The sliverkris lounge in London is lot bigger than the other ones we have visited. We had a disappointing experience in Thailand when we used their lounge, but surprisingly this one performed a lot better. The food is lovely here and I really like the seating options - nice armchairs by the expansive windows, individual pods for working or dining tables for eating with more style. Great amenities in the lounge. Loved how they had a shower, I was able to freshen up before my next flight. Hot food selection has too many spicy option Chicken Malabar curry , peri peri chicken . Recently, I had the chance to travel and lay over at Kong Kong. Singapore airlines is one of my favourite airlines with a world class service. I received access to the silver Kris lounge. In the Business Class section, it is a sizeable place with two different sections for food. The bar opens at 5:30pm. They have plenty of showers but the wait time is quite long. It was 40 mins compared to 10mins at the gold lounge when I went. The food is really good and there's plenty of good drink options. Many types of seatings, with the favourites being half-enclosed cubicles which are limited in numbers. #favouriteairline #singaporeairlines #layover

Another less-known fact is that SQ has one of the youngest fleets in the world (7.1 years) - translating to modern and comfortable plane rides. I flew the A350-900, one of their newest planes, on SQ712 from Singapore to Bangkok. Although a short-haul flight, the experience was pleasant from start to finish. From a fast boarding experience to on-time departure, the cabin crew were attentive and warm. Lunch served was also delicious and generously-sized (I had the prawn fried rice) and sustainable! They came in sturdy paper boxes that didn't compromise on usability or aesthetic. The aircraft was clean, modern, and beautiful. Every seat on the plan has a USB and 3-pin plug outlet, a personal In-Flight Entertainment System, and other amenities. Overall, it was an enjoyable flight with SQ on a much newer and larger aircraft. The SilverKris Lounge at Changi Airport T3 reopened at the end of May 2022. For the first time since I obtained SFC in 2020, I was able to enjoy the benefits of membership on an international flight. I am very grateful that I can access the lounge even when using economy class, and I can relax even if I have a long transit! Although it is said to be larger than before, the interior does not feel that spacious. However, there are various sofa seats, counter seats, and booth seats, and the space in the back is recommended for those who want to spend a quiet time. The food is a full range of salads, soups, dim sum, and main dishes, and I was happy to see laksa, which is typical of Singapore. It is also unique to this place that TWG is available for drinks. And there is a shower room. If you call out to the staff in the shower area, you will be given a bell and will be called as soon as a booth becomes available. It is not a very large space, but towels, toothbrushes, and hair dryers are provided. The business class experience in SQ A350 was delightful. It was a late night departure from SIN at 0205. Upon take off - i changed myself up to a comfortable clothing and start indulging the SQ hospitality in Biz. I had pre-booked the "Book A Cook" service and was promptly served Lobster Thermidor. The dish was flavourful and absolutely delicious The seat itself is wide and comfy but the only complain is that their footwell is extremely narrow and slended to the side so one must sleep on a certain angle. Crew was very attentive and proactively checking on us if anything was needed. And the flight A350 with the Latest decorations of SQ also with moderate entrainment system before your seat. Because the short flying time, cabin crew only could provide a drink rapidly on the flight. In my back trip, first I am very surprised that my flight is operated by a Boeing737Max8. And the check in counter was very friendly to help me change a flight that operated by A350. This is still my favorite airplane seat though there are newer seats rolled out in these recent year. Seat: 3C and 3D This seating configuration allows you to dine together with your travel companion. Prior to boarding, the experience in the Private room was so awesome. You can choose to order via Book the Cook to choose your dish in advance. The staff was so attentive and friendly that the moment we woke up, we were asked if we would like to have some warm honey lime juice. #bucketlistreboot This is the latest Business Class seat on Singapore Airlines A380. The flight was from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Singapore Changi Airport. Compared to the previous version of Business Class, the ambiance of the whole Business Class cabin is very pleasant thanks to its purple hue and elegant orange lighting which enhances the flying experience. The seat itself is spacious and if you can get the bulkhead seat, it can become a double bed. The crew was very professional and attentive. Kids were given the SQ bear without asking. The flight was from Amsterdam to Singapore on the A350 aircraft which is one of my favourite aircraft from Singapore Airlines. The seat is made of leather and very spacious. It has one of the more generous width compared to other Business Class in the market. Though you have to get up to flip the seat and make it to the bed, it is very easy to do so. The width of the bed makes me sleep very well compared to other seats. The highlight of the trip was the cuisine served onboard. Singapore changi airport is one of the top 5 best airport in the world where it also has one of the top 5 carriers, Singapore Airlines. Singapore Airlines is known for its prestige service and on time departures and arrivals. But of course there are times where planes are delayed due to mechanical defects and such which is understandable. One thing about Singapore Airlines they do pay very much attention to customers who pay a premium to travel in the upper classes. Featuring the First Class private check in where you will be greeted on arrival and brought in to you private check in counter with a private baggage carousel that will send your bags into the built up area. You do not need to mingle with any of the other passengers in the main hall. Also, you have you very own dedicated SIA Departure Immigration, how cool is that! This departure immigration only serves Singapore Airlines first class customer with a dedicated sticker which allows you to use this service. I've not seen this in any other airport yet, but its something worth trying if you have the extra cash. Walked towards the gate is super far away from imigration side as it's the end and cornerside of this terminal 3 gate A. Few gates combined together here and majority are Singapore Airlines flight. Took around 10minutes to walk here. Surprisingly, there is a playground outside of this gate. There is also mini market inside. Waiting room are filled with people who are going back to their country or for holiday (like me). Finally able to fly again by Singapore Airlines but this time round is economy flight to closest country from Singapore which is Kuala Lumpur. Unexpectedly the flight is full and I can only get either middle or window seat at very back row. Queue for check in also quite long, but move a bit faster. Everything is auto by machine now, even to choose seat also can be done via automated check in. There are also some staffs stand by to assist. You need to register and complete mysejahtera app before flying to Malaysia. Nonetheless, all worries were put to rest by the fantastic crew and plush seats. It took only 4 minutes from reaching the check in counter to leaving with my boarding passes. An invite to the newly renovated Silverkris lounge was extended (stay tuned for a separate lounge review! 🛋) Stepping onto the plane first felt magical. You really get a moment to take in all the beauty that is the A350-900. The tall interior space without central overhead compartments, the silent engines and the smell of the plane. Settling in, pre departure drinks were not offered due to the pandemic, but orders were promptly taken for drinks after take off. An extensive menu was served including the classic Singapore Sling, Jubilee Sling, Manhattan, Screwdriver and many more cocktails topped off by Piper Heidsieck champagne. Single blend arabica coffee was also available. Dining on freshly pressed white tablecloth with a Chardonnay and Riesling really made the night. All A350 Business class seats can be converted into a flatbed by flipping it downwards. A blanket and thick pillow were included. Small gripe that there were no individual aircondition nozzles. Otherwise, I slept for a good 5 hours straight. The cherry on top of this fantastic flight had to be the crew who was very proactive and my glass was rarely empty. They were also always down for small talk and it was a pleasure learning about their work during the pandemic. Really much respect for these flight crews. SilverKris Lounge at Incheon Airport in Seoul. We were here on stopover from Japan to Singapore. Definitely the best Star Alliance Lounge at Incheon! Great and wide selection of food. Food catering is provided by Hyatt hotel, and the standard is indeed excellent. Possibly the best food selection for SilverKris lounges in Asia (outside of Singapore). It has wider seats, footrests and even an option to preorder a meal (book the cook).
