Chefchaouen (Chefchaouen) is a beautiful town located in the Rif Mountains in northern Morocco, and is famous for its distinctive blue buildings. Chefchaouen is known as the "blue city", and the walls and doors of the houses are painted blue. There are several reasons for this, including religious significance, to keep cool, and to repel insects. Founded in 1471, it is also influenced by Spanish culture due to the immigration of Muslims and Jews from Spain. 🙆♀️Although it is a tourist destination, it has a more relaxed atmosphere than other large Moroccan cities, and is a great place to enjoy a stroll! There are so many cats around that you might wonder if the whole city has cats. 🤗
[Medina (Old Town)] Chefchaouen's Medina is a maze of narrow alleys lined with beautiful blue-painted buildings. Small shops, cafes, and handicraft stores are scattered throughout.
[Plaza Uta el Hammam] The central square is home to many cafes and restaurants, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
[Grand Mosque] Chefchaouen's main mosque, characterized by its octagonal minaret.
[Kasbah (Citadel)] A historic citadel in the center of the city, with a museum and beautiful gardens inside. ↑I didn't know this at all😭 Isn't prior information too important? Chefchaouen is a place loved by many tourists for its beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere😍 When you visit, please enjoy the city's blue scenery and traditional Moroccan culture to the fullest‼ ︎_____________________
