I’ve been to Sanya thousands of times and definitely will go more! This time I’ve visited Tianya district📍, first of all I would say that the location is getting more and more popular among tourists. The new homestays are built here extremely fast , as well as other necessary infrastructure like coffee shops, restaurants☕️🥗. It’s still not as luxury as Yalong bay but this district is prosperous and probably soon the demand from tourists to stay here will be very significant. Summer is approaching. If you want to experience the island life in Taiwan, Xiao Liuqiu is the place to go. I love being in the ocean and my favorite thing to do here is experiencing the SUP (Standup Paddle-boarding) and swimming in the ocean. 🌊SUP experience👙 It’s beginner friendly. Standing on the board makes me feel so free. You can even do yoga on the board to challenge your ability to balance. Actually you just need to sync yourself with the ocean. Feel the wave of the ocean and you can balance on it easily! Shimen District belongs to New Taipei City and is located at 121.6 degrees east longitude and 25.3 degrees north latitude. It is the northernmost township in Taiwan. It is bordered by Jinshan District to the east, Sanzhi District to the west, Zhuzihu in Shilin District, Taipei City to the south, and the Taiwan Strait to the north, facing Fujian City across the sea. It covers an area of ​​51.2645 square kilometers. The Shimen Cave here was formed by sea erosion and was designated as a natural monument. Since there is a small hill on the coast of Shimen District with a large hole in the middle that looks like an arch, the old name was inherited and named "Shimen District" after Taiwan was liberated during World War II. You can also go to the nearby Shimen Eighteen Kings Temple: located on the north coast line between Jinshan and Shimen Cave, it is very popular and there are rumors that divination and prayers are effective.
