We spent an afternoon at West Coast Park and had a great time enjoying nature and family-friendly activities. It’s a huge park with something for everyone—from open fields to scenic coastal views and a massive adventure playground that kept the kids busy for hours. The playground is definitely a highlight. There are all kinds of structures, including rope courses, flying foxes, slides, and climbing frames for different age groups. It was so fun watching the kids run from one section to another while we relaxed nearby. After playtime, we took a walk to the Grand Lawn, a huge open space perfect for kite flying and picnics. There’s also a quieter part of the park with a marsh garden and wooden boardwalk, where we spotted some birds and dragonflies—very peaceful and unexpectedly rich in nature. Another nice surprise was the cycling path and GoCycling rental kiosk. We rented a couple of bikes and explored more of the park, which felt breezy and relaxing, especially with the waterfront views. There’s even a dog run and barbecue pits for families looking to spend the whole day here. Overall, West Coast Park is a fantastic spot for families or anyone who just wants a break outdoors. This theme park is suitable for kids aged 1-7 years old. This place is located on the third floor of LC Mall located on Zhangyang Road in Pudong. An indoor playground is great for families with kids as you don’t have to worry much about the weather. The playground is not that big howeverthe 10 theme zones division is quite impressive. My kids are fans of Peppa Pig and truly loved the place, moving from one theme zone to the other. There are many activities to do ranging from the slides, trains, bikes, interactive shows, jumping muddy puddles, etc. There is also a small shop inside that sells some refreshments if you need something small to eat. The weather was forecasted to be good and both my wife and I schedule was less busy thus decided to step out with the kids for them to ride their scooter and enjoy the weather. We were looking for a park that was not crowded and found Juyuan Orchard which is approximately 20mins from our place. The park is located in Jiading district, its open from 8.30 to 5pm and adult ticket cost 30rmb. Its free for kids. The park has many activities to enjoy. You can go fishing, feed animals, fruit picking, kart racing, etc. We took them to the kids playground which had many activities for them to do. Their favorite was little excavator machine/ digger. You can use the gate ticket to exchange for coins to play with the digger. Overall, it was a great family day. We had a lot of fun and plan to go back with a couple of friends to enjoy a barbecue time together there. #park #kidsactivities #familyouting #shanghai

Pantai Merdeka is a beautiful beach at the river mouth of the Sungai Merbok about 30km from Sungai Petani. It is a very popular beach and is usually crowded during the weekends and public holidays. Interesting place to visit with family members or friends. They have are “night market” styles of stall selling foods, scarves, blouses, fake jerseys and clothings. There are plenty of food trucks on holiday or weekend. You can take a boat ride to Tanjung Dawai across to find a local food product. It cost only RM3 each way. Parking is not a problem here as there is a vast area to park our vehicles. Don’t hesitate to come over here. Science Center Singapore is a great place for families with kids to go when in Singapore. It is an indoor activity to enjoy and is located in Jurong East. Tickets are mostly purchased online and can be done when you arrive there. We had an issue with online purchasing however they helped us resolve this issue and purchase tickets. Children under 4 years don’t need tickets. Our journey started with the electric show at the Future Makers. We then made our way to the other stations. They were various students there on school trips with their respective teachers guiding them as they experience each station. This is a great place to indulge your kids in science. Almost everything is interactive with clearly explained instructions. Each station is worthy of a visit. So next time you are in Singapore, put the Science Center on your itinerary. We loved every bit of the place and the kids wanted to go back the following day. #singapore #familyouting
