From the moment I arrived, Potato Head Bali exceeded every expectation I had.
The eco-conscious design of the resort is stunning, blending luxury with a deep respect for the environment. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay
From breakfast to dinner time were amazing.
Sunset view was magical and they have great DJ as well.

Location is good with many eateries n massage spa. The rooms are big except the room on the 2nd floor is hot due to the weather . Service is superb. Requested them to clean the pool n it was done perfectly n everyday we had someone attending to it . There is Netflix except the TV in the living room is about 45” which i think its small due to the large living room space. Moreover there are No TV inside the rooms . Kitchen is fully furnished but i dont recommend cooking as the stove is really run down looking . Due to the age of these villas it really need some reoair n refurbishment. But if u are not fussy about the age n looking for relax, this is the place .
All the staffs and service are really top notch .

A really amazing experience staying here. The staff are so friendly and kind, and the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. The location is great too - not far from the airport but also close enough to lots of interesting things. There is a little mall next door with some nice restaurants too. Will be back for sure!
Luxurious hotel. Super worth the price! Perfect for a group tour cause it comes with 4 bedrooms. Any excess people can sleep in the living and dining area cause the sofa is huge, very comfy to sleep on, it's like a bed.

Overall the Hotel is lovely, I’d give it a 7/10.
Pros:
good location in Canggu
Breakfast buffet was delicious
Coffee was great!
Decent kids club
Pool is nice but can get overcrowded easily
Kids room is perfect for families as it has bunk beds.
Cons:
Room design is poor and very small. We travelled with a baby and requested a cot. With the cot in the room it became very difficult to move around.
We had to request a bigger room (kids room)
Light switches - these have to be the most confusing switches I’ve ever used. It’s basically a game of pushing them all at different intervals to try and get the correct lights to go on/off
Choose the room with ocean view unless you want to overlook construction sites (but noise didn’t affect in room)
Not pram friendly - limited ramps for pram
The power cut out on consecutive days in our room which was annoying given the heat.
Staff service was average, some struggled to converse in English
Overall, I’d stay there again but would book the bigger room for sure.
My second time here. First time with my partner. Always loved the ocean view villa. It’s a quiet and very private place. The room is so comfortable. The little details such as jewellery basket, beach basket, hats, and even bath salts really pleased me. Friendly hotel people. Took the time to engage in a conversation with us. And big appreciation for all the early power breakfast before the marathon as well as arranging transport to the venue. Hotel is ideal for couple. But also a fun place for family— so close to Bali Safari Park. Will be back again with the family.

Excellent and comfortable hotel with location just off of the beach. Assortment of delicious seafood restaurants 30 seconds off the back of the hotel right on Jimbaran beach.
We had a very nice time there, comfortable stay, attentive staff, delicious breakfast, and in overall pleasant experience.

WARNING: NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO CANNOT TOLERATE INSECTS AND SPIDERS. Asked for bug spray and had to kill 4 1-inch wide spiders, a cockroach the size of my finger, a giant spider the size of my palm and many other insects.
Swimming pool was dirty and had high copper levels from the chlorine, turned my nicely dyed hair green. So did all of our nails. My mom has sensitive skin and her genitals started stinging from the copper (her swimwear turned green too). Got very upset and complained but all they tried to compensate with was free lunch boxes from the owner's restaurant. How can a free lunch box fix my hair?!
However, the staff was really nice and helpful. They also tried helping me out by bringing up my issue with their management team.
Picture posted was when their team tried to soak white cloth in the swimming pool, which started turning green after about half an hour.

It's within walking distance from the airport!
It's very convenient to get to, so it's also recommended for those arriving on late-night flights. Also, since it's in a back alley, the hotel itself is in a relatively noisy area, but it doesn't bother me that much (^^)
The staff are very friendly and the owner seems to be a family-run business!
The hotel itself is all private rooms, and there are only 8 rooms, so you can relax very well.
It was nice to spend time in the pool, sweating it out and reading a book in front of my room♪
There are also delicious and cheap warungs nearby

GGuest UserExcellent room. Really big with nice sitting area, balcony, good working desk. Also loved the bathroom.
Had some problems getting the safe to work but eventually were fixed.
There is not much micro economy outside and just one restaurant. I did manage to get Grab from the hotel.
The hotel runs a great shuttle to Semarapura and Goa Lawah, it's free but you tip the driver and guide and pay for entry to the various sites.
The spa area is nice but the treatment I had was not very good.
LLadySoulI had a great stay and experience at the Holiday Inn Resort. I arrived exhausted, sore & with the “Bali Belly” from my busy week in Ubud. The lovely lady at the reception immediately picked up on my state upon arrival. I appreciated her inquiring about what was wrong and her sympathy. The hotel also offered me complimentary ginger, turmeric, honey & lemon tea several times for the issue with my stomach. I found a gecko in my room. They tried to get it out but failed. They instead upgraded my room and moved me to a gecko free room. I really appreciated that gesture. The spa was equally amazing. I was met with friendly smiling staff all day long around the hotel. I loved the breakfast and the beach views. Thank you so much Holiday Inn for making my last few days in Bali Amazing. Don’t hesitate to book it!
JJoe YoteFamily-friendly: The resort is very family-friendly, with a kids' club, kids' pool, and plenty of activities for children.
* Romantic getaway: The hotel is also a popular choice for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The beautiful setting and intimate atmosphere create a perfect backdrop for a relaxing and romantic escape.
Overall, the Hilton Bali Resort is a great choice for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Bali. It offers a wide range of amenities and activities, making it suitable for families, couples, or groups of friends.
GGuest UserWalking distance to massage and food options. Nice beach area which is good as people reserve the sun beds from sunrise. Breakfast has a good variety and room service is reasonably priced. A bit ‘resorty’ but has everything you want and great for the price
DDr Layla Tiara BellaAston Denpasar is simply amazing. It is now my resident hotel for my business trips. The rooms are huge and clean. The staff are simply amazing.
RRozeleenRoom was OK . No refrigerator but have balcony which i like. Aircond also not so cold. My room at the end block so its quite far from the main entrance and the nearest lift was out of service. Breakfast was ok only. The location is excellent 👍🏼
GGuest UserA very disappointing stay at this hotel. Issues started at check in and continued throughout our stay . Our family booked 5 rooms at the Alam KUL KUL and we all had issues with facilities and getting any action taken to address them . To start we visited the hotel in mid November 2023 to enquire about late checkout when we stayed in February 2024. The hotel reception were very pleasant in November and guaranteed that late checkout was easy and it was a great rate of 550.000 . The reception staff said that they had added the late checkout to our booking. When we arrived in February everything was different. First the reception staff questioned that we had visited in November and that we did not have late checkout added to our booking. They insisted that we name the hotel staff who we had spoken with in November. After much discussion we had the late checkout added but staff were less than friendly. Then they insisted we pay the extra money straight away. We said no problem but then my wife’s wise card wouldn’t work in their payment machine and staff kept insisting that the wrong pin was being entered. My wife had been using the card for the last 7 days in Bali with no issues. So I then gave them my wise card and was surprised when it wouldn’t work in their machine either. I also had been using my card daily in Bali with no issues. After much further discussion with hotel reception they said that we could pay at check out. We had already pre paid for all 5 rooms prior to this. On the day of checkout I received a request to contact reception as they had no records of us asking for late checkout. During several WhatsApp messages from reception they said that we had refused to pay for the late checkout and that we had stated that we would get it free. I was absolutely disappointed to receive these messages and we had never stated anything about free late checkout. The reception staff continued sending messages that were completely false statements. In reflection I think that the staff were trying to cover up the poor service lack of professionalism that they lacked. This were only a few of the small issues that arose during our stay . Our daughter and family had a mouse running around their room and it took staff 3 days to come and look at the room. There was never any offer to change rooms. Another family group had their air conditioning not working and it took 3 days for the hotel to address that issue . My wife ordered drinks during happy hour at the garden pool and when the bill came they wanted to charge full price and their staff stated that my wife had ordered room service! She was locked out of our room at the time because the electronic key kept failing.
On 3 separate occasions I asked to speak with the hotel manager to see if we could get better communication and service. Unfortunately the manager was always unavailable, so can only assume that is where the problem starts . Too important or don’t care about hotel guests.
Most of the hotels staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant staff.
The Alam is a very old property in a very good location. The rooms have been renovated and beds are comfortable. After visiting Bali about 16 times and staying in many different hotels and villas this was our most disappointing stay in Bali. It’s a shame that the small issues kept coming and that the hotel were either trying to cover up or complacent about.
AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.

What a lovely hotel this is. Beautiful landscaping and architecture. The rooms are large and very homie with a comfortable sofa, table and TV. The balcony is huge! There’s room to do yoga and it’s a great place to read or write in privacy, with the sound of the waves crashing and tropical birds singing. The main pool is massive with a fun swim up bar and there are so many lounge chairs everywhere, you’re sure to get one. I really enjoyed lounging by the sea wall and walking along the beach. The staff are super friendly and attentive. It’s also not too far from the street where you can find a shop or a salon.
Wishes: The rugs in the room were full of stains and should be deep cleaned or replaced (or just gone). Also, I did not try the breakfast buffet, but I did order room service. The omelette and gluten free bread was very nice; however, the ricotta seemed a bit off and the yogurt was clumpy. The orange juice was fermented. (probably not stored properly as it’s tricky in these hot climates) so I did mention this issue to the manager and he promptly offered me some fruit and to make me a fresh juice. I hope they can improve the food to match the amazing atmosphere and service.
