I had an excellent 3-night stay at Zug Youth Hostel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming staff who made the check-in process smooth and pleasant.
The hostel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to the beautiful town of Zug and its picturesque surroundings.
Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, making for a great start to each day. The facilities were modern and convenient, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience.
I highly recommend Zug Youth Hostel for its top-notch service, cleanliness, and prime location. It’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.

Popular is only one step away from the bus station and train station, I like it very much.
The surrounding environment of this hotel is very good, you can see a good scenery
The front desk was great, especially Justina and Dooly on the night shift were very friendly and English was great!
Overall this hotel left a good impression on me

GGuest UserHotel Bauernhof is a self check in hotel that does not have an on-site reception. Rather, its reception is located only 1 minute away at Hotel Apart. Both locations are right outside of the train station Rotkreuz. When I walked out of the train station, We went into Hotel Apart to do in person check in. It was 2pm and check in time was supposed to be by 3pm. The reception was nice enough to let us get the room right away. The room is small yet fully equipped with coffee and tea. Housekeeping is good. No problem for checking out in person at Hotel Apart as well. Everything goes very smoothly. The hotel rate is much cheaper than those located in Luzern. This hotel is only about 20 minutes train ride to the center of Luzern. Mount Rigi and Mount Stans are close by (within one hour train ride). Nice stay.
