Experience a hot and chilly day in Sterling Range National Park by hiking the Bluff Knoll! It’s a 3-4 hr hike up and down and grade 4 difficulty! I didn’t plan and prepared for this hike! It was actually part of a staycation deal that we signed up with a tour group. Situated among the rice 🌾 fields, we had two options to leave behind our bags 🛍️ so porters will help to bring things up or, we sweat it out to make this worth it 😎. We chose the second, and hiked with some nice view of the field. The hotel was nice with all the amenities, but as it is summer and bit of moisture there; 🐝 insects problem was there. Again, we went for a evening 🥾 hike into seven head dragon trail (yes, that was the name 😉) only to meet a wriggling stranger with hiss sound 🐍. It is seemingly almost every tourist attraction in China has a historic 🎎 incidence or belief attached to it. One such is this Heaven's gate (literal translation of 天门山), where you can see a hole door-like 🚪 whole that paves the way to heaven. It's naturally formed and provides a gateway to connect two different peaks. Near to this scenic area, also there is 99 bends road which adding another 9 lead to 999 which is considered lucky 🍀 during Taoist times. To complete this scenic area, you have to mix it up with cable car ride and hiking 🥾 involved; otherwise you'll be too tired to enjoy the view. The hike to the Heaven's gate takes about 30 minutes, a steep one, but totally worth it and you're walking in the Stairways to Heaven🧧 so you better do it though haha. #chinatravel #hikefreak #summervacation#hikingtrails

What could be the most exciting thing of hiking during summer ? I would say going to a cold place and get to see some snowy 🏔️ mountains. Along with that if you get a chance to see some vibrant base camp sites 🎪 why not !! After landing on Dehradun, we took a car straight to Sankri (a quite long journey though) and reached the starting point of our hike. With all the hiking materials check list being ticked and confirmed; our journey started 🥾 hiking towards the Kedarkantha base camp site which took around 4 hours to reach. Here you can see so amazing vibrant tents 🏕 raised amidst the white snow; that gives a complete festive mood. We had a fun evening party and then continued our journey to the summit the next day. This is one of the most beautiful base camp sites I've been part of. We all know, China is famous for its tea 🍵; what if I say I had an opportunity to taste the best of them. A 40 minutes drive from Hangzhou station to the outskirts of the city take you to Longjing village. We actually were doing 🥾 hiking there but the overall experience turned out to be knowing the greatness of tea in there. The Longjing tea or the dragon well tea (龙井茶）is the best green tea 💚 in China. We started at the National tea museum spend only very less time there, then moved on to our hiking path shililangdang (十里琅珰) . On the way, you can get immersed in the amazing fragrance💆 and definitely more amazing places with the view. They even call this tea as the Golden card of Hangzhou due to the fertility of the mountains 🏞️. It's quite a 3 hour hike in a relaxed way !! Be ready to get your calf muscles trained, as it is going to be a 2.5 hours hike 🥾down the hill and the only leg muscle that will support will need immense strength. Yes, this time one way up the mountain 🏞️we took the cable car; but hiking down we were ready to give a try. Starting from turtle🐢 peak, we hiked down to Lotus pavilion at first which will take you some half an hour. If you’re strong enough mentally and physically you can go to reach the tallest peak in Huangshan(lotus peak), otherwise just look the top from bottom and move on to Greeting guests pine. Near to this spot there is an amazing valley view spot and also there are some grocery stores. After you reach the Halfway temple 🛕 it is only downwards, and I remember there was only one store on the way before we hit the bottom. Always lingering clouds and mist over the grass, took us to Wugong Mount located in 📍 Jiangxi province. Although I ain't a hardcore hiker, I really went on to do this just for the perfect meadows that's spread over the whole area. If only I had some swiss cattles 🐮 I can grow them very healthy here 😝 such is the lush green 💚 grass. The hiking 🥾 path started at Shenzi village, and as a first milestone we set to reach the Golden summit also called as Bai he peak. Then few of us decided to go easy on our body😋 and took the ropeway to Stone drum temple. Have proper rainy clothes and food packed for yourself. #jiangxitravel #hikefreak #summervacation#hikingtrails
