I prefer chewy parts! So I ordered the Australian Wagyu M7 New York Strip Steak 8oz The bread before the meal was baked crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, very good The Australian tiger prawns before the meal (delicious and well presented) and porcini cappuccino soup were also high-end Western food! Although it was only an 8oz steak (the person who took the order didn't ask how well done I wanted it), it was baked to the perfect doneness and beautifully placed on the iron plate! I also noticed that the German HEPP steel table knife provided was very good for cutting meat!
There are two Godfather Steakhouses in Taipei. They are high-end steakhouses. In addition to teppanyaki steaks, they also serve seafood. The prawns are well cooked. Their steaks are also served with coffee, but the coffee variety is a little bit poor.
The food was worthy of a Michelin star. The bread for the appetizer was average, delicious but not too filling. The main courses ordered that day were the Laotao and A4 Wagyu steaks, both of which were wet-aged. In addition to the good quality of the meat, the Laotao steak was very tender, and the red wine sauce was the most recommended of the three condiments. The A4 Wagyu beef was from Miyazaki, and the meat was delicate and not too oily. It is recommended to pair it with red wine for a better taste. The overall experience from the appetizer to the main course was very good, but it seemed to lack some surprises. However, the desserts were far beyond the level of the steakhouse, especially the chocolate brownie cake given as a gift by the birthday celebrants, which was sweet but not greasy, and better than the A cut at Taipei Ambassador. It was a delicious taste that would make people want to force themselves to eat more even after they were full, which made me savor it and appreciate it endlessly, so it was a beautiful ending!
Godfather Steakhouse has a dedicated beef supplier in the United States and a dedicated aging facility. The beef is aged in the United States and then imported to Taipei. This restaurant has too many labels: the best steak in the world, the most expensive steak knife in the world, and the porcini soup that looks like cappuccino, which is absolutely unforgettable.
