We fetched our guests from Arrival Hall Terminal 1, and it was very convenience to reach Jumbo Seafood within walking distance. It was spacious and cosy environment, which is suitable for groups and gatherings. We had SET MEAL OF 10 for our lunch, all dishes were super nice and yummy! The Changi Airport in itself is an experience. Jewel is a shopping mall connected to Changi Airport. It has a vast variety of shops and dining options to choose from perfect for that before or after the flight retail experience. The mall houses one of the main attractions of Singapore, the Jewel Rain Vortex. The Jewel Rain Vortex is said to be the tallest indoor waterfall in the world. It's located at the Shiseido Forest Valley easily found just by looking for the atrium of the circular mall. It is a marvel to see especially accompanied by the vegetation of the forest valley and airport trains passing by it. There are lots of viewpoints scattered around the mall and even seating area at the forest valley. Seeing it at both day time and night time is a must since both are a completely different experience. At daytime, the sunlight hits the water and greens differently, the water is cool and even though noise from the crowd is inevitable, the sound of the waterfalls is for me calming. At night time, the whole shiseido forest valley and the rain vortex presents a light and sounds show at a number of timings every night. The show depends on the sponsor or if there's a themed celebration in Singapore. The feeling at night is magical as everything is glowing with lights and it's much cooler. So follow my recommendation and visit the rain vortex at both day and night. Don't forget to take photos as you wouldn't want to miss this sight. We have visited Canopy Park at Jewel Changi multiple times, but this was our first time experiencing it at night, thanks to the free tickets we received from the #TravellersWonderland campaign's lucky spin. Canopy Park is an indoor garden and recreation area located on Level 5 of Jewel Changi Airport, offering a variety of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages. Acting as a perfect rest or start spot for a family meal before embarking on the walk down the dinosaue mile. Nearby there are also showers which are pay per use and also an open air carpark to make the area readily accessible by the public. The restaurant is located at 200 Netheravon Road. It may be hidden in the East but I can assure you, you won't regret coming here. We arrived on a rainy saturday afternoon hungry and cold. The menu was presented like a newspaper! We ordered food and cocktails. Cocktails being perfect for the rainy weather is what my colleague and I have agreed upon while ordering. Haha. You wouldn't really mind waiting for the food as there's a lot to talk about in the restaurant. Every knick-knack will surely invoke a certain memory. Food arrived and we just chowed down as we were both hungry coming from the office. The food we ordered were great and so were the cocktails. After paying our bill, we then started to go around the restaurant meticulously. As there were not much people, we were able to take lots of pictures. I saw from the website that they also serve afternoon tea and beleieved the restaurant would be a great setting for hangout with friends and family. As much as the restaurant is deemed for casual dining, the restaurant would also be a perfect date night location for sure. We used the restaurant as our starting point of walking down to Changi beach while discovering lots of sights to see along the way.
