[Shenzhen Mandarin Oriental Hotel·Sancan Bazaar Cloud Food Tour] The Three Meals Bazaar, located on the 78th floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Shenzhen, is a food paradise in the sky. Mainly serving Chinese food, meals are provided throughout the day. Breakfast is semi-buffet and the buffet table has a rich variety of items, including freshly squeezed juice and fresh coconut. The a la carte menu is fresh and delicious. The arugula and green apple salad is refreshing, and the sourness of the green apple awakens the taste buds; the abalone hotpot is fresh and tender with a rich aroma. The weekend dinner buffet features seasonal additions, including Boston lobster, shrimp, and other luxurious seafood, as well as freshly opened French Fundy-Claire oysters with sweet and fresh meat. After dinner, you can go to MO Bar on the 79th floor to overlook the night view of Shenzhen and taste specially made cocktails, such as the rum-based "Copper", which has a mellow taste. Having stayed at four Four Seasons hotels in China, I've found that overall, they've all maintained a good standard. Their overall quality is slightly lower than that of the Mandarin Oriental, but better than brands like the Park Hyatt and the Ritz-Carlton. While the new Four Seasons hotels that opened in the past two years are also above standard, few have truly stood out. Instead, the classics still hold their own. Here are my recommendations based on my multiple stays, especially for families traveling with children: Four Seasons Hotel, Hangzhou, West Lake Located on the shores of West Lake in Hangzhou, this hotel's only drawback is that the rooms are a bit dated. However, the Chinese-style design of the public areas and villas is truly charming and a major draw. Plus, it's home to Jinsha Hall, Hangzhou's top Chinese restaurant, and breakfast is delivered to your room. The quality is excellent, and the service is exceptional. This hotel is definitely the top Four Seasons hotel, and it's our family's first choice every time we visit Hangzhou. Our kids love the ambiance. Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong Connected to the Hong Kong IFC, it offers stunning views of Victoria Harbour and a stunning infinity pool. The restaurants include the three-Michelin-starred Caprice, the two-star Lung King Heen, and Argo, a top-50 Asian bar. However, the public areas are a bit small and dated, and the rooms, after renovation, have a more business-like feel, which might not be comfortable for families with children. Suzhou Four Seasons The hotel is located by Jinji Lake. The rooms are well-appointed, the Chinese restaurant's dishes are delicious, and the public areas are spacious, perfect for children to run around. However, the overall atmosphere and service are somewhat inferior to those at West Lake in Hangzhou, but it's still a good choice for a short family trip. Hangzhou Four Seasons Center The service and Chinese restaurant are excellent. The hotel is located in Wulin Square, but there's little view. The rooms are decent, but lack a touch of luxury. This makes it a good choice for families who value food and service. Guangzhou Four Seasons The lobby is spacious, the rooms feature exquisite materials and details, and some rooms offer views of the Canton Tower. However, the service was a bit lackluster on our last visit, and the lunch at the Chinese restaurant was average. We hope this will improve next time. Four Seasons Dalian Newly opened this year, the service is exceptionally attentive. While the facilities lack luxury, it's currently the best hotel in Dalian in the Donggang New District and a very pleasant experience staying with children. Four Seasons Beijing The service is truly exceptional among the Four Seasons hotels, exceptionally attentive. Both the Chinese restaurant, Cai Yi Xuan, and the Italian restaurant, Mio, are Michelin-rated and delicious. Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit dated and lack a view, but good service is crucial when traveling with children. Four Seasons Tianjin Was it once the cheapest Four Seasons? But the service is actually quite good, the Chinese restaurant is also delicious, and the rooms are slightly newer than the one in Beijing. However, it's still outshined by the Ritz-Carlton in Tianjin, so it's worth considering for families with children. Four Seasons Shenzhen The breakfast is outstanding, with a wide selection and excellent taste. The facilities are a bit dated, the view is lacking, the Chinese restaurant is okay, but the value isn't great, and the service is average. It's suitable for families with discerning breakfast enthusiasts.
