🏨 Shiba Park Hotel – A Tranquil and Classy Retreat in Central Tokyo
Just returned from Tokyo and had the pleasure of staying at Shiba Park Hotel, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish.
Check-in was smooth and stylish, with each counter offering a seat – a rare touch that made the process feel both personal and luxurious. There was even a Nespresso machine at the front desk, which added a nice welcome perk after a long journey.
We stayed in a triple room, and by Tokyo standards, it was spacious. Each bed was generously sized, more like a super single, and the room felt freshly renovated. The interior had a beautiful wood finish, giving off a peaceful, zen-like atmosphere that really made it feel like a calm retreat from the city.
The hotel has a rich history, and that legacy is reflected in its unique design and the library-style touches throughout the building, with books thoughtfully placed around communal areas. A charming nod to the hotel’s literary heritage.
Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. Multiple train stations are within walking distance – including one that connects directly to Haneda Airport. It’s also close to Tokyo Tower, which we strolled to one evening. The surrounding area is an office district, so nights are quiet and restful. Plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby too.
The staff were consistently warm and helpful, always ready with a smile or suggestion.
In all, Shiba Park Hotel delivered on comfort, aesthetics, and location. A superb choice for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a refined, peaceful base in Tokyo.
Highly recommended.
