Yongmeori Coast, located on Jeju Island’s southwest coast, is a stunning natural attraction known for its dramatic landscapes and unique rock formations. The name "Yongmeori" means "Dragon Head," as the coastal cliffs are said to resemble a dragon’s head dipping into the sea. Visitors can explore a coastal trail that leads to the edge of the cliffs, offering panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding landscapes. A small entrance fee is required. Unfortunately, the trail was closed on the day of our visit due to rough weather, but we were still able to get a glimpse of the cliffs near the entrance. Bluffer's Park is part of Scarborough Bluffs, located astride Lake Ontario. The sandy beach, boat launch, visitors' dockage, and white cliffs are some of its highlights. If the weather is good enough, you will see the azure sky, dazzling beach, peaceful lake view, sparkling water waves, and lovely animals! I was so lucky to see them all and take beautiful photos, as shown in the post! Having a picnic, taking a relaxing stroll, jogging, sitting on the shore, and listening to the sound of the waves are all activities worth doing there. If time allows, you can go for a hike on the Scarborough Bluffs Trail and explore another splendid view. Here are several friendly reminders for you. Xiamen is a cool coastal city in Fujian. Once a treaty port known to the world as Amoy, it retains much of the architecture from that time. The main attraction is Gulangyu, an island just off the coast which was a foreign concession where Europeans and Chinese who'd made fortunes abroad built comfortable villas. There is a short ferry crossing to Gulangyu directly from the Xiamen waterfront but it's only available to Xiamen residents. Tourists must go to the cruiseship terminal to take a significantly pricier and longer ferry. This is annoying, but it's still worth visiting the island.
