When traveling to Germany, don't miss the Hanseatic city of Lüneburg. Honestly, I wouldn't have known about this place if I hadn't watched a German TV series, but once I saw its colorful little houses, I was deeply attracted. In the city, apart from the churches, the other buildings are not tall. You can find all kinds of delicious food just by walking around. This place is a paradise for foodies! It is said that the population here is only 100,000, and 1/10 of them are students from Lüneburg University. It can be said that this city is supported by tourism and education. The day I arrived in Lüneburg happened to be a Sunday, and it was also the free open day for German monuments. I felt like I had found a treasure. There is an old handicraft street in the city, and a medieval market event was being held at that time. The scene was like a time-travel drama. People in ancient costumes set up stalls on the street, as if they had really returned to ancient times. It was so much fun! There was also a live stage play on another street, where artists sang and danced in traditional costumes, and the classical music was mesmerizing.

#motortravel My motor trip through Germany with friends was an unforgettable adventure! 🚗 We hit the open road, starting in Munich, where the autobahn stretches out endlessly. Cruising at high speeds (no speed limits in parts!), we felt an incredible sense of freedom. One of our first stops was Neuschwanstein Castle, with an entrance fee of about €15. The view of this fairytale castle against the Bavarian Alps was simply breathtaking. We continued through the scenic Black Forest, stopping for delicious local cuisine—flavors as rich as the views. On the way, we explored smaller towns like Freiburg and Heidelberg, each filled with cobbled streets, old architecture, and cozy cafés. One of the highlights was the Rhine Valley, where vineyards and castles line the riverbanks. Today I went to McDonald's in Germany for breakfast. As a chain of fast food restaurants, they all have ordering machines. McDonald's in Germany has fewer options in the morning. There are not so many types of English muffins. There are about three to four items, including a breakfast set. It is usually sold with biscuits and mineral water. Well, at least in my opinion! Rothenburg is located on the edge of the state of Bavaria in northern Germany, and is one of the best tourist destinations in Germany. For many years, it has been included in the route of the Romantic Road. 3.) Burger Figure 7 One of the treasures of the Elbe River is the city of Hamburg. Trust me, Hamburg has too many epic sights! Although it may not have the "advantages" of Berlin, as one of the best destinations for city travel in Germany, it has a strong influence. 4.) Dresden Figure 8 Dresden is located in the Saxony region of Germany and is a city about the size of Edinburgh in the UK. This makes it big enough to be vibrant and full of things to do, but also small enough to explore over a long weekend. Dresden was once known as the "Jewel Box", housing several luxurious buildings and artworks. 5.) Munich Figure 9 Munich is known as the capital of Bavaria and is undoubtedly a very beautiful city, as well as one of the most worthwhile places to visit in Germany. Not only that, Munich can be the gateway to the wider Bavarian region, and can also easily become the starting or ending point of your travels.

#2023travelwish One of my most wished for travel destination is Berlin, Germany. I travelled in a group pre-Covid and would love to visit Berlin once again. We had tons of fun and learnt a lot about its history. Charlie Checkpoint is the Berlin Wall crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War from 1947 to 1991. The now defunct checkpoint is now a tourist attraction where you pay 5 euros to take a picture with the fake army officers. Berliner Unterwelten is an underground museum that left a deep impression in me. I get to experience how the people survive underground and I'm amazed at how intelligent and strong their survival skills were. I also visited the magnificent Reichstag building where Bundestag, the German federal parliament meets.

Opened in 1894, it underwent a full restoration in 1999 after many damages throughout the years. Pre-registration is required to visit this place, be sure to make your registration weeks in advance as there are limited slots each day. Do note that visitors can only visit the roof terrace and dome of the Reichstag Building. As this is a government building, do expect security checks before entering the building. There are alot of European branded cars made in Germany like the main fews are BMW, Audi, Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz. As I'm a car fanatic, the mecerdes benz Museum is a bucketlists for me, as this musuem showcases Mercedes benz even before we were born. From the very 1st man made gas powered car in the 1800s and also the very 1st Mercedes sports car called the SL60 AMG to even the very first Mercedes benz car where doors open upwards. This musuem covers more than 15,000 square metres with at least more than 100 over vehicles on showcase where you are able to learn the history and works behind the vehicles. Recently I went for a short work trip to Frankfurt in Germany where I was able to do a short visit to St Paul's Church where its a former protestant Church in Germany and this is a site visited by many tourists as this has a historical value where this Church was built in the 1800s, and surprisingly this Church wasn't even bombed. Also not too far away is the frankfurt train station located about a 10 - 15min walk away. The train station called Frankfurt am Main Hauptbahnhof, was also built in the 1800s was a transport hub for Germany and they have more than 20 over platforms making it one of the biggest and largest train station in Europe. If you look around you in the town of frankfurt, the building resembles of olden times cottages houses which you are unable to see elsewhere. Jerman ni negaranya besar, ke-7 terbesar di Eropah dan 2/3 daripada saiz Perancis. Namun, bandar yang selalu dilawati hanyalah Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin atau Stuttgart. Maklumlah ramai peminat kereta buatan Jerman atau peminat kelab bola sepak di situlah bandar yang terkenal. . . Kalau pusing Switzerland kena 2 minggu, pusing Jerman kena 18 minggu memandangkan Jerman 9 kali ganda lebih besar daripada Switzerland ;)

The numerous conflict that is written in their history is just heartbreaking and some heartwarming at the same time. They have their own identity and they identify as a strong nation. I believe they are a strong nation too. Very patriotic too and kind to the neighbouring countries. In most restaurants you can request tap water and they may or may not charge you but it is most likely straight from the sink. In some American fast food restaurants, (i.e. McDonalds) you must pay for ketchup as well. Be aware that the menus at most fast food restaurants in Germany are not exactly the same. You may also notice that a sandwich that you recognize from back home may taste a little different or it could be smaller. When you enter a restaurant you will not be seated, just walk right in and pick the table of your choice!- the tip should be much smaller than you would give in the States (this is because the waiters/waitresses get paid more than in the states) A tip of two or three EUR would be considered a good tip for very good service. Supermarkets – If you shop for groceries in Germany you will notice the supermarkets have all of their large rolling carts outside in a designated area and they are locked to one another. In order to utilize a cart you must place one EUR in the cart itself, you will see the slot on the handle. Upon leaving the supermarket you latch the cart back to the other carts and pull the device out where you placed the coin, now you can retrieve your coin. When you have all of the groceries you want, proceed to the check-out counter. You will have to purchase plastic bags to put the groceries in or you can take one in yourself. If you decide to purchase one they are usually visible at the counter and normally only cost a few cents. If there is a long line do not put all of your groceries in the bag, put them back into the cart and bag them away from the line.

One of the most impressive German castles located here in Gotha is Friedenstein Castle (Schloss Friedenstein). Built by Ernest I, Duke of Saxe-Gotha, between 1643 and 1654, Friedenstein Castle became the seat of the Dukes of Saxe-Gotha and well as their residence. The Museum Island (German: Museumsinsel) is a museum complex on the northern part of the Spree Island in the historic heart of Berlin. It is one of the most visited sights of Germany's capital and one of the most important museum sites in Europe. In Heidelberg there is a pedestrian area that is very famous because it is the longest pedestrian in Europe, and on the left and right side there are old buildings that are still functioning. In addition, there is also a famous bed, Heidelberger Schloss, which remains in ruins. This building was originally a fortress located in a strategic place as a fortress. A special part of this city is the old town of the Baroque era. In Heidelberg there is a pedestrian area that is very famous because it is the longest pedestrian in Europe, and on the left and right side there are old buildings that are still functioning. In addition, there is also a famous bed, Heidelberger Schloss, which remains in ruins. This building was originally a fortress located in a strategic place as a fortress. This fort later became the residence / palace of the king in Pfalz. Since the damage in 1689 and 1693 due to the war for the throne from the heirs of the Pfalz kingdom, this building has only been partially restored. In 1764 one part of the building was again damaged by a fire caused by a lightning strike.
