We both like to go to cafes. This time we went to this darkly decorated cafe in Mong Kok. I visited a few years ago and tried their coffee, which was of good quality. This time we tried their food. The two of us ordered 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, 1 plate of risotto, and 1 dessert. The cheese tomato baked meatballs were plentiful, with about 10 meatballs on a plate. The whole plate was covered in tomato sauce 🥫, topped with sinful stretchy cheese 🧀. Goes great with rice/pasta🍝/bread! The Buffalo City chicken wings had slightly crispy skin but the meat remained juicy, not too dry. The sauce was well-balanced, not too sour. And the portion was just right, not too much to make the wings soggy. Like the traditional way, it came with celery and carrot sticks, just missing the blue cheese sauce. The homemade smoked pork belly with dark beer risotto was of the right texture. The dark beer flavor was rich. The pork belly was sliced thin, not too greasy. I liked the addition of green apple 🍏 chunks, which made the overall taste fresher. The apple crumble French mille-feuille was flaky. You could see the layers in the mille-feuille. The crumble was fragrant and crunchy. The vanilla ice cream 🍦 and custard cream were smooth and fragrant.
