and culture of the former military community.
• Architecture and Atmosphere: The village’s buildings still retain the style of single-story houses made of wood and local materials, with narrow walkways and a retro atmosphere that gives a sense of the simplicity of life in the past.
• Activities and Exhibitions: The area features exhibitions on the history of the military village, as well as a cafe, teahouse, and a weekend art market selling handmade and vintage goods.
• Popular Photo Spots: The village offers a great photo spot to capture Taipei 101. Especially the grassy hills and the old buildings that have been renovated.
More information
• Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (Closed on Mondays)
• Admission: Free
• Address: No. 50, Songqin St., Xinyi District, Taipei City, Taiwan

Xiangshan: Taipei's Million-Dollar Viewpoint
Xiangshan, also known as Elephant Mountain, is a famous hiking trail located in Taipei's Xinyi District. Despite its modest height of just 183 meters, this trail is highly popular for its stunning views of Taipei city and the iconic Taipei 101, especially during sunset and nighttime.
Highlights of Xiangshan:
• Hiking Trail: The trail spans approximately 1.9 kilometers from MRT Xiangshan Station and takes about 20–30 minutes to hike up. It features around 500–600 steps. Although steep, the trail is well-maintained and offers several resting spots.
• Scenic Viewpoints: The main viewpoint is the "Six Giant Rocks," a favorite spot for photography. There are also other platforms offering clear views of Taipei 101 and the cityscape.
• Best Visiting Times: Early morning or evening are ideal times to hike, avoiding heat and crowds. Sunset is particularly beautiful, providing breathtaking views.
Travel Tips:
• Getting There: Take the MRT Red Line to Xiangshan Station and exit via Exit 2. From there, walk about 10 minutes through Xiangshan Park to reach the trailhead.
• Essentials: Bring water and sun protection as the trail lacks flat areas and can be hot and humid. If hiking in the evening, carry a flashlight or a phone with a flashlight as the trail is not lit.
• Safety: The trail is open 24/7 and is generally safe. However, be cautious after rain as the steps may be slippery.
Xiangshan is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Taipei, especially photography enthusiasts and those seeking panoramic city views. Hiking here offers not only a natural experience but also a chance to admire Taipei's stunning urban landscape from above.

Xin Beitou District: Xin-Beitou is a new district of Beitou, famous for its hot springs, located just outside of Taipei City. There are many beautiful and interesting natural hot springs here, and they are not far from Taipei.
In addition to the interesting hot springs, there is also a lovely atmosphere in the city. There are shady parks along the walkways, trees along the walkways, and views of the mountains in the city.
Although it is outside the city, it is very easy to get to. You can take the BTS to get here. Another thing I would like to recommend is a small ramen shop near the hot springs. It is very delicious. The fried chicken, onsen eggs, and tofu dishes that the shop recommends are also very good. Sitting and eating on a rainy, cool day is so awesome! 🥹✨

Anping Old Fort
#GetDiscountWithoutLuck
Anping Old Fort is one of the places with a long history in Tainan, a port city in Taiwan. The Dutch or Dutch came to build this fort since 1624 or more than 300 years ago. The reason for building it is the same as building a general fort: to prevent invasion by water from enemies.
Overall, it can be said that the people involved have been able to maintain and take care of this ancient site quite well. In addition, there is a museum inside the building and there is also a 360-degree observation tower that was converted from the old tower of the fort. It may not be very high, but it offers a wide view of the city. And if anyone is tired and hungry, there are snacks and cool drinks to choose from.

Review of Taoyuan Airport with LuckyLand and souvenir zone
#Airport Review Review of Taoyuan Airport, Taiwan. Anyone who travels to Taipei usually lands at this airport. The atmosphere upon entering the country is very welcoming to tourists. The immigration officers are polite and provide fast service, without wasting any time. After leaving, get ready to continue your trip. The airport is clean and spacious. There are many restrooms.
For those who register for LuckyLand, don't forget to stop by here. We were very lucky to win a prize worth 5,000 baht, which we can use right away.
In the departure area, the airport has a variety of souvenir shops, including popular snacks, Taiwanese tea, and cute souvenirs. However, it is recommended to allow at least 2-2.30 hours before your flight because the queue for baggage scanning is quite long and shopping takes quite a while. You can walk around and relax without rushing.
