The Yao people of Longji Rice Terraces now not only make a living by farming, because Longji Rice Terraces are famous all over the world, so many Yao people use the characteristic buildings of the Yao village where they live as inns and restaurants to attract tourists. The inn I stayed in was at the top of the mountain, so I had to climb a section of the mountain road to get there. Yue Inn is also a more distinctive inn among these B&amp;Bs and has its own restaurant, which not only provides accommodation but also meals for tourists.

龙脊梯田的瑶族百姓如今不光是种田为生，因为龙脊梯田名扬天下，所以有很多瑶族百姓利用自己家住的瑶寨特色的建筑作为吸纳游客的客栈酒楼，我住的客栈因为是在山顶部位所以要爬一段山路才能到达，悦客栈也是这些民宿中的一个较有特色的客栈并带有自家餐厅，不仅为游客提供住宿还可以提供膳食

小店位于梯田出口处，店内环境不错，是游完梯田补充能量的好去处，最喜欢小店阳台上喝果汁的惬意感（果汁醇厚），店内餐桌旁有供客人手机充电的插座，店内美女很nice.

The shop is located at the exit of the terraced fields. The environment inside the shop is good. It is a good place to replenish energy after visiting the terraced fields. I like the comfortable feeling of drinking juice on the balcony of the shop the most (the juice is mellow). There is a socket for guests to charge their mobile phones next to the dining table in the shop. The beauties in the shop are very nice.

Maybe it was because it was off-season when we went there, so there were not many shops open. The innkeeper recommended this one to me. To be honest, the taste was average and the price was not cheap, but the service was very good and the boss was very warm.

When the first rays of morning sunlight bathe the Longji Rice Terraces, the layers upon layers of them seem to be sprinkled with gold. I once thought the terraces were merely a spectacle, until I met an 83-year-old Yao woman carrying a bamboo basket as she walked along the ridges of her fields. I finally understood that they are measuring the rings of the land with their lives.

As early as the Yuan Dynasty, Zhuang and Yao ancestors began cultivating terraced fields in Longji. Over 2,300 terraces stretch across 10 square kilometers on the slopes at altitudes ranging from 300 to 1,100 meters, creating stunning landscapes such as &quot;Seven Stars and the Moon&quot; and &quot;Nine Dragons and Five Tigers.&quot; The oldest terraces are over 650 years old and still utilize the traditional &quot;coupled ploughing&quot; method&mdash;two oxen working side by side&mdash;a farming tradition dating back to the Sui and Tang dynasties. 👩 Huangluo Red Yao Village: The Story of Long Hair in a Bun
On the way to Jinkeng Dazhai, be sure to stop at the Huangluo Changfa Village Restaurant. The Red Yao women here are known for their &quot;three unique traits&quot;: their hair as belts, their embroidered clothes, and their shoes that curl up. They never cut their hair, with the longest reaching 2.1 meters. Before bundling their hair, they first use ancestral rice washing water to condition it. Sitting in a wooden building, eating bamboo rice, watching the elderly women comb their hair while singing Yao songs, it&#39;s as if time has become the flowing black silk of their hair.

🚡 Journey on the High-Aerial Cableway
Being in the transparent cable car of the Longji Cableway is truly magical&mdash;a flowing sea of green beneath your feet, and wisps of smoke rising from stilt houses in the distance. As the cable car soars through the clouds, I suddenly understand why the Yao legend holds that terraced fields are a ladder connecting heaven and earth. Be sure to choose a clear evening to experience the stunning sunset over the terraced fields and the starry sky as the boat sails across them.

Every ridge here is a line of poetry written by our ancestors, and every strand of hair is entwined with ancient legends. While modern people still seek &quot;poetry and distant places,&quot; the people of Longsheng have long transformed their lives into a landscape painting.
