Riyue Bay is located in Wanning, Hainan island. It offers the best vibes on the island! The area has a relaxed, cool and hippie style atmosphere, perfect for those who like a laid-back lifestyle. A trip to Yerong beach is one of the most exciting adventures that happened to us in Hainan! It is a huge beach, that seems to be endless, with a fabulous white sand! It is quite wild, or you can say 'undeveloped', but for us it was an obvious advantage. There are nearly no people at all, except several fishermen with their nets. No one will disturb you here, and you can swim whenever you want! 🚌🚎🚕 It is not that easy to get here, even if you'll take a taxi to the beach, it would be a problem to find a taxi that will bring you back to the city. The road is quite bumpy and dusty as well, so even though you can always rent a scooter, we would definitely recommend to rent a car for several days. You can use sharing service immediately upon arrival to Baimajin train station (白马井站）. 🍔🍟🥪 There are no cafes or restaurants on this beach, so be prepared to take some food and drinks with you. It is a great place to have a picnic with amazing view! 🌅🏝🏖 Absolutely surreal place, as such beaches are always overcrowded in China! Coconut trees and tents guarantee the shade needed if you’re concerned about roasting in the scorching sun during the day 🌴 The menu is mostly western with some asian food options. It also has a variety of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks at very affordable prices. We went there several times for lunch and dinner. We were looking forward to go back to this burgershop again this year after stumbling on it last year. The menu has more choices of food and side dishes. They now have vegetarian choices if you don’t eat/like beef. While my friends vouched for eating the best burger they ever had, my vegetarian hotdog was also great 😁 I ordered a cucumber tonic water which was so refreshing 😅 They also offer cocktails, beers and soft drinks. My friend’s potato wedges were also yummy. Prices are very decent portion wise 👍🏼 My drink and hotdog with a side mini salad 🥗 costed me 88¥. The burgershop also sells summer clothes, bags, sunglasses and a bunch of other accessories. Attractions - good beaches for surfing 🏄🏾‍♀️, remote and peaceful environment Food & Restaurants - kaya, tempo We spent a good weekend in wanning. I highly recommend “kaya” for food and drinks by day/night and a cool spot to hangout at in the evening as well. Holiday beach, 假日海滩 is the most popular with a vast and continuous coastline in Haikou. There are many food stalls and shops along the coast selling local dishes, desserts and snacks. There’s also live music near the food stalls at night. Coconut water sellers stroll along the beach and prices usually range from 10-12¥. There’s also this gigantic BBQ area which gets swamped at night. The city skyline can be admired from the beach.
