I took my out-of-town friends here for dinner after visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. We couldn't stop thinking about it. 😋 The elegant environment is truly the pinnacle of Shaanxi cuisine. And it's also just an 8-10 minute walk from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. ✔️Duckbill Fish with Qin Peppercorn and Persimmon Vinegar Sauce A huge fish, tender and firm with very few bones. Paired with chili oil, it's fragrant but not spicy. It's truly unique! ✔️Chang'an Yipin Hulu Chicken I dare say their Hulu Chicken is one of the best I've ever had! The skin is crispy on the outside, the inside is tender and boneless. The chicken is delicious with or without the sauce. ✔️Oil-Spread Spinach Noodles This is the ultimate carb-friendly dish. The noodles are smooth, chewy, and fragrant with spinach. The fried soy sauce is flavorful, the meat is tender, and the oil-spread chili sauce is fragrant but not overpowering. It's incredibly satisfying. Add a clove of garlic and a bowl of noodle soup, and life is like that. Not only is the food here delicious, but the presentation is also beautiful. Everyone says they'll eat here again next time they're in Xi'an. It's such a compliment! 💯

The duckbill fish is uniquely shaped. The meat is chewy and tender, and it's especially delicious once it's seasoned. 🔺Oil-Splashed Sweet Potato Leaf Noodles This is my first time eating oil-splashed noodles with such a rich side dish.
