Xiaoxifuliangfen (hunyuan)

Every time I go to Hunyuan, I always have a bowl of jelly at the Little Wife’s Shop. It’s the same jelly, but the Little Wife’s Shop is totally different. There are many diners every time I go there, and there are very few empty seats, including the time I went there at 2:30 pm. The jelly is smooth and delicate; the dried tofu is salty and chewy; the broad beans are crispy and fragrant; plus the red of chili, the green of chives, the taste of coriander, and the aroma of aged vinegar, it always leaves people wanting more.

The Xiaoxifu jelly tastes good, the millet jelly is also good, the service needs to be improved. However, the potato jelly tastes a little bitter after eating, which is not very accustomed to. The broad beans in it are particularly fragrant. Datong Hunyuan jelly is also very popular.

A bowl of jelly with a meat pie makes a delicious and filling lunch. The toppings are unique, with crispy broad beans and spicy spices!

I went there based on the reviews. It was packed, and there were people waiting for a table right next to me. The jelly, pie, and tea egg were pretty much just okay. But then a local taxi driver told me that the locals don't eat there, only outsiders, who think their jelly is a dollar more expensive than others.

It's basically a buffet, and the chili and dried tofu are so delicious that I bought a lot to take home. The restaurant is very popular from morning to night, so you need to wait in line. Also, friendly reminder, those with obsessive-compulsive disorder should consider dining here with caution.
