Dining in Macau | Yue Long Heen | Chef's lunch at Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant
During this #Macau trip, Wow wanted to try a Michelin restaurant. Since we were staying at the W Hotel in Studio City and the concert was also in Studio City, we went to dine at " #岳龙轩 " on the second floor of Studio City Superstar Club and made a reservation in advance through the hotel website.
After checking in and storing your luggage, sit down in the side hall and wait to be seated while looking at the menu.
In addition to the Michelin star, Yue Long Xuan has also won many other awards.
Among more than 20 kinds of tea, we chose Yuelong Seasonal Tea (MOP 58 per person) for the "welcome tea", which has a more elegant name called "National Beauty and Heavenly Fragrance".
For food, we ordered the chef’s lunch (MOP 668 per person).
After we ordered, the staff brought us three homemade sauces, namely "Yellow Lantern Chili Sauce", "XO Sauce" and "Black Bean Chili Oil". The "Yellow Lantern Chili Sauce" was the spiciest, and the waffle successfully passed the challenge!
Before the chef's lunch, we had the appetizer "Apple Yuzu Plum Wine Jelly". The apple balls were sweet and refreshing, and the flavor of the plum wine slowly seeped out, giving a refreshing feeling.
The chef's lunch begins with a dim sum platter, and the staff recommends eating from right to left.
The lobster and goldfish dumplings have a nice shape, the dumpling skin is thin enough so that you can see the snow-white lobster meat. The lobster soup has just the right consistency and is both beautiful and delicious.
The red rice dragon emperor rice rolls have an attractive color, rich taste, and the fried fillings are not greasy at all.
The Honey Black Pork Barbecued Pork Pastry is still warm when eaten. The barbecued pork is cut into fine pieces, which makes it look more delicate and exquisite. The pastry is made very well, with distinct layers, crispy and not greasy. It is a must-try recommendation.
The food was presented with great care.
The appearance of the stir-fried scallops with sturgeon roe and hibiscus is beyond imagination, and the taste and texture are very rich.
The skin of the braised crispy suckling pig is thin and crispy, but the suckling pig is a little salty.
The broth of the Matsutake and Fish Maw Soup Dumplings is clear, fresh and rich. There is a piece of fish maw and two pieces of Matsutake on the outside of the dumplings, and crab meat, sea cucumber, scallops and shrimp meat inside the dumplings. It is very filling. It is recommended to taste the original flavor first and then add some red vinegar.
I don’t like spicy waffles, so the pepper and sesame sauce of the crispy unicorn fish fillet was replaced with scallion sauce. The "maple leaf" is dried beetroot, and it is named "unicorn" because the fish scales are retained for frying. The fish fillet is made from bamboo fish, which has tender, sweet and fresh meat. It is fried until very crispy, not greasy, and is really delicious.
The truffle abalone and chicken rice continues the delicious taste. The abalone is tender and the truffle slices add a unique aroma to the already flavorful rice. The crispy rice makes the appearance and taste even better. The only thing that detracts from it is that the bowl is not grand enough.
The mango and mango sago has moderate sweetness and a prominent mango aroma. The puff pastry of the bird's nest egg tart continues to be excellent, with sufficient bird's nest and the egg batter is smooth and not sweet.
After the meal, some delicious snacks were served. The staff told her to eat first and come back to introduce them later, but she never came back. The two pink bunnies in the front are very eye-catching. As for taste, Waffles likes the sesame roll hiding behind the sign the most. I personally recommend trying the "Chocolate Crispy Ice Cream Ball" first, the chocolate crust is super crispy.
After the delicious meal, there was another surprise. The staff brought a bouquet of beautiful roses. It turned out that Melco Lifestyle WeChat members who booked Melco’s designated restaurants to celebrate Mother’s Day from May 11th to 12th could receive the gift.
