First-class Cantonese cuisine enjoyment - Tianyi Restaurant
Taking advantage of the less busy weeknights in Golden Mile, we went to Pacific Place for dinner. I have eaten at this restaurant several times, I think the service is excellent, the environment is excellent, and the taste is also very good 😋😋, so I chose to visit again. Unfortunately, though, this dining experience seemed to disappoint us a little😟.
We went as four people this time and found that only two and six people used the selected dinner, the rest were banquet menus, which felt a bit inflexible🤔, so we had to order two sets for two.
1️⃣ Skin suckling pig pieces with jellyfish 🥓
- The skin of the suckling pig is extremely crispy, it doesn't have a very fatty feeling 🥰
- Delicious and fragrant
- Jellyfish seasoning is lighter, a little more salty would be better 🙂
2️⃣ is the Japanese soup - walnut carrot pork bone soup 🫕
- No MSG
- Fresh and boiling hot
- There is no excessive oil on the surface, which is very good😍
3️⃣ Three treasures together every day
- This dish has three parts
- The first is the crab royal steak scallops🦀
- The strips are handled quite well, refreshing big teeth and you keep its freshness😌
- The pairing with the crab king sauce itself is quite good
- However, the sauce is too light, the crab flavor is not strong, but also can not bring the flavor to the ribbon 🙁
- The second part is the oysters raw South African fresh bacon
- The flavor is stronger than the previous layer, with a gradual effect😯
- The bacon sauce is very thick, very juicy🤑
- However, the bacon tastes very bitter, not the fruit of the peel, but really bitter, for unknown reasons🤐
- The third part is the whole northern mushroom with orchid 🥦
- The grassy taste of broccoli has not gone, therefore failed to absorb the taste of the juice🥴
- Mushrooms play normally
4️⃣Garlic Angus beef fillet🐂
- We ordered two meals that were fried on a plate without informing us
- The portion is suspected of cutting corners, this approach makes us feel very disappointed🤕
- The quality of the beef fillet itself is OK, but the taste is too single🤥
- A little less delicious, the whole plate has two words "fatty" 🤥
- Can't highlight the beef flavor at all, no standard to speak of 😔
5️⃣ Fried rice with dried shrimp and egg white 🍚
- Too ordinary, not fried enough
- Not enough flavor
- The worst is that the dried shrimp fried to burnt, very tough and hard, eat the taste is not good at all😥
6️⃣ Mangosteen and desserts 🍨🥭
- The mango and sweet potato is well blended, I love it🤩
- It would be better if the pulp could be a little more
- While the sesame cake tastes very light, the sesame cake is normal😀
Overall, the environment of this restaurant is absolutely excellent🥰, listening to my favorite jazz🎼 all the way, enjoying quality service. There is absolutely no need for you to worry about eating here, the waiter will take care of everything for you 🤵🏻; they will always pay attention to what you need, turn your head and they will come over 😄. However, in terms of food quality, this time I think it's worse 🙁, maybe the chef is on vacation or some other reason, I hope I can return to the standard next time.
The bill was $2046 including 10% service charge, and the average consumption was $511 per person, medium to high price range
