A stylish LV visual feast: LV Visionary Journeys
#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025
Louis Vuitton always creates eye-catching topics! When I first visited Bangkok in March last year, the "Louis Vuitton The Place" concept store had just opened. Whenever I passed by the sky bridge at BTS Skytrain Chit Lom Station, I was always attracted by the fashionable LV logo and couldn't help but stop to take pictures.
At that time, LV Coffee had just opened and the reservations were fully booked. Even after a year, I still couldn’t get a seat. However, LV's theme exhibition "Visionary Journeys" is easy to book and is free.
LV Visionary Journeys is really not inferior to teamLab. It showcases LV's brand history, craftsmanship, innovation and creativity through a dreamy situational space. In short, just keep taking pictures.
The experience starts with an immersive one, walking through a tunnel made of 90 Courrier Lozine suitcases. The screens on the tunnel walls extend infinitely, making it feel like walking into a hyper-real LV universe.
The second space is a 360° panoramic showroom, which displays the LV brand's early inspirations and design documents, as well as antique hard-shell suitcases, which are dazzling to the eyes.
The third exhibition room is an important milestone for the Miaoshu brand, where five representative LV bags are suspended in 19 transparent bubbles.
The fourth exhibition room is a huge arc-shaped screen wall, with nearly two hundred Speedy and Keepall bags covering the entire wall, which is quite spectacular.
In short, I was bombarded with such cool and dazzling virtual lights and shadows, and real physical exhibits all the way. I took endless photos. Fortunately, there were no models, otherwise I would have never finished taking photos.
The last space is a colorful display grid with the concept of a giant vending machine, allowing participants to interact with it and get exclusive LV gifts.
There are exhibition-exclusive posters, souvenir bags, stickers and postcards. It is highly recommended and worth a visit. Make a reservation a few days in advance, even during popular weekend times, but it may be difficult to get a coffee shop.
