Guangzhou Most Unique Street Food
Ever heard of fish skin salad? It might sound unusual, but trust me, it’s a game-changer! This Guangzhou specialty is all about freshness, crunch, and umami flavors. Unlike crispy fried fish skin, this version is lightly blanched, giving it a delightfully bouncy and crunchy texture.
Locals love it for its refreshing taste and collagen-rich benefits—yes, beauty food! 💁♀️
📍 Where to try? Head to Chen Tian Ji (陈添记), a legendary spot in Guangzhou’s street food scene!

Things to know before visiting the Great Wall of China 🇨🇳
Planning a trip to the Great Wall of China? Here’s everything you need to know before you go! 🇨🇳
📌 Save this video for your next trip to China and follow @passportandstamps for more Asia content 🫶
🗓️ Best time to visit: The best months to visit are between March-May and September-November when the weather is milder and the crowds are smaller. Avoid the summer months if you can; it gets HOT! We visited in September, and the weather was perfect, it was a bit chilly, but around midday, it warmed up ☀️
🎟️ Cost: The entrance fee to the Mutianyu section is ¥40 (about £5). The cable car or chairlift will cost you an extra ¥140 (£15) for a return trip. If you purchase the return ticket, you can enjoy the toboggan ride down
🚠 Cable car vs. Chairlift: The cable car is enclosed, making it perfect if you’re visiting during colder months or want a more relaxed ride. The cable car opens at 8.30 AM. The chairlift, on the other hand, is open and offers stunning panoramic views on the way up. If you want to beat the crowds, we recommend the chairlift as it opens at 7.30 AM. We were the first up to the wall, and it was amazing!!
📸 Useful tip: Arrive early! The earlier you get there, the more time you’ll have to explore and enjoy the incredible views without crowds. We took the chairlift up at 7.30 AM and had the most amazing time as no one was around until 10 AM.
🏞️ Pack some water and wear comfy shoes. You’ll definitely be doing a lot of walking. Avoid buying coffee or drinks up to the wall as they are expensive. We stopped for a coffee and regretted that we paid £5 for it 🙈
⁉️ Have you visited the Great Wall of China or is it still on your bucket list? 👇

Lime & Spice in Nanjing
Our family dinner at the Southeast restaurant was a pleasant experience. Upon entering, we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff, setting a positive tone for our evening.
While perusing the menu, we noticed that several items were not available. Surprisingly, this turned out to be a fortunate twist, as the dishes we eventually selected exceeded our expectations and left us satisfied.
Specializing in Thai cuisine, the restaurant delivered a delightful array of flavors, and each dish was good. However, it's worth mentioning that a few items we were eager to try were unfortunately out of stock.
The restyaurant is situated in the Jianye district, walking distance from Jumeirah hotel. Notably, it shares its vicinity with well-known establishments such as Burger King, Starbucks and Pizza Hut, providing additional dining options in the area. Overall, our evening at the Southeast restaurant was marked by amiable service, delectable Thai cuisine, and a cozy atmosphere, despite a few menu limitations.

Our evening at Wild Roomies in Jianye district, Nanjing, was nothing short of delightful. The atmosphere exuded a chilled and enjoyable vibe, setting the tone for a relaxed dining experience.
The culinary aspect of our visit surpassed expectations. The food was not only delicious but also served promptly, adding to the overall satisfaction. Among the culinary delights, the standout dish of the evening was undeniably the burger and fries. The flavors were exceptional, leaving a lasting impression.
Considering the enjoyable ambiance, swift service, and culinary excellence, I am eager to return to Wild Roomies. It truly made for a fun and satisfying evening, and I look forward to experiencing it again.

ParcVue Hotel Residence Nanjing
ParcVue Hotel Residence Nanjing – Where impeccable service, family-friendly amenities, and a perfect location create cherished memories. Our top choice in Nanjing!
Our family had a wonderful experience during our stay at ParcVue Hotel Residence Nanjing. The staff members were not only amazing but also incredibly accommodating, ensuring we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Check-in was a breeze with a warm welcome, and the fact that the staff spoke English fluently made the process even smoother. Opting for the two-queen bedroom suite was a great decision; it offered ample space, and the provision of a crib for my daughter was a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated.
The hotel's amenities added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. The play area proved to be a hit with both my daughter and son, providing them with a fun and safe space to play. However, the true highlight for us was the inviting swimming pool, where we created lasting family memories.
Surrounding the hotel, we discovered a variety of shops and restaurants, adding to the convenience of our stay. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the metro made exploring Nanjing a breeze.
