This place is highly recommended and very accessible to all directions whether you’re going to Grindelwald and Geneva etc. They have space room for those who wants to eat dinner. The down side is that no available shampoo and body soap liquids in the bathroom.overall I recommend that you should stay here. Very approachable staff and very helpful.

One of the best stays I've experienced in my 12 years of travel history.Jugendherberge Schloss Burgdorf Hostel offers a unique experience, being an old castle turned into a beautiful hostel. The location is simply awesome.
However, I made a silly mistake by not calling ahead to confirm my check-in time and ended up spending a night outside in the chilly weather because the reception was closed. Thankfully, a staff member arrived the next morning at 7:00 AM and I was able to check in.
The breakfast provided is good, and the cleanliness and service are both commendable. The climb from the train station takes about 20 minutes, but it's well worth it for the incredible setting.
Overall, despite my mishap, this is one of the best hostels in Switzerland and I highly recommend it.

Unser Aufenthalt im Parkhotel Du Sauvage war hervorragend. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Zimmer war ordentlich und während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde immer wieder sauber gemacht. Beim Frühstück gab es viele Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Unserem Kaffee konnten wir gottseidank aus einem Kaffeevollautomaten entnehmen ( in vielen Hotels gibt es meistens Instantskaffee oder Filterkaffee)
Brot und Croissants waren immer frisch. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Verstehe auch garnicht warum wir für so einen tollen Service wenig gezahlt haben, hätte meiner Meinung nach mehr sein können.
Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Absolutely loved this place!
It’s an old building, but everything is very clean and well-maintained.
The atmosphere is super cozy, It’s located slightly away from the typical tourist areas, which makes it peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to get anywhere easily. The town itself is calm and very pleasant to stay in, perfect for spending a whole day just relaxing in the courtyard without going anywhere.
It’s also very accessible from Interlaken or Spiez — just a short 15-minute bus ride.
Even though the bus only comes once an hour, it’s easy to manage if you check the schedule.
Highly recommend this peaceful and charming stay!

We made the request for three nights but in the reservation show each separate, so in the check in they didn't know what to do, maybe they will change our room, but I don't why because we pay the same room for every night, I hope the give me the same room to give them an Excellent qualification. The most satisfactory hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything is perfect. The dreamy hillside is visible from the window. It's a pity that it rained on the day I went there. I will stay there again next time if I have the chance.

Super-expected hotel, less than 3000 with breakfast and dinner, and very rich, that is, the room is small, the bathroom is very small, only bath and shower, there is parking lot, the hotel is in the town next to gstaad, drive to gstaad for a few minutes, This area is so beautiful that it is worth visiting because the hotel has no restaurant in the off-season. It is a very worthwhile place and the supplies are average. It is not a luxury hotel after all.

약15일간의 유럽여행 중 가장 만족하고 떠날 때 아쉬웠던 호텔
호텔에 들어갈 땐 집으로 들어가는 안락함
아침에 일어나서 들리는 종소리 및 새소리
하나부터 열가지 모든게 완벽했던 숙소
다음번에도 스위스에 온다면 무조건 방문 예정
1) 체크인 부터 친절함으로 집에 온 듯한 느낌
2) 차로 이동해야하지만 조용하고 coop과 멀지 않은 동네
3) 베른/취리히/인터라켄/루체른 왠만한 도시 및 관광지가 한시간 권 정도로 주변 경치 보면서 드라이브 하기 좋은 위치
4) 스위스에 왔다면 사람들에 치이는 것 보다는 자연속에 스위스인 들처럼 살아보는 것도 좋다고 생각함.
5) 방이 크고 테라스 및 소파까지 있어 밤에 별보거나 포장해온 식사 흐기도 편함.
이 숙소 덕에 스위스 여행 처음부터 마지막까지 너무 좋은 경험이었고 바닥났던 인류애가 살아나 다음번에도 꼭 오고싶음.

WWanderfieVery nice design hotel, new and spacious, but what it’s lacking is the warmness of the staff. Only the new girl working there is pretty nice, the rest of the staff has lukewarm attitude. The first room I got was nice, they gave me a double bed instead of a single bed that I booked but upon enter, there was a pair of socks hanging on the toilet door. Called the housekeeping and they removed it but also realised the room is very hot, but AC is not adjustable as it is centralised. So they gave me a fan instead. Later at night I also realised it was pretty noisy as the alfresco of the restaurant is right beneath my room. And then the toilet shower is broken. I tried calling the reception and housekeeping at 9-10pm but nobody pick up which I assumed it’s probably not 24hrs service. I bear with the broken shower. Next day morning I asked to change the room to quieter one but I need to get all my stuff out by 11am which I did. I went to the reception and told them about the broken shower, with no apologies, the guy just say ya ya, that’s an easy fix. I’m still glad they changed the room for me. But like I say still hope for a better service with the money I paid. Also not enough hanging area in the bathroom, especially when the first room I got… no hanging area at all, so can’t hang towel or clothes.

GGuest UserGreat Location with a nice comfortable bed and bedding. They provided free pastries and fruits which is a thoughtful touch. However the staff weren’t very clear with what the paid breakfast was included. You need to pay 22 CHF for a boiled egg (not freshly boiled), a small yogurt and a bad cheese stick. Definitely not worth to have the breakfast there.

LLiliThe view from the window is very nice. The staff are very nice as well. But the room suffers from the noise from other rooms. If people come back late or wake up early you can hear their movements and talks. I was waked up in the early morning. But what more you can expect in this price.

邹邹I came to Switzerland again because I came to work in Lautenbronn last time and then went to the Jungfrau. So I wanted to have a different experience this time. When I saw the Interlaken Hotel, I found this lake lodge hostel, a youth hostel in Isertwald. After viewing the map, I found that it was on the edge of Lake Brienz. The hotel was also on the lakeside, and set up a trip with friends. Two families, four big and two small. Istrewald is located on the east side of Interlaken, directly from Interlaken ost train station by bus 103. Each hour of 05 minutes is the bus departure time, every hour, about 20 minutes. Isertwald is a small village, but the scenery is beautiful, with few tourists and very quiet. Upon arrival, I went directly to the hotel. The hotel owner is a young couple, very friendly, the hotel has a great view and the balcony is facing the lake. But the hotel is a wooden structure, and everything should be soft and afraid of affecting others. The hotel has a kitchen, kitchen utensils and cutlery that can be used at will. I didn't see the supermarket here, so I can take it from the big supermarket in Interlaken ost station. The hotel has a free bus card to pick up and drop off to Interlaken. This time I took the drone and took a lot of beautiful lake views and the video of Isertwald. There are a lot of wild swans in Lake Brienz. The swan is not afraid of people. In short, this is a very beautiful and quiet village.

ししん太The front desk staff were all friendly and left a good impression.
At first glance, it looked more like an ordinary private home than a hotel, but considering the location it was relatively easy to find and I didn't have to wander around looking for it.
The rooms were clean and safety was well ensured. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that the shower and toilet were shared.
I happened to be in a room next to them so it wasn't too inconvenient.
Looking out the window with a small balcony gave me a sense of calm.
