Thai sweet and sour cashew stir-fried chicken This dish is actually quite Chinese, the chicken fillet is slightly fried before stir-frying, paired with three-color peppers and mushrooms, slightly spicy. Stir-fried mustard greens with salted fish The savory flavor is strong, and the mustard greens have a salty fish flavour, which is very tasty. Nonki Japanese Restaurant has many branches in Cebu island or even in the Philippines if I'm not mistaken. This in particular is in Lapu-Lapu City, along airport road. However, the feels of the place is quite the same and ofcourse, very Japanese in theme. I love the set-up wherein you seemed to be squating but actually sitting down properly. It's more comfy for most of us. And, like most Japanese restaurants, they too have cubicles for a more private setting for intimate dinners or for business meetings. What happens if you mix Spanish tapas and Asian food? You will get something that pleases me very well. Tapa Asiatica is a tiny Asian restaurant near the train station of Los Boliches in Fuengirola. What makes the place special is that they have really focused non a fairly small variety (but definitely not too small!) of Asian food. Mainly Chinese, HK and Thai food including some Vietnam dishes too. But what they do. they do it well. The foods cost from only a few euros up to about 10 euros but they’re always quite small so you can have many and taste many kinds of different food. Generally the restaurant has got very good grades from the people who visit the place. I personally think the Wonton soup and the Green Curry were especially good and I think I’ll go again to taste even more of those foods. You can find the tiny restaurant (yes, it’s really small) from 23, Avenida Nuestro Padre Jesus Cautivo in Fuengirola. Taste of Thai Cuisine & Bar I know I have to give it a try when I heard the waiters speaking authentic Thai to each other. Hence, we walk in for dinner. Its just me and Mr, so there’s only so much I could order 😂 but I know I will go back for more! Thai Coffee is well roasted, not too sweetened, not dripped but definitely not the HK style ice coffee you ordered elsewhere. Minced Pork with Lettuces is my favourite! Their stir fry minced pork taste wonderful, not too soft or juicy but the flavour is rich and it’s not dry. It’s perfect on rice, so beside the lettuce, I ordered steam rice 🍚 all because of the minced pork. Pad Thai is my second favourite of the night. Right amount of oil and moist, not too dry (they’ll stick together like dough) and definitely not too wet (or it’ll be a mouthful of oils). It’s delightful with a pint of lemon and spice. Roasted Pork Jowl with papaya salad is mouthwatering. Freshness of the papaya salad is perfect as appetising. A little spicy for local taste but definitely acceptable for me Malaysian 😏 Roasted pork jowl/ neck is surprisingly tender and juicy. I’m definitely coming back for more. London’s brand new spot 👀 AD-INVITE | @engel.london and @jang.london are a bar and restaurant located in the Royal Exchange in Bank. They’ve been open about two weeks and are a gorgeous place to stop for lunch or dinner. We had: - Spicy Miso black cod (£42) - Vegetable and tofu nimono (£24) - Sushi (£24) - Fruit punch (£11) - Korean doughnut (£10) This is elevated Korean food so you won’t see a lot of the standard Korean dishes on this compact menu. There is something for everyone; the black cod was lovely and the fruit punch was refreshing. The sushi was really tasty too!
