Oyanhoitambo, a town where you take the PeruRail or IncaRail to go to Aguas Caliente, also known as Machu Picchu Village :) Most tourists take a van to Oyanhoitambo on the Sacred Valley Tour, and instead of taking a van back to Cusco, they take a train to Aguas Caliente! To Machu Picchu! To go comfortably, you need to take PeruRail or IncaRail, but I chose PeruRail and took it :) The Oyanhoitambo-Machu Picchu one-way ticket costs a whopping 100,000 won, which is a huge price, but if you don't take the train, you'll have to take a 7-hour bus and a 3-hour trek, so we just took the train for both round trips with a big heart🚞 They say you can see beautiful scenery if you take it during the day, but I took it at night, so I couldn't see the scenery, and the train quality wasn't that great compared to the price,,,✨ It was a very old train, and it was my first time to make a sudden stop on a train,,^^ Still, I remember running for 1 hour and 30 minutes to Aguas Calientes with excitement about going to see Machu Picchu. A charming blue waterfall, a tourist attraction in Cusco, Peru🩵 If you take a bus from Cusco for about an hour, you will come across a town called Urcos. I recommend buying some snacks there and entering :) You can see beautiful colored mini waterfalls located here and there along with the beautiful nature. It is a short distance of about an hour round trip, but it was nice to be able to feel the mystery of nature and pretty photo spots here and there👍🏻 From Cusco, you can enjoy the clean air and dazzling nature for 5 soles for the bus fare and 7 soles for the entrance fee, a total of 12 soles!
